He is trying to harm Riddhu coz she did not believed him back then and went a head on her own in rag’s issue which led to all this disaster..sia wudnt have been harmed.he wudnt have to go to prison..all this happened coz her trust on him was not enough and she went behind his back..it was a pure betrayal
