I do feel sorry for some people who commit suicide because they are literally out of their mind and not just a drama to get attention. Like I know this disabled girl, she has a severe arthritis even though she is so young. She cannot walk without support and she has to be put on morphine regularly because the pain is unbearable. She was recently diagnosed with brain tumor too, now shes on chemotherapy but she has tried to commit suicide 3 times when the pain gets too much to bear😭

There're many hadeaths , and also in Holy Quraan we are warned from killing any muslim. But then there was a case in which a muslim killed himself because he was very ill , then another muslim saw him in a dream, and he was in jannah. So Allah knows better. But none should test Allah's will.

So sad.😭 May Allah gives her sabr , or end her misery. I know what it feels when you are in pain.. Or when you are very depressed. It is unbearable.. also if you have to depend on others to do the slightest things.. it must be very tough.😒

May ALLAH (SWT) grant her shifa and provide her with a complete and speedy recovery. Ameen!.Brain tumors incurable hai. My aunt also had a brain tumor. She lived in Italy with her husband and children. Unfortunately, she died a few months ago.

Sorry to hear about your Aunt. It must be difficult for her children, I hope they have the love and support they need.

Yes it’s very hard when people go through such difficulty with ill-health. But you’re right about the fact that suicide is still not allowed even if the pain is too difficult. In our religion we must have hope for a greater reward for greater suffering.

It’s hard when we watch films and stuff to remember that we are only meant to live for a higher purpose and that whatever we do in this life will have consequences.

Not needed. Firstly a normal person just doesn’t wake up one day and decides to kill themselves like they show in our dramas. There are signs before that. Depression is one them.

The only drama in my opinion that has tackled this well is humsafar. Sarah’s didn’t commit suicide out of the blue. She was getting more and more depressed. Her mannerism her dressing everything changed. Kudos to the director.

In humsafar case depression was the cause...which resulted due to failure of her expectations of love and getting married to fawads character.....hero ki maa ka dislike towards her bahu...n encouraging that her dream would fulfill one day...further lead to her depression....loneliness n then suicide

Suicide is a big NO in terms of religion, and even besides that. How can ANYTHING bring you to the brink of taking your life when there's SO much you have been blessed with to LIVE and be GRATEFUL for?

All right, I know now that sounds preachy, but nothing is really ever THE end..Idk how else to put it..there's ALWAYS, ALWAYS hope somewhere..just..take a breather..reflect..a dark night doesn't just stand still..the silver lining does eventually shine through..

Wow..okay..and as far as our dramas are concerned, writers just use suicide to get away with the character and their issues..running away from any problem doesn't solve it neither is their growth for that particular character. If the given character just takes his or her life, what happened to their character graph? I mean...there's always a rise, a downfall, the changing moment, etc..suicide just "kills" the entire sketch..
