Chapter 14
Things had never been simple to me. I had always fought for what I want. But then, in the process of loving someone, I lost myself. I became an emotional fool. Is thinking from the heart is so wrong in this world? No, that is what I'm going to prove. I don't want to prove anything to anyone. Vansh or Kabir whoever it is tomorrow I'm going to face, I will play with the heart. Because the mind understands the difference between wrong and right, but the heart doesn't. The heart knows how to cross limits; this time I will cross all my limits. I might get cheated once again, but from now, I will be honest with myself. I will live my life on the terms I want thinks Ridhima sitting all alone in the ring waiting for Sher to jump in and start his training.
"Where are you lost?"
Sher hears Sher asking her while jumping into the ring
She smiles looking at him,
"In myself"
says Ridhima while Sher smiles back at her.
"Ridhima until now you have focused on the movements we do but going forward create your moves so that none can beat you in that,"
says Sher while punching the bag and making Ridhima do the same.
After 2 hours: -
Ridhima is wet due to the sweat while same with Sher. They both get on the deck of the cruise and enjoys the cool morning breeze while Aliza and rest of the boys join them. Aliza looks at serene face of Ridhima and feels elated,
"Looks like, you are meeting yourself,"
says Aliza while Ridhima turns towards her with a smile on her face,
"I'm trying. Might take some more time but yes I feel I'm going to meet myself very soon"
says Ridhima while others were happy to see Ridhima being content.
"Ridhima, we are with you. So don't worry"
says Tarzan by giving a side hug to her;
"I know Tary, you' all are with me. However, this time it's my game and I'm going to play according to my own rules,"
says Ridhima earning whistles from Sher, Aliza and Richie.

D- Day: -
Days are going while each moment is passing very rapidly. Ridhima has forgotten about Vansh will be also on the deck and working tirelessly at the same time, stress for her friends who can relate why she is working so much.
The world of Mafia is all set to get into the cruise. Everyone is in Mumbai and waiting for the cruise to arrive so they can able to step into it. Things are not easy for Vansh as he understood somehow he is under the radar of the man.
Kabir is checking every other Mafia don who came with families. He can see everyone are scared to step on the cruise. He has understood that the man whom everyone is saying is someone who cannot be taken lightly. Though they all have worn suits, they are frightened to step on, but still taking the risk because no one can dare to say No to him.
While they are immersed in thoughts, the cruise has started appearing on the port. They never thought they would be able to see such a cruise. What they don't know is, the cruise which they are boarding is an entirely different one. The King and his team travel on another cruise.
The bouncers stood up once the cruise has reached. Everyone is checking out the cruise as they are feeling, The Man is watching them and they don't want to commit any mistake. Every country Mafia don is being checked equally with their families. Everyone is standing in line while they hear gunshots which make them realize that Singapore Mafia Don being killed on the spot along with his family.
Everyone is shocked and enraged but, they see a screen on which they see Sher, the King's representative,
"Now, don't create a scene. He is dead because he has revealed to the world about King's age. We want to kill him in VR Mansion itself but as we already presented with one gift, we thought to give another one today. So be careful everyone. One thought of double-crossing the Badshah, you people will die along with the family"
says Sher while everyone stood with shock.
Kabir and Anupriya are petrified to see so much of the blood while everyone is passing the bouncers there were other countries Mafia dons too were being killed. Well, they have betrayed the Stewmaker by revealing to his set of enemies about the cruise plan. Ishani, Aryan and Dadi unable to see such slaughter acts. They know how Mafia works but this dark. The kids were also taken by them besides no one knows where he is going to keep them.
"How come a person's family should pay for the betrayal the Mafia don did,"
asks Ishani while Vansh says,
"In the eyes of the Debt Collector, man is the representative of the family. So along with him, his family should also die. However, here he is killing his people leaving his kids and wives. He won't touch woman and kids until they commit the treason against him."
"Then where he is taking their wives and kids? To a brothel house"
asks Ishani while Angre says,
"Ishani, please be quiet. None should question the Architect. Be careful with your words. We are next in the line."
While Vansh and his family reach to bouncers and goes through the checkup. The bouncer looks everyone and says,
"Top floor"
which makes Vansh look them with suspicious.
"How come we are given the top floor. Is it occupied by King I heard"
says Vansh with the authoritative tone while the bouncer smirks,
"All the floors are given by Lord himself, Mr VR. So get in."

Vansh along with his family has reached to the floor that was allotted while he can see how strict things were. Every floor they had their kind of security base beside one mafia don cannot enter the other floor without prior notice to the security head. If they fight or try to plot something against the Alchemist then they will be shot dead.
The moment Vansh entered into his room, he has checked every corner of the room in feeling King might have put any camera or sort of thing so he can observe her. He has this notion even at this moment that the man is watching him continuously. He then remembers about Sia and goes to check on her.
He can already see Sia settled on the bed with the help of few doctors.
"Where is the one who treats Sia. I want to meet that person"
says Vansh.
"Dr R is not here yet. She will start treating Sia when we reach to the cruise"
says the junior doctor
"What cruise you're talking about?"
asks Vansh
The security chief visits Vansh,
"This is the cruise which takes all of you to the cruise King stays. How poor is to think the Debt Collector would be on this cruise, Mr VR?"
asks the security chief with a smirk on his face while testing Vansh's patience.
"How much time it takes us to reach the cruise?"
asks Vansh with anger evident in his voice
"In two days, Mr VR. Until then we request not to mess up anything with your anger. Once you reach the cruise, the first thing we do is take Ms Sia near Dr R for the treatment. Until then these doctors will work under her assistance. Already Dr Malik has sent Ms Sia reports to Dr R, so she is heading the team"
says the security chief
"Wait, Dr R is a woman?"
says Vansh
"Any problem having a woman on the board, Mr Vansh?"
questions the security chief to which Vansh nods No and move out of the room.

Another two days she will be seeing Vansh and everyone once again. How would they react seeing her here? She doesn't want to think about such things, yet, she unable to stop herself. What she would say when he would stand before her? Will she turn into the same woman? Unknowingly she starts hitting her head to the wall of her room then she hears the voice she heard in the torture room - the voice of the Man.
"Hello, Ridhima,"
says the Man
"Unnamed? What are you doing in my room?"
asks Ridhima
"The cruise belongs to me, dear,"
says the Man
Ridhima chuckles,
"So what?"
"Interesting, ah! The last time I hear the fear in your voice and now something different"
says the Man
"Well, tides had changed"
replies Ridhima
"Oh, I see"
chuckles Man
"So why such honours for me, Unnamed,"
asks Ridhima
"I can feel fear in your voice Ridhima, so thought to see why are you afraid?"
asks the Man
"Wait, are you watching me 24/7,"
asks Ridhima
"No"
the Man lied.
"How could I believe you?"
asks Ridhima
"Well, up to you dear. I never asked anyone to believe me?"
says the Man
"Is it easy for you to not to care about other feelings?"
asks Ridhima
“Feelings are something I have; not something I'm. So I don't care what others think about me"
says the King having the wine while watching Ridhima on the screen.
"But how can you be like this? Like doesn't care for anyone? How come it is easy for you while for me..."
says Ridhima with pain evident in her voice
"Do you want to become like me, Riddhu?"
King asks gently
Ridhima for the first time heard him being so gentle. He has always been harsh or sarcastic with her while this time he is gentle. However, she felt the same gentleness before. Brushing her thoughts she replies,
"Yes."
"Riddhu, people are defined by their actions, not the feeling they carry. So don't worry what others think about you. Yes, you craved long but from the people who don't give you chance to explain. You thought to explain many times, however every time they don't give an ear and the time came they thought you betrayed them"
says King while having the wine in one go.
"For me, it is not easy not to think about others,"
says Ridhima meekly
"I know, Riddhu,"
says King
"You play and think with the heart. But you know what, you are stronger than anyone. Because the mind knows the difference between good and bad while the heart doesn't. The one who plays with their heart is more dangerous than the one who plays with the mind"
says the Debt Collector making her realize her feelings.
"Do you read people minds?"
asks Ridhima
"Maybe and maybe not,"
King says
"I felt the same yesterday morning. Today you are saying the same. I heard once from Aliza, we both are pretty similar within thoughts. Is it true?"
ask Ridhima with innocence in her eyes
"What if I say yes?"
says King
"How?"
Ridhima asks
"That's for later. Go to sleep now. Sleep is such a luxury, which I cannot afford"
says King
"Do you suffer from Insomnia?"
aks Ridhima
"Maybe,"
says King while having another glass of wine
Ridhima wants to ask more but she knows he might not answer her anything. She gets up from the place saying,
"Good Night, caretaker,"
says Ridhima while lying on the bed.
King turns to the screen,
"Did she just called me Caretaker? Did she just. Oh! Yes, I'm her caretaker. I'm"
says King with himself while beaming in joy.

2nd Day: -
Anupriya and Kabir are together in Kabir's room while he is pacing.
"Mom, do you think we can harm Vansh on this cruise?"
asks Kabir
"I don't think so, Kabir. I feel in return we would face problems. The way these Man people are much vigilant than anyone I have come across. We need to be very careful with our words and actions"
says Anupriya.
"What about Sia? The doctor will treat Sia and once she wakes up, then what?"
asks Kabir
"I will take care of her and let blame that Dr R,"
says Anupriya with a wicked smile
"No, Mom. Don't forget that Dr R is from Man's team. We are Vansh family now. The King might kill all of us together. So we need to be very careful with our steps"
says Kabir.
The Other side Vansh is set with his ideas of boarding another cruise. He already told his family that tomorrow morning they need to board another cruise. He can see far away from a cruise from his balcony. That cruise is way bigger than the one he is now. For every second passing, he is feeling some sort of peace in his heart which was present at the time Ridhima is with him. However later her betrayal caused much damage.
These days he is thinking a lot about Dadi words. The one who betrayed me is in the other room but Ridhima, he doesn't know where is she. He is not angry on her being a spy but being with Kabir she played so many games and in the end, she has harmed Sia. Now, that's something he cannot handle, someone cannot hurting his family.

Ridhima is standing at the deck of the cruise watching the other cruise. She knows by tomorrow morning the cruise will reach her and everyone including Vansh will be here.
After speaking with King yesterday night something in her has been changed. As if something her heart yearned to hear something from her. She doesn't know what effect it is but she felt so peaceful and surreal which she never felt when Vansh is with her. Though she brushed off her thoughts the peace is something she always wished to have for.
"Oh common, don't look at your Vansh like that,"
says Richie teasingly while the rest laugh at her.
"I'm not thinking about Vansh. I'm lost in the thoughts of the Caretaker"
says Ridhima.
"Who, caretaker?"
aks Aliza
"The one whom you all call as the King,"
says Ridhima making everyone stand on their toes
"Did you met him?"
asks Sher worried face
"No, Sher. Yesterday I was lost in some thoughts and suddenly I heard his voice in my room. We spoke about a lot of things and you know I felt we both are same; Also, while speaking with him I felt surreal"
says Ridhima with joy in her eyes and smile on her lips.
"It's good,"
says Tarzan with a worried look and fake smile on his face while others do the same.
