Balika vadhu showed issues like polygamy and child marriages as social evils that ruin young girl's lives..... on the contrary other colors show that have polygamy nowadays are there just for romance and drama, not for social commentary on social evils. That's where it becomes glorification, when the intent is not to actually show that a social evil is in fact just that, but rather just to add an angle of drama and angst into a love story.... it was vomit inducing when they showed this track in dil se dil tak.

Jaya ma'am had mentioned that Omkar's character became much darker that what was originally planned. And before the show began MayuKar's equation was marketed as a story of nafrat and junoon(it's there in Sahil Uppal's IG). So the makers are now in a fix of their own making they can't decide if they want to be a social drama highlighting women's plight or a complex love story or hate story whatever they were planning to be at first.

Coming to Mayura, I think the makers are so invested in Omkar and how smart and powerful he is (and also emotionally confused about his feelings for Mayura) that they are messing with Mayura's character now. Wanting revenge and wanting to change a person are two different things. I dont about others but I am confused about what Mayura wants now. I understand why she saved his life. But I need a bit more clarity on where she is going with her revenge plans.
