Completely understand what you’re saying, and I hope the cvs are smart enough to not show domestic violence as a mockery. At some point they must show Omkar getting justice and repenting and making it up to Mayura, so the viewers are satisfied he doesn’t get away with any crimes. They should show Mayura getting the upper hand over Omkar and feeling content that she’s got whatever revenge she needed from him to be able to forgive him, as this will prove she is the better person.

But then at the end I want the writers to bring on the romance as after all it is only fiction, and sometimes I just want to watch a drama with cheesy love scenes! 😆

What kind of justice omkar need, forgiving a person doesn't mean we stuck with them for forever to prove us better person, and the kind of sins which omkar did is unforgivable showing abuser and victim love story is yuck we all know it's s fictional show but from start makers saying it's a social message show with strong msg and Mayura will be misal what kind of misal she is for girls

Dear girls if some obsessed crimnal throw acid on ur face than you must forgive them bcoz you are better person and even fall in love them become there life partner,if they wanted to show mayukar love Story than they don't needed to show omkar injured Mayura face in past in past they destroyed his character beyond redemption,

Honestly, nothing can really make omkar repent for what he did

Trust me I am not someone who believes in living in the past and grief and spend your whole life feeling guilty for something you did in the past but what he did wasn’t a small thing. If needed, I could even forgive him for the scar he made in her face because the scar in itself wasn’t that big or anything but he did a virginity test on her for god sake! And that too when she didn’t give consent to it I hope reading this makes you change your views a little. He isn’t just someone who made a mistake. He was very aware of what he did. A two finger test isn’t just a blood test damn it that they casually show it and forget about it later on!

I hate this whole concept of second chances when the person does not deserve it. If this was something new where the girl forgives what her partner AFTER he changes and gets together with her, I won’t be so bothered but this has been going on for years where the male lead gets away with anything with a simple sorry or just because “he realized his mistake”. Here, Mayura forgave omkar without him even asking for it. It’s so obvious that she is just using this revenge jaap to stay close to omkar. I thought she was different from other female leads when she stood up to omkar in the beginning of their marriage for every wrong things he did but I was proven wrong.

If they had shown that he could hurt the entire world but not her, then I guess their story could have been somewhat acceptable but they showed him abusing her too. If it was just a very possessive husband who learns to give his wife the privacy and freedom she needs, it would have been okay but he literally abuses and violates her. I just simply cannot like him after all he did.

I really hope you can watch the show from the beginning to understand the level of his psychopath-ness and why most people in this forum hate him to the core.

Yes you’re right because I haven’t watched it from the start I can’t totally understand all the hate towards him. There’s far too many past episodes now for me to watch to be honest.

Perhaps the cvs themselves have forgotten how bad he was? Or forgotten what their story was supposed to be about ? Because at the moment the storyline is showing ash trying to kill him and Omkar thinking of Mayura all the time even though he says he hates her and it seems to be on the lines of a hate/love track. That’s what got me watching it in the first place as I thought it was a sort of romantic drama.

The thing is, if there is so much hate towards him then they should show it. I feel Mayura should be the one to give him punishment, but like you wrote she is forgiving him and trying to help him, looking out for him, saving his life - even though he scarred her and did all those horrible things to her (omg did he really test her virginity? 😲)

So you see, unless the cvs change the writing and show that she herself starts to stand up for the wrongs that have been done to her, and how much she hates him, and properly teaches him a lesson, I won’t get to understand how evil he has been to her.

She keeps going on about the fact that the scar on her face is not as bad as the scar in her heart. I mean wtf ? that mean she’s forgiven him already for what he did to her face. She is constantly being humiliated and there were so many times where she could get her full and complete revenge but she doesn’t.

Instead at the moment I am seeing a lovestruck Omkar pretending to himself that he doesn’t care about her, and an overkind forgiving Mayura, who is somewhat of a martyr, and her father in law who keeps hinting to both of them that they’re actually in love. The only villain I see at the moment is not Omkar but Ash, and until they change the track or show flashbacks of how cruel he was, I won’t, like many others who didn’t watch from the start, completely understand the hate towards him.

They have not only changed omkar’s but also Mayura’ character. She wasn’t this forgiving before. She who argued with omkar relentlessly because he won’t let her treat male patients was ready to forgive him doing something as grave as abuse ...?

The writer look like they are confused on what to make this show. At first, they directed this show towards the audience who wanted Mayura to stand up and get justice for herself, they presented it like a social drama. But now, it’s all about romance and love for the mayukar fans. The writers from this show made a huge mistake by showing omkar that bad. I think someone said here that in an interview, one of the cast members were saying that omkar wasn’t suppose to be so bad. He was a anti-hero of sorts but not outright evil like shown in the episodes before.

It’s sad they even made Mayura forget about piyush who was murdered by omkar. Where is his justice? He decided to support the right and stood by mayura. In the end, he was killed by his brother who claimed to love him soo much.

The writers have to find a middle ground where Mayukar shippers get all the romance they want but also the audience who stands for justice for mayura get peace. One way they can show is her helping omkar with his mental issues or any other thing and slowly making him fall for her hard and in the end leave him, saying that she has forgiven him but forgetting what he did will be impossible. She doesn’t want to see his face everyday and get reminded of all the horrible things she had to face because of him.

His way to repent is if he lets mayura go and restart her life. They can get police involved and have him go to jail and serve his time in jail for domestic violence and finally getting out, letting go of the that horrible chapter in both of their lives. Of course, the makers will not involve the police but I would personally like it if he spends his time in jail for a few years to fully repent over his actions. That way, even he will not feel burdened with his past and he can restart his life too. Of course the guilt will always be there but not engulf his life in total darkness. For mayukar fans, yes they will not be together and that might be a sad ending for you but at least they will have much better life individually because let’s face it, they are a very toxic couple.

I agree to a certain extent but the hopeless romantic in me still ships them together.

Hope the writers do something about justice for Mayura, I suppose if he ever had to go to jail they could always have a leap and then they could be together?
