Two mediocre actresses, one of who was the 1st KJo project.

Madhuri worked darned hard for her own success. She can dance well, too. And unlike Kajol, she doesn't confuse shrieking with emotion.

Among the 2, Madhuri.

I voted for Kajol accidentally and don't see a way to change.

Madhuri Dixit. She is good in fiesty women rights roles like Beta, Mrityudand, and she is very good dancer, she looks beautiful. Kajol does act well in the modern woman roles but lacks in serious roles, dance and looks.

Both have their strengths and weaknesses: Madhuri's strengths are looks, dancing skills, while Kajol's strengths are her expressions and ability to underact or overact, depending on situation.

While their weaknesses vary (Kajol can get very unbearably OTT (K3G comes to mind) while Madhuri can be flat in some movies (like Aaja Nachle). They pretty much rank the same on dialogue delivery and other aspects generally.

I personally like Madhuri better overall, but Kajol has been a big part of some huge blockbusters and her contribution to them can't be denied.

I agree about Madhuri, but I also find Madhuri very expressive and Kajol too OTT. Madhuri brings a lot of grace and finesse to her performances, she may not be a great actress but she brings the right amount of expressions. Where she falters is emotional gravitas-- she is unable to pitch in the desired amount of depth. It's more on the surface. Kajol is good at emotional pitching, but she goes overboard. I hope I am expressing it right.

Kajol. I don't like Kajol's recent acting, she's so screechy and ott in everything now. But she was good in the 90s, and some of her roles like KKHH are genuinely very good.

Madhuri I have hardly ever been impressed by her performance. But she is a better package than kajol overall

I feel both were kind of overrated, but acting wise Kajol is ahead... Mahuri was only really good in Devdas and Lajja tbh, all other films she was average or maybe just above average imo

It's so hard to choose. Both would be in my Top 5 of all time. Alongside Sridevi, Tabu, Nutan.

I've always preferred Madhuri more, but her recent few films have been letdowns, whereas Kajol's performances even in recent bad films like Dilwale and Helicopter Eela were still so good.

they all were so good in every department be it acting dancing or comic timing they even did negative characters and ace it

our 90s day we were actually bless with amazing actress it was enjoyable watching their films
