LOL Spidie, I just caught up on the RK epis......they seriously showed Narayan himself giving darshan to Radha and she STILL didn't recognize that it's Krishna only?🤣......matlab come on, man....they didn't even use the excuse of showing him as a bright light.....same face ke saath he was there and still Radha was zoned out😆.

And precap mein lagta hai they will show some flashback of Barsana waale RK since Krishna is in his old Barsana outfit😆......and Ganesh bhi change ho gaye since they last showed him.....lol he was in his Bal Ganesh mode then.

Yeh Shirali wala keeda kya ab movies mein bhi aa gaya hai? WTF was that half sari outfit that Sara was wearing towards the end?😆......also, did she switch over to sneakers half way through the song? When it started, she was in platform heels, then suddenly she switched to sneakers😆

Why can't ppl have normal clothes in masala songs? Like the 90s songs ke costumes used to be wacky ones too but aise trying too hard types nahin lagte the😆.....the original Tujhko mirchi lagi just had Govina in his usual multi-colored pants and printed shirts and Karishma in those satin saris, no?😆.....wohi recreate kar lete......but Sara's clothes just scream like she's trying too hard with the designs....pehle woh fluffy si short frock type dress.....and then the weird half sari in the end😆.

Lol I guess it's easier for sara to dance in sneakers 😆 those platforms look like Kamara tod just looking a them so i was glad she took them off. I didn't liked that half sari of ajeeb kinds it is just a duppatta being wrapped like a pallu bohat ajeeb hai

Yup the costumes in 90's used to be so fashionable too and so glamorous that looked like one could wear then. Here they have gone extra ott with Sara ke costumes esp throughout this. The set looks too made up i missed the natural looking roads and crowds wala set this looks a bit too fantasy. The set is well made otherwise but it isn't matching woh raasta feeling of the song

About the song I did like 3 sets and though of doing a parallel to original too

Spidie, don't faint with shock....JEE HAAN yeh THE SSO hi hai who is dancing like this with Anika🤣 .....I know it's hard to imagine considering the current version of him you must be watching in early epis😆

Rofl i watched this with teaser only caz I love this version😆 how I wish it was longerl😆 but kya mast nache thay dono

I'm not saying that it isn't human to feel resentment if you feel you've been wronged and you want to "retort" or whatever.....but what's new is how people have started HAILING the back and forth of retorts as some kind of "justified response" to perceived slights.....each side thinks only their "retorts" are the apt ones and so the vicious cycle continues since no one wants to be the mature party and rise above the fray to look at the bigger picture.

And it's also unfortunate that all this has eroded the basic baseline of what acceptable behavior should be. Going through some kind of trauma doesn't give anyone the right to tear down someone else.....this is really a new disturbing phenomenon where ppl feel ENTITLED to misbehavior if they feel they personally went through some trauma.....the rush to judgement isn't new in human nature....what's new are the avenues being provided for ppl to do so.....that is what leads to situations like the SSR case which turned into a wildfire of tamasha overnight cuz so many avenues were provided for everyone to push their own agenda and grievances, find their own villains that satisfy their own bloodthirst rather than letting any process play out. End mein kisi ko bhi kuch nahin milaa....bas har jagah tamasha failaya and maligned the memory of the one who had passed.

It's like it's considered "insulting" and "weak" nowadays to try and show some dignity....lol ajeeb hai.

Word to all of this. The fact that in all the isnanity that happens nowadays if someone actually tries to be objective and tries to put a sensible pov they are bashed that you support the wrong party etc you are bimbo yada yada when one is just trying to pit some sense aaj kal Halla bol mentality ka raaj hai bas corner kiye jao and think ke pata nahi kya jeet li. It reminds me of Munaabhai wala scene of Nawaz and sunil dutt bohat ghussa hai iss kaum main kar doon inke Hawaii biwi ki daant se lekar boss ki phitkar tak har cheez ka badla tumse lenge as in log har waqt itna bhare pade rehte hain for one or other they just an outlet and they feel victorious by spewing venom on random things that are just so bizarre and useless and form their own conclusions in their heads and if things doesn't happen that way they get more frustrated and more resentful blaming the entire system without thinking rationally.

Hence they support the irrational behaviors of suman, sai jaise characters caz everything is acceptable. The thing is the losses or traumas aren't that dreadful for these fictional characters ro react like such piece of garbage they both lost their parents at job while on mission arre kisi ne jaan bhoojh ke toh murder nahi kia na it was meat to be this way but holding grudges against other people who have nothing to do with it and holding them as criminals oh puhleez get a brain

I checked out the first epi of that Shaurya and Anokhi show on Hotstar.....the one with the MCP ML.....I liked the FL's character....she's surrounded by MCPs.....father bhi MCP hai, aur yeh ML bhi MCP hai but she stands her ground to live life on her own terms.

Debate scene in the first epi was good as the girl blasted the ppl talking about how gender equality has been achieved cuz girls are "allowed" to enter various fields now.........baaki I dunno how long it will last until this girl will end up married to MCP.....lol

You know, it's funny....this is the year 2020....and how I wish I could say we can move beyond these concepts now.....sadly duniya mein MCPs badhte hi dikh rahe hain, kam hote toh nahin dikh rahe.....so I guess these stories will still keep getting made no matter how "progressive" ppl think things are now so this debate is moot.

ML is pretty blahh so far waise.....but family waali cast is filled with solid actors....Alka Kaushal bhi hai....QH waali epic vamp😆.....aur woh SGP waale Ishaan ke dad.....also that guy who was Zoya ka dad in QH I think.....or maybe I'm confusing him with some other guy.....lol this guy also played Megha ka suitor in NBT....lol

Now each Govinda 90s song feels like a GEM😆.....like some endangered artifact that can never be recreated so we cherish it more now😆.

Varun-Sara are trying but I think main struggle is the disconnect vis a vis trying to do something that is 90s but the costumes and moves not flowing that well.....it's not that they both can't dance....and some moves they did well too....but the thing that worked for the original song were the close-ups vis a vis the expressions and the body movements ka flow.....that is what's missing in the attempts to recreate.

What's funny to me is that Sara totally did fine in the Aankh Maarey remix which was also a 90s song remix but it flowed there.....everything from the steps to the costume wasn't about trying too hard....bas ek flow mein tha.....here they've gone overboard in the costumes/sets and sort of lost the base vibe.....lol

In Sara's defence I think she was really good in haan main galat too in that too she had more flow and screen presence 😆

I just feel this particular movie she is struggling with idk why maybe she needs more time to get it to perfection like woth aankh maaray the girl got a lot of time also pehla gaana tha. Here she seems out of her comfort zone with those God darn heels Ll the time but was actually really good in that bhabhi song in her lil appearance too one noticed her yeh sab extra fancy isn't working for her it is like her feet get glued to the floor🤣

@bold: Yes that scene spoke to what mob mentality is about.....that ppl become irrational when they are in mob mentality mode and just want to lash out at whatever thing or person is in front of them. These days all this is happening on a quicker/easier scale cuz social media is giving ppl the ability to give in to mob mentality more easily.

Re: trauma....people are definitely extrapolating their own emotions onto fictional characters to justify all kinds of things....that is what's problematic. Aisa nahin hai ki we are sitting here to decide kiska trauma kitna deep/valid hai.....the bottom line is that trauma doesn't give you the right to misbehave with others in such an entitled manner, period. Misbehavior could be forgiven if it was a one off thing....but aajkal log toh constantly misbehave karte hain and the justification is given ki this person went through some trauma so they are entitled to say whatever the hell the want to anyone....that's bullshit.
