Hey guys, I know I had said that I will update next year, but guess ended up writing the chapter this year itself, since a lot of you wanted me to update soon 😆

I wrote this on my phone and in the metro while traveling so please maaf kardo if it’s not as good as expected and also ignore any typos 🤔

Chapter 4 Part 1

The whole ride Samrat and Virat were trying their best to wake Sai up. As they reached the hospital she was put on a stretcher and taken inside. Both of them were paranoid and were waiting for a response from the doctors but they were all just running around treating her. Virat was called by the nurse to fill out the forms.

Samrat was waiting outside Sai’s room when he saw Pakhi walking towards him, she looked worried, “Samrat kya hua Sai ko, sab thik toh haina, doctors ne kya kaha”.

“Jiske liye yeh natak kar rahi ho woh yaha nahi hai filhal”

“Samrat mai genuinely worried hu Sai ke liye, in fact ghar me sab worried hai yeh achanak se Sai ko kya ho gaya”

“Pakhi please mai abhi yeh sab bate karne ke state of mind me nahi hu” requested Samrat. “Samajh sakti hu Samrat, tum bahut pyar karte hona Sai se par tension mat lo woh ek fighter hai usko kuch nahi hoga” Pakhi tried to calm Samrat down, but this broke him down completely, he was trying hard to stay strong but he was scared, he just fell on his knees crying his heart out and blaming himself for not being able to take care of her. Pakhi sat beside him and hugged him tight while he cried his heart out in front of her, she had never seen him like this.

She regrets whatever she has done to him till date. Six months ago, the stupidity she did and her obsession of Virat was the sole reason that four of them were suffering today but she wanted to fix all of that, she wanted to give a chance to her relationship with Samrat, but alas he was never ready to speak to her after that night. In spite of all this he fulfilled all his duties towards her, she remembers when she had fallen sick, he took care of her exactly like a husband would staying up all night, but she never gave him a reason to be happy, but now she wanted to give him every single happiness he deserved.

After a few minutes they realized their position and the surrounding, Samrat let go of her apologizing for his sudden emotional outburst. Both of them got up and sat down on the chairs kept in the corridor.

“Pakhi, thank you mujhe sambhalne ke liye”

“Samrat tumhe thank you ya sorry bolne ki koi zarorat nahi hai, hum pati patni hai aur yeh mera farz tha, in fact mujhe sorry bolna chahiye tumhe meri bewakofiyo ke liye jinki wajah se maine tumhe hurt kiya. I’m sorry Samrat” she waited for him to reply but all she got was “Hmm” in response but she was happy at least they spoke after months of silent treatment he had been giving her.

On the other hand, Samrat sensed a hope for their relationship but he was too scared to take a step forward for all he knew maybe she only wanted friendship with him or maybe this was another trick of hers to get close to his brother.

Finally, after two hours the doctor walked up to Virat, “aap patient ke husband hai right”.

“Ji doctor, Sai kaisi hai usko hua kya hai, subha toh bilkul thik thi” asked a frantic Virat. “Chinta mat kijiye zayda serious nahi hai, she’s absolutely fine now, unko kafi serious food poisoning ho gayi thi, shayad kuch ulta seedha kha liya hoga, humne sab flush out kar diya hai, so she’s fine now” the doctor narrated. The doctor told them that she will be discharged tomorrow morning and all three of them were arguing on who should stay back with Sai at the hospital, for the night. Finally, after a lot of convincing and arguments they agreed on Virat staying for the night while Pakhi and Samrat will come back the next morning when Sai will be discharged.

After Samrat and Pakhi left, Virat immediately walked into Sai’s room to check on her, she was still sleeping due to the weakness and the medicines. He walked up to her and held her hand, “I’m sorry Sai, mai pichle kuch time se tumpe dhayan nahi de paya, nah tumse dur reh pa raha tha nah tumhare paas aa pa raha tha, kuch samajh hi nahi aa raha tha ki mujhe ho kya gaya hai, par aaj jab tumhe aise dekha toh samajh aaya ki yeh humari deal wali shadi ab dil wali shadi ho gayi hai, mujhe tumse pyar ho gaya hai aur ab mai tumhe khona nahi chahta Sai, tum bas jaldi se thik ho jao phir hum ek nayi zindagi ki shuruwat karenge..” and on he went proclaiming his love for his wife but he was unaware that someone was listening to him.

Suddenly he saw Sai flinching and opening her eyes slowly, “Dada pani” she said with half opened eyes. Virat quickly fetched the glass of water kept on the bedside and helped Sai with drinking the water. “Virat aap yaha, mujhe laga tha ki Dada… anyways aapko lagta hai mai badbad karti hu aapse ladti hu Virat, boliye nah bolte kyu nahi aap, kahi apne fevicol toh nahi kha liya aapne haaaw” Sai said quickly picking on their previous conversation.

Virat was shocked would be an understatement, first thing this girl talks about after waking up is what he thinks about her, she remembered and picked on to the pervious conversation-soon-to-be-turned-argument that was left incomplete before she had passed out.

“Samajh gaya” Virat said slightly nodding his head left right left

“Matlab fevicol nahi khaya aur kya samajh gaye aap” she asked innocently.

“Yahi ki madam ki tabiyat bilkul thik hai ab, ladai ke mode jo aa chuki hai” Virat said trying his best to hide his smile.

“Aap mujhe pe haas rahe hai Virat”

“Nahi bilkul nahi, meri itni majal ki mai THE SAI JOSHI pe hasu, tsk tsk kabhi nahi”

“Haan haan theek hai, par aap yaha kyu ruk gaye Virat, aapko ghar chale jana chahiye tha, yaha pe toh proper arrangement bhi nahi hai aapke sone ke liye, aur yeh sofe pe toh aapko back pain ho jayega”

“Oh, hello mujhe back pain nahi hota samjhi tum, aur mai yaha kaise nahi rukta Sai, meri baiko ki tabiyat kharab thi mujhe toh rukna hi tha” he said with a sly smile on his face as he knew this would flabbergast her and as expected he saw her blushing a little.

Sai on the other hand was left speechless as Virat had never referred to her as his baiko so openly, she quickly composed herself and said, “Nahi woh mujhe laga ki aapki age ho gayi hai toh shayad sofe pe sone se back pain ho jayega, maine padha hai college me ki iss age tak aate aate yeh sab problems normal hoti hai Virat” Sai tried hard to remain her usual sarcastic self while trying to get back at Virat and get rid of the small butterflies that were irritating her since the time he called her his baiko.

“Oh hello, mai itna bada bhi nahi hu tumse” said an irritated Virat

“Mujhe kya pata Virat, aapki kaku hi kehti rehti hai ki Virat ne apne se double umar ki ladki se shadi kar li hai” Sai said imitating Kaku and also irritating Virat more

“Haan toh woh toh bas ek baar tha”

“Nahi Virat, kaku aaj bhi yahi kehti hai, shayad apki umar aur back pain ke saath apke kano me bhi problems shuru ho gayi hai isiliye aap ne suna nahi hoga, mai kya soch rahi thi ki hum already yaha hospital me hai toh apka full body check up karva lete hai, aur jitni bhi problems hongi sab pata chal jayegi” Sai said in a teasing tone.

“Uski kya zarrorat hai mere paas meri personal doctor-in-making hai woh saaaab check kar legi” this time Virat had a smug on his face as he saw her turn red.

“Mujhe nah needh aa rahi hai, mai so jati hu, aap bhi so jaiye sofe pe, goodnight” saying this Sai quickly pulled her blanket, closed her eyes and slept off.

Virat shook his head at her antics and then decided to catch some sleep so as to not be or even look tired tomorrow just in case his wife declares him a buddha tomorrow morning because of this.

P.S. Also, I’m not sure who came up with this dialogue here “Deal wali nahi dil wali shadi hai” but I really loved it so have included it in here.

And I always wondered why Sai never questioned Virat on his age and Kaku’s comment of Virat having married a girl double his age 🤣🤣

I know, man chi yahi chahti hu ki Samrat jaldi wapas aa jaye, so we get to see A LOT of Sai, Samrat, Virat, Shivani bua, Devi and Mohit ka masti

I have updated the next chapter so hopefully that answer your question about Sai falling unconscious suddenly. About the training bit thoda zayda patience rake I'll reveal it at a later stage. Baki mood pe depend karta hai 🤣
