I guess with popular remakes, it's probably because not everyone has watched the original ones. Plus, it's not as if the storyline is different for the ITV shows. The initial setup might start out differently, rest we all know how they are going to go. As long as characters make sense and drama keeps happening, TRP audience is khush. 😆

@bold Ya, it was the suicide drama that made the trp audience leave last week.. Custody & other Dhoom thana drama is their favourite.. This week TRP should be higher (without promo it's difficult still) because mandap drama is their most favourite🤣

@bold Anupama, Gum, Imilie all are remakes😆 I just read their plot on Wikipedia (since it's already available) & then no need to waste time on shows when you know where it's going & how it's probably ending😆

I hope though that they go back to making Pree a strong character, instead of this meek crying one. Right now, all the three SP shows which are doing well - Anupama, Imlie, Ghum Hai, they all have strong FLs. Maybe, just maybe, even TRP audience is tired of doormat characters. 😆

SP needs to work on its 9PM slot. For a primetime slot, cooker 2.0 is clearly not doing well.

TRP this week - 2.2 (highest for YHC till now)

Mandap drama always works with TRP audience😆

9PM has become a cursed slot. Nothing is working on any channel, only that long-runner KKB is sitting on top comfortably [not with great numbers, tbh]

Yeah, 9PM is a tricky slot. I think SP should have just kept YRHPK and brought on a fresh track, or a show with a stronger FL and/or better premise. The same old bechari routine is not going to work anymore, especially with the lockdown and people's tolerance for negative drama at an all-time low.

Do you think Anupama would've worked this well at 9 PM since YRHPK was working well at 10 PM?

Anyway, in all sorts its a win-win for SP atm with all the remakes working!
