Chapter 15

"Do you need to wait and watch that cruise like that Ridhi? It takes another 12 hours for them to reach here. Let's get some rest"

says the Alize with Ridhima who is watching Vansh' cruise from the deck.

Ridhima turns towards Aliza,

"I'm afraid of time... I mean, I'm afraid of not having enough time. Not enough time to understand people, how they are, or to be understood me I'm afraid of the quick judgements or mistakes everybody makes. You can't fix them without time. I'm afraid of seeing snapshots, not movies"

says Ridhima while turning back to the sea and watching the other cruise.

Tarzan looks at the team and go close to Ridhima and stand beside her.

"Ridhi, you never know beforehand what people are capable of, you have to wait, give it time, it's time that rules, time is our gambling partner on the other side of the table and it holds all the cards of the deck in its hand, we have to guess the winning cards of life, our lives,"

says Tarzan while gently patting her back.

Ridhima sighs,

"Isn't it funny guys? I here want to move on and yet think about them. Are they thinking about me even for a second? It’s always about timing. If it’s too soon, no one understands. If it’s too late, everyone’s forgotten. I don't know whether I entered into his life too soon or exited too late that neither he understood me and already forgotten"

says Ridhima while putting her head on Richie's shoulder.

"Ridhi, tomorrow Vansh is going to be near you. How are you to face him?"

asks Sher while Ridhima looks at him and with a resolution in her eyes and says,

"Who is Vansh?"

besides the rest whistle for her answer and Sher opens his arms for her while Ridhima hugs him.

The Next Day: -

The whole family is ready to move into another cruise after undergoing a thorough check-up once again. The last family to move is the Rai Singhanias.

"Wait, who is the last person on the list. We don't have any information on him"

says the cruise security officer

Vansh looks at whom he is pointing out and says,

"His name is Kabir. He is our employee"

making Kabir scoff yet he nods because he agreed for it.

"Then, he cannot get on this floor. All the employees of the mob leaders will be given another floor"

says the cruise.

While Anupriya intervenes saying,

"He is more than a family, so he needs to be with us"

making Vansh glare at her.

"Is it Mr VR?"

asks the security officer

Vansh nods due to which they open the gates of the passage so they can move from this cruise to King's cruise. Ishani is the first one to go awe of the cruise while Vansh is checking the floor he had provided.

There are no necessary changes between the two cruises but yes, the security is tight. Every leader has given their floor for the family while here he is given the 10th floor saying all the above belongs to Emperor and none should ever step into the floor without his permission.

The moment they enter they are mesmerized to see a house on the floor and got to know that every floor is a house while above them in every room is a single house.

"I'm fascinated towards this King,"

says Ishani while Angre glares at her

"Mrs Angre please be careful with the words you use towards King,"

says the helper making Ishani angry.

While Angre tries to give the tip to helper but the helper refuses and he informs Dr R will visit them in the evening once they are settled making Vansh more intrigued to see Dr R.

Ridhima is in-ring since morning and punching the bag constantly. One can say she is tired up yet she is doing what she needs to be done. Sher can see she is exhausting herself yet he allows her to do because he knows she wants to reveal her stress.

After a whole roller coaster ride, she will face the Vansh Rai Singhania today. He and whole the team is waiting to see how she would react; most importantly how VR will react seeing her.

He jumps into the ring and pulls her out of the ring while she tries to restrain him.

"Enough"

shouts Sher.

"Sher, leave me alone please,"

says Ridhima

"Ridhi, I understand but you said yesterday you will face this, then what happened?"

asks Sher

"I..." "I'm trying Sher,"

says Ridhima

"Then give 100%. Don't lose your energy now itself. We will be with you, Ridhi. Take it slow"

says Sher while giving her a side hug and in return, she smiles.

Vansh doesn't know what the feeling he is going through, however, he can say he is feeling uncomfortable. The peace in his heart is disturbing him. He doesn't know but he is feeling restlessness. There is something with this whole trip which making him feeling not so good.

"Boss, what happened?"

asks Angre

"I 'm feeling uncomfortable, Angre,"

says Vansh

"Shall we go back? I will call our chopper"

says Angre

"We cannot do that. We are in King's cave, we cannot move from here but then I wish we can. For the first time, I'm feeling things might not happen the way I plan"

says Vansh

"Boss, maybe the new place,"

says Angre while Vansh cuts in the middle and says,

"Make sure none from the family do any mistake here, Angre. We might not able to pay the price"

warns Vansh while Angre nods.

While Vansh and Angre are in deep conversation they hear the room bell making all alert. While Ishani is the first one to open the door and gets shocked to see the person standing before her.

"Ridhima,"

says Ishani audible enough for the rest of the people hear her name.

Vansh is the first one to react and reach the door of the room while Dadi with a smile on her face. Kabir gets shocked to see Ridhima in such a new way, like never before there Ridhima standing before VR family with a determination and smile on her face.

"How come you're here,"

says Ishani with rage in her voice

"I'm Dr R,"

says Ridhima making Vansh enraged with anger. He pulls Ridhima into the room and bangs the door.

"How dare you to betray us again?"

shouts Vansh

Dadi tries to intervene but Vansh shows his hand to stop her while he turns towards Ridhima again,

"How dare you Ridhima, didn't I said I will kill you,"

says Vansh while taking the gun from his pocket and puts at her temple.

While Vansh aims at her temple, Ridhima stands at the same place and locks her eyes at him with the resolution; as if asking him to shoot her making Vansh take back with her confidence.

Ridhima can sense his hesitation so she moves back and sits on the couch,

"Now, listen. I don't have time for the past. King asked me to treat Ms Rai Sighania. If you don't like, I'm ready to move out but then remember here only you get to see me as her doctor. No one else"

says Ridhima while trying to go away from the room.

It is Aryan who tries to stop her by holding her shoulder but then Ridhima twists his hand and makes him fall which is another shock for Kabir and Vansh.

"Never underestimate me Aryan. I hate backstabbers"

says Ridhima eyeing everyone in the room

"Also, I'm not the same Ridhima anymore. So be careful,"

says Ridhima and leaves from the room making the whole family feel "What just happened?"

Vansh is a dilemma regarding Ridhma. Did is she with the King? What the hell she is doing with the King? How come she is part of Mafia. He agrees to the point where she is the hurt who has hurt Sia but then he knows Ridhima doesn't like to hurt anyone. Being with Stewmaker means she needs to kill people, how come she agreed to do this? Is she being blackmailed by something but then again, he saw the happiness in her eyes. What's wrong with Ridhima?

He knows he needs to speak with the Debt Collector. However he also the know fact that he won't speak. So he has only one option that is Sher. He reaches to the security team and says,

"It's urgent. I want to speak with Sher"

making the team scared of his authoritative tone. While the other side, Sher along with the Lord is watching everything with a smirk on their faces.

"I'm happy, Sher,"

says the Lord

"Me too, Lord,"

says Sher

"Now go and meet Vansh Rai Singhania,"

says Sher while he leaves to meet the most awaited man on the planet.

Vansh is waiting to meet Sher while he is feeling restlessness about Ridhma being part of the group and Sher enters. This is the second time Vansh is meeting Sher. However to make the conversation more comfortable Vansh does something never did - to start a conversation.

“Vansh: We met in New York, remember?

Sher: Did we like each other?

Vansh: What?

Sher: Then why you are making me know you, VR. I know who you are and all. Now, what makes you come here?

Vansh: It's about Ridhima

Sher: What about her?

Vansh: Why is she here?

Sher: VR, if you need anything for yourself and the family, do ask. But to ask about King's team, I don't think you have any rights.

Vansh: She is my wife

Sher: Was

Vansh: Ah?

Sher: She was your wife, Vansh Rai Singhania"

says Sher by lightening a cigarette from his pocket.

Vansh reaches to Sher and gets hold of his collar,

"I don't know what kind of sick game is this where you have my ex-wife as part of the team. Calling every Don in the world at the same time and arranging his meeting, but tell the Emperor that if he tries to harm me and my family, I will come after him"

making Sher smirk while Vansh punches Sher.

Sher looks at Vansh angrily yet he controls himself,

"Keep your eyes open, Fireheart. Keep your ears pricked. Keep looking behind you. Because one day I'll find you, and then you'll be crow food"

says Sher while leaving.

Vansh holds his hands and pulls his back to face him,

"Leave Ridhima out of this game. She doesn't belong to this world"

says Vansh with his anger and frustration evident in his eyes.

“What a person desires and what they deserve are often not identical. So don't speak for Ridhi"

says Sher making Vansh pull him towards him

"It's Ridhima,"

says Vansh

Sher smirks,

"For me, It's Ridhi. She doesn't have any objection when I call her like that. As said before, don't show your power over here,"

says Sher pushing Vansh back

"Another thing Vansh, Everyone has wins and losses within the realm of love. However, sometimes a win becomes a loss, and most of the time, a loss becomes a win. But neither is ever absolute. However, your loss is our win. Next time make sure you respect her"

says Sher leaving Vansh in the puzzling situation for the first time in his life.

Vansh reaches back to his room and locks the door leaving everyone outside the door with questions to which he cannot answer. The only person who can answer him is Ridhima herself that what is she doing in King's team.

He knows he cannot meet her easily. But then he should try. He passes the security footage to see her in the upstairs. While he is walking, he is feeling that as if he got allowed to the upstairs rather than he fooled the Lord's team.

He knew he is in trouble but if Ridhima is, then he should save her. While he is passing through a room he sees Ridhima with other team members with a man tied. Vansh takes steps slowly towards the room to see what's happening and he witnesses something he never would see - Ridhima killing a man mercilessly while blood spilt on her face.

He stands still while Richie is the first one to witness him and says,

"Vansh"

while the rest looks at him. Sher tries to march towards him, but Ridhima stops him and walks towards him.

"What are you doing here, Vansh?"

says Ridhima with blood on her face

"How could you kill a person, Ridhima?"

asks Vansh

"Oh common, we both are under the same roof. We know how Mafia works. However, does it matter?"

asks Ridhima cleaning her hands

"It' not about me, it's about you. How could you kill a person Ridhima?"

ask Vansh

"Does it bother you?"

asks Ridhima

"Yes,"

says Vansh

"Then get habituated to it"

replies Ridhima

"So it's true that you tried to kill Sia,"

says Vansh making Ridhima pick the knife and point it towards his heart.

"You can think whatever you want. Because, no matter what I say, you will picture the way you want. So go ahead"

says Ridhima while cleaning her face with a wet cloth.

"This cannot be you,"

says Vansh while putting his hands on her shoulders and making her look at him

Ridhima smirks,

"I don't care how I am remembered as long as I bring happiness and joy to people around me on the cruise,"

says Ridhima coming out of his grip.

"Over and above, how come you are caring for me when you said I'm nothing to you?"

asks Ridhima making Vansh standstill. Yes, he threw her out of his house and thought to kill her, but today he cannot see his Ridhima, like this.

"Look Ridhima, maybe they just brainwashed you, Let's go from here. I will call the chopper"

says Vansh while dragging Ridhima; However, the latter comes out of his clutches shockingly and stands against him.

"Vansh, I know absolutely nothing about where I'm going. I'm fine with that. I'm happy about it. Before, I had nothing. I had no life, no friends, and no family really, and I didn't care. I had nothing, and nothing to lose, and then I knew loss. What I cared about was gone; it was all lost. Now I have everything to gain; everything is a clean slate. It's all blank pages waiting to be written on. It's all about going forward. It's all about uncertainty and possibilities"

says Ridhima making Vansh awe of her.

"It's Mafia Ridhima, you cannot handle,"

says Vansh coming out of his trance.

"You've no idea what I have gone through Vansh. Nothing can harm me anymore"

says Ridhima making Vansh more worried for her.

"Did these guys harmed you?"

asks Vansh making Aliza step forward but Tarzan pulls her back.

"No, they didn't. It's my decision"

says Ridhima making the team proud.

"Listen Vansh, this is how it is in life and love. In life and love we are with people for a while, and then we join other people, people we have not met, and we walk with them, and we leave behind all the things we used to be. Sometimes we leave people behind too... This happens every day. Every day this happens and scarcely anybody cares. And I don't know why suddenly you're showering me with the care"

says Ridhima with a shrug.

"I'm happy with my new life. Please let me live and do live. If you ever cross my path Vansh Rai Singhania, then I might kill you"

says Ridhima making him take back. This is what exactly he said when he threw her from VR Mansion.

"Karma is a bi***"

shouts Richie from behind making his hands turn into fists as he sees the three boys - Sher, Richie and Tarzan hugging Ridhima in a bone crash hug.

Ridhima never expected she would be speaking with so much determination before Vansh.

"I thought I would collapse in his arms, then how could I be so strong before him,"

says Ridhima aloud in her room.

"That means you're moving away from him, Riddhu,"

says the caretaker

Ridhima jumps from the couch,

"Ah, caretaker, at least let me know you are here, man. Don't do this"

says Ridhima with a pout.

"Wait, you called me Riddhu?"

asks Ridhima

"Why shouldn't I? When the team calls you Ridhi"

replies caretaker

Ridhima laughs,

"Okay, tell me how I was before Vansh?"

asks Ridhima

"Wanna hear the truth?"

asks Caretaker while Ridhima nods to it.

Caretaker takes a deep sigh,

"You entered into the game, Ridhima,"

says caretaker while making Ridhima twitch her eyebrows as she can sense seriousness in his voice.

"What do you mean?"

asks Ridhima

"Ridhima, until now you were being trained but now with the stance you took, it says you are part of the game which you started today,"

says caretaker

"Riddhu, you can't outwit Vansh by standing on the sidelines placing little side bets about the outcome of his way of planning. Either you wade in and risk everything you have to play the game or you don't play at all. And if you don't play you can't win"

says caretaker while observing her emotions.

"Are you saying until now I didn't play my game?"

asks Ridhima

"Yes. Your mind has been brainwashed by Kabi and later whatever Vansh showed to you. However, right now you are the controller of your car"

says the caretaker while Ridhima nods her head.

"Do you stand with me caretaker?"

asks Ridhima with hope in her eyes but then Lord says,

"No Ridhima. Rule number 1: Never ask the other person to stand with you. It should be you always. Understood?"

says the caretaker and cuts the call.

King is observing Ridhma emotions and who finally hit the bed to sleep however his mind is occupied with the question Ridhima asked.

"No, Riddhu. I won't be with you. But I will make sure you be me, Riddhu. Being nice is the worst thing a woman can be. Nice means you have to swallow your feelings and focus on everyone else's. Nice means you don't speak up when you're wrong. Nice means being a people pleaser and a conciliator and worrying yourself to death over others' opinions. Nice means never getting what you want... Authentic. Genuine. But now, I will make sure you live your truth. Let others live theirs. I will make sure you neither kiss anyone's ass nor be an asshole, either"

says the Lord to himself while closing the screen and jumping into the ocean to swim and relax.

Loved this riddhima.. And I believe vansh saw only a little version of this new riddhima and more is all set to cross the raisinghanias.. Specially kabir and vansh. Loved sher and vansh interaction... Vansh is still in his illusion that he hates riddhima... Late realization od something always cost your life...

And riddhima first target seems out to be aryan. 😂😂😂

Riddhima and her caretaker's interact does always attract me.. It's something thrilling and mysterious yet caring.
