Sai was back in Virat's room, after he had apologized to her. He thought she will not understand, but she did, no fight, a calm Sai who was quiet and about to sleep.
Virat wondered " whats wrong with her. aaj isse ladai nahi karni, yaa aaj ka quota is full" . He slept on the right side while Said on left.
In morning Pakhi, left CM. Everyone was back at square one blaming Sai for the same. Virat knew Sai was not wrong this time, but to bring peace and harmony in his home. He requested Sai, to bring Pakhi back and next day she was. All family was happy again, but Virat knew somebody was not happy.
Pakhi said " Thank you Virat , mujhe apni zindagi mein wapas lane ke liye". Virat replied " kyunki mujhe mere best friend ki zaroorat hai jo mujhe sumjhe, bina koi argument kiye" . Though his indication was toward Sai, that he wanted from Sai - to understand him without any argument.
But here she was all calm and left for her room. She got to know about receiving 100% scholarship. Though she was happy, but none in family would be happy to hear that.
Today again, she left CM without informing anyone. TMK ignored her this time. It was peaceful at dinner. Virat left table to have some important talk with his best friend when he was really happy she was back.
It was at 11:39 he went back to his room, to notice Sai missing there. He searched the whole house, but she was not there. Then he reached the terrace to find her gazing at the stars. He asked " tum itni raat ko yahan akele kya kar rahi ho". She replied " dikh nahi raha, tare dekh rahi hoon. Soch rahi hoon kash mein bhi inke jaise azad hoke chamak sakti"
Virat understood what she wanted to convey. He left her at terrace to be back in his room.He noticed two slips of hostel fee for 1 year on her study table.
Virat in morning at breakfast said " kaku, mein aapse kuch kehna chahta noon". TMK nodded and he continued " mein ek bade mission par kaam kar raha hoon. jisme bade bade neta, gunde shamil hain. mein nahi chahta ki meri wajah se kisi ki jaan ko khatra ho.isliye mein aur sai police quarter mein shift hojayenge". TMK happily agreed.
Pakhi said " aur mera, I mean humara kya hoga Virat. " He retorted " best friends phone pe bhi baat kar sakte hai"
He signalled Sai to pack her bags. In evening they arrived at police quarters. Sai arranged her books on study table when the hostel rent receipt fell . Virat picked it up and said " you wanna know hum yahan kyun aaye hai" . She replied " aapke mission ki wajah se aur kya"
She was about to leave, when Virat pulled her back in his arms holding her tightly and said " woh toh family ke liye farzi mission tha. asli mission toh yeh tha ki mein nahi chahta ki tum mujhse dur raho. Ab tumhari badbad ki aadat ho gayi hai. tumse ladai kare bina neend nahi aati ab mujhe . Isliye yeh mission zindagi bhar bhi chale toh koi afsoos nahi. aaj mein tumse ek promise karta hoon, ki mein kabhi tumhara saath nahi chodunga, humesha tumhe support karunga aur kabhi koi tesre ko humare beech aane nahi dunga" releasing her from his clutches.
Sai was blushing and left the place quietly and he smiled thinking to shine like star and be free, Sai needs to be freed from toxic atmosphere of his family. Only then she can fulfill her dreams and shine like a star. And if a promise is required for that , so be it.
