Manikarnika director Krish slams Kangana Ranaut 'one last time' on Samantha's show
Director Krish Jagarlamudi, on Samantha's Sam Jam show, addressed the Manikarnika controversy and Kangana Ranaut's interference one last time. He appeared on the show with Rakul Preet Singh.

Krish Jagarlamudi talks about Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika controversy one last time on Samantha's show.
Director Krish Jagarlamudi, who had a fallout with Kangana Ranaut regarding Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, has opened up about the controversy for one last time on Samantha's talk show, Sam Jam. He appeared on the show alongside Rakul Preet Singh. Speaking about the controversy, Krish said that he feared that he might remain unknown to the world.
WHAT DID KRISH SAY ABOUT KANGANA RANAUT?
On Samantha's talk show Sam Jam, Rakul Preet Singh and Krish Jagarlamudi are the guests for the episode that will be dropped on December 18. Recently, a promo of the episode was unveiled by the OTT platform Aha, in which the two stars spoke about the controversies that haunted them.
When Samantha asked about what happened with Manikarnika and Kangana Ranaut, Krish said he wanted to speak about it for the last time. "I want to speak for one last time. Kangana and her team watched the film and I got a call after two days. My only fear was that I might remain unknown to the world. As artists, we can only show our potential to the world when we get the right opportunities," Krish said.
KANGANA RANAUT VS KRISH JAGARLAMUDI
Back in 2019, Kangana Ranaut took over Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and re-shot a lot of portions. She shared the co-director credit alongside Krish Jagarlamudi. In several interviews, Krish expressed his displeasure on Kangana taking over the film from him.
In 2019, Kangana Ranaut claimed that she directed 70 per cent of the film. Krish said that Kangana was lying. Krish, in an old interview, said, "Kangana is lying. Clearly, if you look at the messages she sent to Vijayendra and still stored them, seems that there was a plan in her mind to take over and present these later in her defence. So, that it doesn’t look like an after-thought."
Krish also revealed that he had finished editing the film. "She returned, saw the film and said that she liked it. She, however, added that she had few small concerns. After a few days, she said that iska jyaada hai, uska jyaada hai, this girl is overpowering, that girl is overpowering. Then she came up with yeh change karna hai, woh change karna hai. She also said that Kamal Jain (producer) hadn't liked the film."
Kangana had told Krish and his version of Manikarnika looked like a Bhojpuri film. Tired of the controversy, Krish ended the fight saying, "Kangana and I are both not going away from this industry so soon. I will direct many more films in future and so will she. People will know who stands where. I am sick and tired, of Kangana and the whole controversy."
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi released in 2019 and opened to mixed reviews from the audience and critics alike.
