It's legal to record or photograph people in public. The only way their actions are not legal is when the same photographer constantly harasses the same celebrity all the time.

She chose this life of a celebrity, so she has to suck it up.

So a person has no right to be angry when their privacy is invaded?

Come on babe, seriously? :(

I know it's not "illegal" - but that doesn't make it okay.

Even though Jaya Bachchan appears to be an angry little monster especially when she interacts with the poor pap guys - but are we really going to take away someone's HUMAN card just because they "chose this life of celebrity"?

It's an invasion of privacy. Her "celebrity" is just her job. She can be accessed fully at press conferences and events... BUT in her private life, with her grandson, during a WORLDWIDE COVID CRISIS.... she deserves the small decency of not being harassed while going shopping.

Makes me think of Princess Diana... she was a celebrity, she should've known that night.. and taken a different route... or hired more security. According to your logic, she deserved what she got...

Jaya B does a lot of stuff to irritage Big B ... i feel. She has it for him up to her nose...She says all kinds of things and let this guy make ammends and sometimes even apologize.

I might like her a bit for one thing...though there is no clear evidence of my belief , she seems to blame her husband than Rekha unlike other star wives. Rekha is so damaged with severe daddy issues...as usual our Liberal (News to me !) bollywood men exploited her.

Here's something you cannot do ... only ask advantages of a situation and complain about the hazards of it. Not many professions in this world where Fame is directly proportional to wealth.

If you or ur family are into product endorsements then you cannot demand privacy... if you are an artist and solely make money being an actor then you can say NO to inconvinient selfies and fan mobs.

Not true. They maintained enough space.

Jaya B is so stuck up and arrogant. We have known her hatred for the paps, but at the end of the day, it's a job and they have to do it to feed their families. She has no right to ask them to stop. Her arrogance comes from entitlement, as she considers herself better than other human beings. Despicable behaviour.

If she's so concerned about being identified and photographed, she chose the wrong profession. She should have done a regular job and not become an actor.

She’s like that teacher who would punish and shame you no matter what you do 😆

You have a point but she even yells at reporters in a press conference or event. She’s one of those people you can’t take seriously because she’s always yelling. So, whatever point she’s trying to make goes out of the window.

Has her upbringing been questioned or her parents' responsibility to teach her manners to make sure she doesn't cross the line?

She quit acting long back. She is no more an actor. When she was one, there were no paps so she wasn't photographed. What is the need of paps to photograph someone who doesn't like it and is not active in the acting business now? It's because the paps know that she will get irritated, shout at them and those pictures and videos will go viral and become memes. And jaya knows it too that paps do that for their own entertainment and hence gets more irritated.

Nothing wrong with choosing the acting profession and not wanting to get papped. That's not a main criteria of being an actor. Pap culture is just a new business avenue, not a necessity that comes with acting.
