“If you would be a real seeker after truth,
it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things.”
“Why, Chachu? Why did you do this?”
“I am sorry Chachu. I hope you’ll understand why I am doing this and why it’s needed to be done.”
Riddhima said with a look in her eyes while looking at Kailash, that Kailash being an intelligent man understood this was needed to be done in order for the conspiracy happening in this house to come out and at this moment he is the target of a ploy. Nodding his head in understanding he gestured her to continue making a small smile form on Riddhima’s face while she continued with
“As all of you have heard its Inspector Kabir’s voice in this recording where he admits it was mummyji who had informed him about Chachu being the one who tried to kill Ragini three years ago.”
Riddhima said looking around everyone.
“What is this Riddhima? How can you even believe what Inspector Kabir said here and how did you even got this recording?”
Vansh said asking enquiringly to Riddhima.
“I got it. I heard Ragini speaking about it.”
Sejal said stepping forward and continued saying
“I knew no one would have believed us if we said anything otherwise so got this recording of that fake daroga. Also, it was needed because if he was lying it could be used as proof against him.”
Then turning towards Vansh, Riddhima said
“I agree Kabir had before as well many times had created troubles and tried to frame Vansh in false charges. He isn’t exactly reliable and trustworthy but let’s not forget where he had specifically said it was mummyji who told him about it.
Riddhima said turning towards Anupriya stressing on the word mummyji visibly making her go paler while Kailash was continuously glaring at Anupriya making her further lose colours of her face.
“Now he cannot say that huge of a lie knowing full well he could get caught and this time actions would be taken against him.”
Riddhima said after turning towards Vansh.
“What is all this Anupriya? You have told that inspector Kabir that Kailash tried to kill Ragini? Even if it is true then why hadn’t you opened your mouth all this while and even now before talking to Kabir at least you could have told us about this beforehand and before doing any of such thing.”
Dadi said scolding Anupriya
“Maa I…”
Anupriya started only to be cut off by Dadi asking her to
"shut up, for now, she chose to stay quiet before so could very well stay now as well because for now, she wants to hear her son’s stand on this matter."
Then turning to Kailash, Riddhima continued with
“So tell us Chachu why did you do this? After Dadi, it is you I trusted and respected the most in this house. I never expected something like this from you. Did you really do it?”
“Yes, Kailash what is all this?”
Dadi said coming forward and putting her right hand on his shoulder making him turn towards his mother
“Maa, Riddhima beta, believe me, I am innocent and I will prove it to you both and everyone else present here.”
Kailash said to both the ladies then turning towards Vansh he said
“Vansh tell me the date Ragini was hit.”

She hadn’t thought about things that could end up going down like this. The plan was to frame Kailash in Ragini’s murder attempt case but even before things could have started everything went drastically wrong. He’ll kill me. He’ll kill me, god, Kailash Rai Singhania is going to murder me in cold blood.
Anupriya thought frantically walking to and fro in her room. Things weren’t supposed to blow upon their faces like this. She and Kabir were supposed to plant few false pieces of evidence and create circumstances to make Kailash look like a culprit without him getting to know about it and then maybe put the entire blame on someone else like always maybe Riddhima or Ragini this time.
Now even before they could play their cards it is open not just in front of Kailash but the entire family. That stupid son of hers, she warned him to not trust these girls now look at what that Sejal has brought upon them. Kailash for sure is going to prove he is innocent with that her lies will be out in front of everyone. This time it’s going to be hard for her to get out of this situation. Even if by some miracle she did manage to get herself and her son out of this mess Kailash is not going to spare either of them.
The moment Riddhima played that voice recording with Kabir’s voice in it she knew they have landed themselves in a soup and by the time the recording was finished ashen-faced she stood with their doom quite clearly visible to her. Now she can just pray and hope for the best.

“Rane revealed the business details of the project that Vansh Rai Singhania started in honour of his mother. An orphanage that was supposed to be built on land, that an underworld mafia leader named Yusuf was eyeing who died in an encounter four years ago.”
Inspector Mohan informed the person sitting in front of him. Then looking on at Mohan Panday the individual understood the officer had more to say but for some reason was hesitating, encouragingly the person asked and said
“Go on”
Then taking a deep breath the officer continued with further information he came across to
“Yusuf wasn’t just eyeing that land he also had his eyes set on Sia Rai Singhania who was underage, a minor at that time. It was during one of his attempts to capture the girl that she lost her legs. Though she was saved from him yet the girl lost her walking ability. Rane was the one who orchestrated it and was helping him. At that time Rane was one of the very few people Vansh trusted hence he somewhat succeeded in handing over Sia to Yusuf.
So obviously Vansh was furious and as revenge/punishment whatever you may call it he put Rane in a mental asylum since using the connections and powers of Yusuf, he and Yusuf got scot-free from the court at that time. The threat was still there after that court case if not more than before so it was Vansh who played the role here in getting Yusuf’s criminal activities exposed which were under wraps at that time. Yusuf was on the run and Rane you know what happened with him. It was because Vansh exposed Yusuf many mafia people had been after him and few murder attempts had also be done on him in the past.”
The man said finishing it up with a sigh.
“What about Vansh’s role in the mafia? The world thinks him as a mafia leader.”
The person asked with its brows furrowed.
“About that, you were right when you said to keep an eye on everyone in that family. Yes, a mafia leader is indeed residing in that house, and the name on the papers of the person is Vansh Rai Singhania. Someone Interpol and RAW have been trying to trace for ages. What do we do?”
Mohan informed making the person’s face hardening up and then the reply came
“Do your job and find proof.”
Why is he even surprised? The person standing in front of him is sharp, emotional, yes but no emotional fool. Why does he keep forgetting who the person is? Intelligence, manipulation, being astute and that player streak runs in the blood. When the person standing in front of him said soon something huge is going to happen he wasn’t surprised since even he was having a hunch or one may call it intuition. Something huge was about to take place but never had he expected to get his hands on something as huge as this. Mohan Panday thought getting lost in his thoughts.
“Is that all for now?”
The person asked bringing Mohan back from his thoughts. Nodding his head in a yes Mohan said
“Alright, then will take your leave.”
only to get a nod from the person in acknowledgement. Just when he was about to leave he got stopped hearing the voice from his back saying
“Be careful and take care of yourself. An honest officer like you is a rarity now days wouldn’t want anything happening to you in this quest of ours.”
in concern and respect for him, his dedication towards his job and nation.
“As you said it’s my duty. I am doing what I am doing not just for you but also for my nation. That man deserves to be put behind bars. Even if I die it’ll be an honour it’s a dream for every soldier/officer to die serving for its nation.”
Mohan said with pride of a true soldier depicting from him.
Hearing him a smile came at the individual’s face sitting there in the darkroom. Then looking at Mohan in the eyes and holding his gaze with a smile still on the person said
“If you truly want to serve your nation, then dream to live for it and serve. What can a dead man do for its nation? An alive soldier is way more useful than the dead one.”

It had been a week since that fiasco all thanks to Mrs Anupriya Rai Singhania. He wasn’t angry at Riddhima as he knew the girl was only trying to help him. Thanks to her things came out beforehand and before Anupriya could do something major it was put to stop. Now he only needs to get the details of his whereabouts on that night with proofs if things go as far as involving police and court cases. Anupriya that woman had been creating troubles for far too long once this situation handled he’ll handle her as well might just get her kicked out of the house as well for good. For now, let’s go and finish this nonsense with a determined look Kailash walked into the hall with everyone present there. He looked around and took a sigh, and said
“Well, it’s not hidden from anyone what happened a week ago. So, here I am with the proof of my innocence. The day Ragini was shot I was not present in India. I was in London for a charity function organized by Little Heaven on Earth Foundation. I was there representing VR Industries. Anyone can check it since the event was telecasted live that day. Here is the video if you all may like can double-check it.”
Kailash said playing a video clip on the laptop in front of the entire family.
“I know most of you don’t believe it but it was needed to be done to avoid future unnecessary complications. I am thankful to Riddhima beta for bringing this up and into light in front of the whole family so whatever may happen happens in front of family and no misunderstandings happen in future.”
Kailash said with a solemn face looking at everyone than turning towards Anupriya he continued saying
“Most importantly it was needed for my lovely Anupriya bhabhiji. After all, it was due to her misunderstandings all this happened. Now I hope all your doubts are clear bhabhiji.”
Sarcasm was quite evident in his voice for Anupriya though not everyone else realized it with each word he said the deeper and stronger dread kept seeping Anupriya.
“Ummm”
She tried to utter something but before she could say any further a tight slap was given to her by Dadi. While it shocked the rest of the family Riddhima and Sejal who were standing side by side just turned their heads towards each other and shared a look. Both the girls trying to conceal their amusement from other members present there and with great difficulty succeeding in not bursting with laughter then and there.
“Your stupidity could have cost Kailash his imprisonment. Do you realize the severity of what you have done Anupriya? A statement likes that and that too from a family member could have some serious repercussions. If you had any doubts you should have told us before taking such a step. I told you that day itself. You are the eldest daughter-in-law of the house. Is this how you take care of your family? I always knew you never get along with Kailash but never interfered trusting you but this? You are always quick at blaming Riddhima for the slightest of things at the drop of a hat but what about you?”
Dadi blasted Anuriya not having anything else to say Anypriya said a
sorry
Kailash Chachu who was enjoying the show till now hardly able to control his own smile said
“Aree maa don’t blame bhabhiji for it. It was merely a misunderstanding there was another KSR that she mistook me for who was present that day near that area where Ragini was shot.”
with an extra sweet smile directing at Anupriya.
After the daily dose of drama, everyone went for their rooms but not before Kailash and Riddhima sharing a look and a smile.

Damn that Sejal. That brat I should have known better than to take her lightly.
That day when she called him to ask for proof of my claims regarding Kailash Rai Singhania being the culprit very smartly she tricked him into admitting that it was his mother Anupriya Rai Singhania who came up with Kailash Rai Singhania was the one who fired the bullet at Ragini theory.
Not only that, that sly b***h also recorded their conversation and presented it in front of the entire Rai Singhania family. Not just their plans had been exposed before coming to fruition but also his mother has been put in a tight spot where her intentions had been questioned for the first time. Kabir thought frustrated and angry at Sejal then talking to himself said
“Okay game still hadn’t been lost. I have what I need to destroy Vansh Rai Singhania. Sejal I can take care of her later. She’ll pay, this time I won’t make the mistake of keeping her alive but first Vansh. I just need to fasten few things up and Vansh would be there where I want him to be.”

The last few days’ happenings had left the eldest member of the family distressed. Sitting in her room with her sweet grand-daughter Sia Rai Singhania, Dadi tried to relax and wonder, just what exactly was the issue between her youngest son and eldest daughter-in-law? Not wanting to dwell on it she tried to distract herself and converse with Sia about insignificant stuff when Riddhima entered her room with a tensed face.
“Riddhima beta come inside. What’s wrong why you look so disturbed?”
Dadi asked with affection.
Hesitating for a moment but then strengthening herself with a determined look on Riddhima said
“Dadi, Sia I want to tell you both something. I know after hearing it you both might hate me but still, I will say what I have to since it’s important for the betterment of this family for few things to come to light before it’s too late. Dadi I…”
“What’s the wrong beta?”
Dadi asked getting worried for the girl in front of her. Taking a deep sigh Riddhima said
“Dadi…

Sitting in his office lost in his thoughts he couldn’t help but play the last few days' events in his mind. He knew there are people in this house who are just waiting for his downfall and for the right opportunity to stab him on his back. Sadly those people are his own family members and probably it is one of the major reasons he never trusted anyone completely except for a few. The reason why he never opens up in front of anyone except for a few handful ones that he can count with his fingers? People think he is blind to the faults of his family members and trust them even when he shouldn’t but that’s not the case far from it.
He knew his family members well for starters he knew trusting Rudra Chachu and Aryan is risky. He hadn’t been blind to Aryan’s jealousy yet he hoped his brother could rise up from it and be a better version of himself instead of involving himself in these petty games he plays. Then coming to Rudra Chachu he knew of his uncle’s desire to acquire his father’s business or the tensions between his Chachu, Chanchal Chachi, and Aryan because of it. He isn't unaware of his chachi’s dislike for him.
Then there is his mother oops stepmother Mrs Anupriya Rai Singhania who he knows is no well-wisher of either him or his family. If he is honest she did take care of him and his sisters for all these years even if it was for her own reasons which he is not aware of as of now. Also, her differences with his Kailash Chachu though he knew they have few issues between them but never interfered in it but looking at things now he wasn’t sure if he should stay out of it or be curious. Though he let everyone think including his mother that he trusts her but that had not been the case.
One may wonder if he never trusted his stepmother then why he did not kick her out till now. Well for starters he did not have any reason and mostly any proof of her treachery but above all, there is this promise his dying father took from him to take care of this family. So here he is doing just that even when at times it was he who got hurt in doing so. He became his family's shield and as we know even though the shield protects but it is the same shield that takes the blows and gets battered up. Though now he wonders about the connection between his arch-enemy Kabir and her. How did she knew him and since when?
Then comes, Ragini another person he knew is not trustworthy. Everyone in this house asks him wondering about his sanity for trusting and believing the girl who had betrayed him once and can very well do it again. Well, that is the exact reason he trusts her because he knows what she is capable of unlike his wife Mrs Riddhima Vansh Rai Singhania. Riddhimathe person with whom he shares the most complicated relationship of his life. Unlike Riddhima, with Ragini he knew what to expect from her she doesn’t hold surprises, unlike his wife.
“Tides are changing something is about to happen.”
Vansh said to himself lost in his thoughts than coming out picking up his phone he dialled a number and said
“Angre find out the connection between Kabir and Mrs Anupriya Rai Singhania.”
