Yes

He knows she is a self respecting girl who really doesnt care for his money or status or its trappings. despite all that he is insecure he will lose her. He knows who ever SHE will pick on her own, her parents will throw their full support behind that person

He can see he is only a consolation prize in the eyes of her parents. Thats got to hurt

Not to put him in his place or anything, Sudhi. But his Dad actually told him to reheat food from the fridge. So he realizes he is just chopped liver.

akash's motive might have been to treat him like "ghar ka bacha"

But to him it seems like he is just a regular guy and the "eliteness" that he thought he brought to the table is truly no advantage

Anu thinks dadi was making her feel inferior because she doesn't have sons. Garima is feeling inferior on other issues. Dadi is just pitting them against each other and enjoying the show.

Akash is right in a way. Can't let a mother in law stop you. Anu never got approval from hers. Mother daughter in law issues are as old as time.

That thought crossed my mind Nisha? Did he like really ask raanav to heat up food and generally feel home? But then I confused myself if he was directing it to Veev or Raanav ? Good you clarified.

I've been here and there going around like a headless chicken and there's nothing more than I need now to just throw everything out of the window , put my feet, chill , read and listen to music !!!!

Yep all this in two days time! Waiting for the break to do Nothing!!!

I just realized last night after the last chapter that this marriage is between a socialist and Marxist!!!! Viveka should remember this !!!!

A Class conscious guy who brackets proletarians. Can fall in love, can keep the entire family out determined to get that love to fruition.

But if every class conscious guy were to marry only if he were to get along with everyone on board, then class would loose it relevance in the scheme of things.

A dialogue from page 3 movie comes to my mind, you have to be in the system to reform the system !!!

Also Viveka should ask Anubha if akash's mother was fully on board with her parents marriage?!!

Oh no Kalpana

Hope all is well. I am waiting for my two week break as well. And waiting for a better more relaxed job where I am not constantly under scrutiny for every key stroke

I am sick and tired of it.

We are all waiting aren't we. I saw a tiktok this morning, which basically said

"Between 20-65 we work more and work longer and be more miserable and feel more pressure, so we can retire at 65 and spend the next 10 or 15 years of our life, mostly chronically ill life in a fun way🤬

I ask myself what are we doing?

WHY do we take so much crap from people?

If we do 500 things during a work year and screw up on 10, the whole year of good work is never considered sadly.

Yeah I am looking forward to the break greatly as well.👏

Just a bunch of things Nisha. Work load's heavy even for this time of the year , so late evenings and then some stuff at home . All parents are leaving home Saturday . Hubs traveling with them too as we Felt it's better to accompany the elders with all the COVID chaos going on. COVID paper work requirements differs from state to state . Then the airlines require some paperwork as well apart from the regular testing. Went for the RT PCR test within the 72 hr window couple of hrs bk. Hoping the results go well. Then some shopping demands from people back home. A couple of cousins generally go crazy with their demands and it's no different this year too.

Generally exhausted and a little irrirared, a lot anxious as well....guess I'm just venting. I keep reminding myself to count my blessings but some days get the better of me.

Break will be great. Wish you a good one too. Happy holidays for all of us.

aww ... virtual hugs. Safe travels to parents and in-laws. Mask, shield, packed food from home - they should be good. Good that your hubby is also traveling with them. Good luck. I know the paperwork is killing and you can’t avoid the anxiety.

Happy holidays and enjoy the break.
