A family of four

How conveniently, Kaira and kairav said that their family has 4 people. A few days back only, Kaira adopted Krishna and they were discussing that they will never discriminate between their three kids. Now they have left Krishna in goenka house. They are never even shown to miss or mention her. What great parenting this is.

Exactly my point !! How come they have a family of 4 members . Isn't it actually 5 members family and they put correct number of candles. Even kartik naira supported kairav .. and naira was about to remove the extra candle .

They could have shown them vedio calling her and involving her in celebration . They could have made her aware of the situation . Afterall she is samajhdar enough to understand and hide the matter from the family. Poor naksh would have had someone to share the happy news .

I meant to say that even if they couldn't take her with them due to school reason . She could still be a part of there happiness n celebration .

How can the creatives be so illogical. Kaira should have let some other family adopt Krishna. They could run a background check on the family for safety purposes. This way atleast she would have gone into a family where she would be highly valued. Here dadi will make her life hell. Plus Kaira will leave her anytime according to their convenience.

Kaira have the familial empathy & emotional intelligence of a peanut.

This is the same girl they ignored & punished Kairav for and stressed their family out. Manish says everything with a ton of classism/sexism but the core of his argument is almost always right.

We as viewers realize these flaws in the storyline. Do actors or directors never point these out while shooting 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

That was such a stupid excuse. Kairav has been to 5 schools in one year. They could have included Krishna by making her attend her classes online. That's a reality that was served to the production on a platter.

Btw how is vanish. I have missed some episodes, so that's why I am asking. Is he able to walk and is he getting better. Nobody at goenka house seems to care about him too.

Fact is, her character was extremely disliked by the online fans and trp suggested that even tv audience didn’t accept her.
Adoption track was a mistake & the only way to rectify it was by sidelining & eventually writing her off.

Even Gayatri adopted a girl during Akshara’s time who was then conveniently sent to a hostel.

Inconsistencies in storylines are annoying but in Chori’s case, I honestly wish they continue it this way. That character literally sucked the life out of the show & had no chemistry with either Mohsin/ Shivangi.

That's true but at least that story was good. It was well written, executed, & written off organically. She can be assumed as something like Salman's character in Baghban. Provided for, legally adopted, comes by sometimes, but isn't really a part of the family unit.

But Chori's story was just so bad. International human traffickers, Kaira making tall claims of becoming her emotional home, Chori filling the void left by their lost daughter, spending so much time on forcing Kairav to accept her.

It is a huge lost opportunity due to bad execution.

Exactly, which is why no one was able to connect to her character, the storyline or Kaira.

It was obvious from day one that they were only adopting her because they pitied her, having lost their own daughter. There was no proper development to the said connection that Kaira felt towards her especially kartik, who was annoyed at her one day & wanted to adopt her the next moment.

That track was probably the worst one for “Kaira”, since both appeared extremely selfish & insensitive to the people around them. It was more about making a point & getting what they want rather than actually providing a family for the girl.

Think about it, they very well knew that Dadi and Manish would always treat her as an outcast, yet they adopted her without even informing anyone. I am not justifying Manish or Dadi, but decisions can’t be imposed on others in a joint family. They weren’t even concerned about the effect it will have on their own son.

Wouldn’t it have been better had they showed Kaira finding a suitable family for her, one that actually wanted a child instead of holding a pity party & lecturing everyone about molarity & right/ wrong and acting all self-righteous?
