Tbh, she already looks young to play a mother to grown ups, playing a dadi-nani will be extra weird I feel. But let’s see. Like you said it all depends on execution.

Yes, I would love the parallel between Preeti’s pregnancy to Juhi’s infertility. That would definitely be interesting to watch.

Yeah exactly. But I'm not saying right now either. But deffo in the future. And honestly, Rati is just blessed with amazing features and a fresh young face. But so are a lot of people. Sometimes you are shocked at people who look young, talking about their grandchildren. And she can just be one of those. I mean, if it can happen logistically and realistically, then I would want it to happen in the show. My mum could have been a nani at 40. Well 39 technically. And she still looks super young. People think we are sisters.

All I mean is that, looking young, is a blessing. Rati herself is not a 20 year old playing a 40 year old. She is a 38 year old playing a 40 something year old. So why the hell not. Obvs not within the first year of the show. But maybe when they cross the 1 year mark, it is a good storyline. I would want Juhi to eventually have a child. However it happens. Even if she chooses to adopt, which is another beautiful storyline.

This is where I disagree. Rati's future roles should not be hampered or dependant on the fact that she plays a dadi/nani to an infant. I mean the woman looks f**king flawless for a 38 year old. And the fact of the matter is, if the people can notice that she can play the role of a 40 something year old, but look like she is in her late 20s/early 30s, but actually is 38, they would be f**king stupid not to give her any future roles. The fact that she is so freaking versitile as an actress is an all round winner to be honest. This woman can pull off playing a 20 year old and a 40 year old. Why would anyone not hire her because her onscreen adult children had babies... which is completely normal btw.

I don't respect an industry like that. I thought that the TV industry was 100x better than the film industry. Clearly I was wrong.

They should look at talent.

Same. Don't want dadi-nani for Preeti. Rati is such a great actress but immensely underrated... she didn't receive the kind of shows she deserves tbh... Hitler didi became a typical, dumbo kind of show after a while, and she's only done like character roles after that right? Here's she's finally getting to play a lead.... ITV mein people get typecasted with certain roles. I don't want her to play dadi-nani right now... but who am i kidding? Jenniger winget played a nani in KZK 1 when she was in her 20s lmao, Shweta Tiwari was like Great-grand mother 🤣🤣

I deffo think a mature pregnancy track is needed. I think maybe for social awareness. It will be worth having that as a track. Complications due to age. The stigma. The backlash. The awkwardness. And grown up children. Just all of it. More and more women are getting pregnant a lot later on in their lives. So it's a nice track to have to make people understand that it's completely alright. I just hope they don't fluff it up. If there is a slight chance they will fluff it up then I would rather they just not do it.

I agree, a mature pregnancy track if handled well will be really amazing. Like you said, they should address the stigma attached to it, like badhaai ho. I deffo wanna see a nicely executed pregnancy track.

Also, i want a baby boy for KeerTi so she can at least have a son who will respect and adore Preeti unlike Tarun 😡... she already has a wonderful daughter, she deserves to have a wonderful son too.. so a baby boy for KeerTi 😆..

I think this could be one of the most awaiting track. They only need to execute it well.

Exactly!!! Rati is 38 guys. Others have had it worse. Her career will still go on strong as long as she has her fans and popularity. Only we can do that. We need to make her so popular that everyone takes her name first when casting for a new show... I'm not saying she's old at all. But she also isn't 20. So realistically. As long as there is no leap and the grandchildren are now 20 odd, we should be okay. As long as they keep the babies as babies. And slowly progress them into toddlers, and keep them as toddlers. We should be okay.

Ikr. Unfortunately her earlier shows were good character wise, but the show didn't work well overall..she was critically acclaimed for those very roles though.

She's doing a proper daily soap after a long time. I just want everything to work for her now as well as her future

I know. But that's how we think. Industry mentality doesn't work like this unfortunately. I sincerely hope SM does wonders for her as an actor
