My sweet heart is only you Part 1

Dedicated to SnehaPandey176 who suggested a college story on VaNi.Dedicated to whitleyGurajena who suggested a college story where Bani dislikes Veer who loves her,but gets jealous seeing Veer with another girl.

A college classroom…

The teacher was lecturing and a sweet girl was writing down notes.She was none other than Bani.A boy who was sitting next to her was watching her without blinking eyes.

“Veeranshu”,the teacher called him.

He came back to his senses.

Teacher:Why are you not taking down notes?Where is your concentration?

Veer:I am sorry Ma’am.I am writing…

He took his pen and started writing,

After the class got over,

Bani:What is this Veeranshu?These days you are not focusing on studies?Now even the teacher caught you.

He thought:What to do?When Bani is near me,I don’t see anything else.

Bani:How will you finish your notes if you are like this?

Veeranshu:When you are there why should I worry about notes?

Bani smiled at him.

Flash back…

Veeranshu was riding his bike.He saw Bani standing at the bus stop waiting for the bus.Veeranshu stopped his bike near Bani.

Veer:Bani!

Bani was surprised:Veeranshu!

Veer:So you remember my name even though we met only yesterday.

Bani:Come on.We are sitting next to each other in class.So I will be remembering your name.Right?

Veer:Ya.Anyways come and sit on my bike.We will go to college together.

Bani:No thanks Veeranshu.It’s fine.I will catch a bus and come.

Veer:Bani…we are benchmates.Anyways I am going to the same college.So what is the problem if we go together?

Bani:But…

Veer:Don’t be hesitant.We are friends.

Bani smiled:Ok.

He smiled.She sat on his bike behind him.

The previous day the college opened. Veeranshu and Bani met each other .But after the lift they became friends.

On prom night Veeranshu and Bani decided to be dance partners.

Veer-Bani started dancing together.

Veeranshu was becoming more and more attracted towards Bani while Bani started feeling awkward with his changed behaviour with Veeranshu.She could not help herself from questioning him.

Bani:Veeranshu,what’s happening to you?Why your behaviour is awkward these days?What’s happening to you?

Veer:I am suffering from a disease Bani.

Bani was shocked:Disease?What disease?

Veer:Love.I have fallen in love with you Bani.You are my sweet heart now.

Bani was shocked.

Bani:I thought that unlike other boys you are sensible.But you are an irritating love sick puppy,Disgusting.Don’t come near me again.

Veer was shocked.He held her hand.

Veer:Bani…what are you saying?

Bani:How dare you hold my hand?Get lost.I mean it.

Bani just walked away taking off her hand roughly.

Veeranshu became upset.

Veeranshu became more upset as Bani changed her seat..

Veeranshu went near her.

Veer:What is this Bani?Why are you not sitting near me?

Bani:Because I don’t like sitting near a love sick puppy like you.

Veeranhu got hurt.

Veer:Sweet heart…one day you yourself will long to sit near me.

Bani:Never!

She walked away.

Bani kept avoiding Veeranshu while he was always after her calling her ‘Sweetheart’.

One day Bani blasted at him.

Bani:How many times I told you to leave me.Why can't you understand?

Veenanshu:Sweetheart...how can I leave you like that?You are my sweet heart.

Bani got irritated:Sweet heart...sweet heart...can you please stop calling me like this?I am fed up of hearing this.Find someone else and call her sweet heart.Move on.

Veer smiled:If I find someone else and call her sweet heart,won't you feel jealous?

Bani:What nonsense!Why should I feel jealous?I will be relieved that finally you will leave me alone.

Veer smiled:Let us see.

Bani:There is no use of talking to you.

Bani waked away.

Days passed…

A stylish girl entered the college.Veeranshu went near her in excitement and hugged her.Bani who saw this was shocked.

Veeranshu:Hi Mayuri…I was waiting for you to come.I really missed you.

Mayuri:Me too.I was waiting to see you Veer.

Bani became dull.

Mayuri:I am nervous also as it’s a new atmosphere.

Veer:Don’t worry Mayuri.I am there with you.

Mayuri smiled.

Bani got irritated.

Mayuri was Veeranshu’s childhood friend who joined the college now.Veeranshu and Mayuri sat together in the classroom.They always cracked jokes and laughed together.They always spent time together.Unknowingly Bani was becoming jealous.

Once when Bani was passing by she saw Mayuri and Veer talking o each other.

Mayuri:Veer,you also come to the discotheque.It will be fun.

Veer:Sure Mayuri.

Bani became dull.

Bani:Oh no…Veeranshu and Mayuri are going to the discotheque.They will dance together.

She remembered her dance with Veeranshu at the prom night.

At night….

Bani was becoming restless thinking about Veer about Mayuri.She imagined Veer-Mayuri intimate dance and went crazy.

Bani:No…how can Veeranshu dance like that with Veeranshu?

Automatically she dialed Veeranshu’s phone number.He was surprised as Bani rang him up.

Veer:Bani!How come you called me?

Suddenly Bani realized that she rang up Veeranshu.

Bani:I..I…where are you?

Veer:I am at the discotheque.

Bani:Are you dancing?

Veer:Yes.

Bani:With whom?

Veer:I am dancing alone.

Bani was relieved.

Bani:Why you don’t have any partner?

Veer:I am used to dancing alone.Why?

Bani became happy.

Bani:I called you as I felt that fighting with my classmate is not a good option. But don’t try to find any new meaning in it.

She cut the call.Veeranshu smiled.

Veeranshu:Sweet heart!

The next day in college…

Bani became dull seeing Veer and Mayuri coming together to college.

Mayuri:Yesterday night I enjoyed a lot in the discotheque.

Veeranshu:Me too.

Bani became upset.

Bani:That means Veeranshu lied to me that he was dancing alone.He was having fun with Mayuri.

She walked away angrily.Veeranshu noticed this and walked behind her.

Veer:Bani!

He caressed her hair softly.

Veer:Why are you looking so upset?

Bani:Why do you care about my feelings?Why are you coming near me?Go near your Mayuri.I am sure that yesterday the whole night you were dancing with Mayuri.

Veer:Bani…why do I feel that you don’t like me dancing with Mayuri and that’s why you rang me up yesterday night to check whether I was dancing with Mayuri?

Bani got embarrassed.

Bani:Nothing like that.

Veer:Then why are you getting irritated seeing me with Mayuri?

Bani:I am not irritated.But what kind of a man are you?Till recent times you were walking behind me like a crazy lover and now you are after Mayuri.

Veer smiled:You only told me to move on.So is it wrong if I move on?

Veeranshu stood close to her.

Veer:Mayuri was dancing there with her boy friend Ponky.I just accompanied them.

Bani was surprised:What?Ponky and Mayuri are lovers?

Veer:Yes.They confessed their love to each other 2 days back only.I was their cupid.To celebrate their union only they went to the discotheque.I was given a treat there as I was their cupid.

She felt very happy.

Veer:Remember again…My sweet heart is only you.Don’t suppress your feelings for me.Let them out Sweet heart.

Bani walked away.She smiled blushing.Though Veer did not see her smile,he smiled.

Veer:I know that you love me sweet heart.I will wait for your confession of love.

Bani said in her mind:I don’t know how I fell in love with you Veeranshu.I will confess my love to you on the right time.

Valentine’s day party in college…

Bani came wearing a black gown.

Mayrui:You are looking gorgeous Bani.You dressed up for Veer.Right?All the best.

Bani blushed and said:Thank you Mayuri.

Veer's eyes fell on Bani.Veer was mesmerized by her beauty.He was not able to take his eyes off her.She blushed.

Veer:Sweet heart…you look gorgeous.

Bani:You are also looking handsome Veeranshu.

He smiled.

All were dancing.Mayuri was dancing with Ponky.

Bani:You have no dance partner today also?

Veer:No.All are dancing with their girl friends as it’s a Valentine’s party.I have no girl friend to dance with me.

Bani smiled:What if I tell you that you also have a girl friend and she wants to dance with you?

Veer was surprised:Bani..?

Bani blushed:Even I have fallen in love with you Veeranshu.

Veeranshu smiled in excitement:I knew it..I knew that you also love me Bani.

He smiled.They shared a romantic eye lock.
