Naagin 5 - Double Take 13

Okay, fellas, so here I am with my weekend review of Naagin 5. Overall, thanks to Surbhi's promotion gimmick😆, I was saved from misery for the next weekend. Intelligent hai ye log, audience aur Twitter aur Instagram pe mandbuddhi log baukhaal machaaye isse pehle hi, BTS de diye😆. Early Christmas gift from Surbhi Chandna❤️. Although my intention was to murder her for titillating us, I would say a big thank you🥳Warna mujhko sachmuch nahi pata ki aaj ka review kaise likhti, Sunday ke tense episode ke baad.🤔

To overall, agar main batau to I liked the Saturday episode more, and the Sunday episode I liked bits and parts of it. So let me get on with the review.

Highlights - Yayyy!!!👍🏼

Meera urf Vaaridhi - I was quite impressed with the fact that they have tried to incorporate other myths into this monotone "Naagin ki shakti Shiv, Naagin ki bhakti Shiv" wala show. They incorporated Cheels, and now the sea. So Meera turns out to be the reincarnation of Vaaridhi, the sea princess, not the ice princess as some idiots had posted as news😔. And Meera gladly chose to be Meera and not Vaaridhi, because, lo behold, 4 din ka pyaar🤪. Fast track court case suna tha, fast track love case pehli baar dekh rahi hu🤣. I cannot believe it dude, really. But I would want makers to explore Meera as Vaaridhi. Why? Well because, it would be a relief to watch a "vinamra, udaar, dayalu rajkumari" who would have power over the seas and would be the "support system" as many want, that Bani "the jwalamukhi" needs. As a human, Meera cannot be of much help, but being Stambhi - Sea God's daughter and Sea princess, yeah that's a powerful creature. Bani aag hai, to Meera pani, literally. So, it's a request to makers, please Meera ko puri tarah Vaaridhi na sahi, par usko pani se judi shakti aur samundar ke paani pe control de do, to I think they could incorporate an oomph factor in the supernatural division. Cause, honestly, the Sharmas have no role to play, unless Meera becomes Vaaridhi. Please, makers, meri request maan lo. I am sure there are many who want to see Meera as Vaaridhi, the Sea princess. Do share your thoughts guys.

Jai, the villain - I am thoroughly pleased that they kept Jai's "villainy" intact. He has another plan in mind, for sure. What are these phone calls he receives all the time in the episodes?? I mean aisa kaun hai jisse woh baat kare. Uski family to kab ki show se tata-bye bye kar chuki hai. To aur kaun hai? Mayuri? And beta, Chandrakala teri ma hai,Ballu tera baap nahi hai re😡. To kaunsa haq jata raha hai waha? Veeranshu tujhko bhai nahi maanta, Ballu tujhko beta nahi maanega, to bolke kya ukhaad liya tune, ki tu "sautela beta" hai and all. Aur ye Jai ka trademark style waapis aa gaya, "Mere plan samajhne ki aukaad nahi hai teri" bol raha tha Shukla ko. Koi to ho jo iss bande ko reality check de😡, ki bhaisaab, apni aukaad ka to soch, tera kya hai, kuch bhi to nahi😡. To phir tu kyun dusro ko sunata hai. And Bani ko guilt trip mat de. Satyug se tujhko yaad nahi aaya ki Bani urf Naageshwari teri saathi thi. Tab to badi tumhari ego ko michmichi mach rahi thi, Adi Naagin ka jaykaara sunke. Ab achanak tumko Satyug ka joda yaad aane laga😈. Bhul jao munna, Bani phisal gayi tumhare haath se. Ab bhabhi bulane ki aadat daal le🤪. By God, mujhko sachmuch lagta hai, iski maut Bani ke haatho hi likhi hai😡.

Bani ka bura haal - Ek minute, let me do this first, "BRU HA HA HA HA HA HA HA"🤣🤣. Let's continue. By God, bandi ko jab padti hai na jamke, tab mujhko "charam sukh" ki prapti hoti hai. Bahut dikhaya tevar, ab chakho gusse ka flavor😆. Kabhi kabhar zaruri hota hai kisiko aaina dikhaana. Haaye, aaina dikha diya Veeranshu ne👏. Ye aurat itni mandbuddhi kyun hai?😡 Usko samjhana kyun padta hai sab kuch? Khud ka tubelight kyun nahi jalati. Veeranshu vash me tha, lekin usko bolna pada ki Jai tha waha and all. Kyun Bani, tumko nahi pata tha ki Jai waha tha? And, Veeranshu itne gusse me hai, lekin tevar nahi jaate madam ke🤔. Hamesha gussa hi uski pehli pratikriya hoti hai. Didi, apni harkaten bhi to dekh liya karo😳. Aur kitne patiently jhela hai Veeranshu ne woh sab. To tum thoda sa patience nahi dikha sakti? Har baat par "Adi Naagin" ka gussa ubaal maarta hai😡. Matlab woh hamesha chahegi ki Veeranshu usko samjhe, usne kabhi aisa kiya?? Usko bahut expectations hai Veeranshu se, Veeranshu ko nahi honi chahiye? Didi, iss show me ek mahapurush ne kaha hai, "Shaadi is a two-way street". Hamesha lene ka nahi, dene ko bhi mangta hai boss. Aur aapne, to sirf bhar bhar ke diya hai, "bhadaas, gussa, nafrat, murder ke iraade". And you expect Veeranshu to understand. Seriously, she is incorrigible sometimes. But no worries, test aisa hi hota hai,mushkil aur confusion bhara. Ab do ye test, kudo iss "aag ke dariya" aur pahuncho uss Veeranshu ke paas jisko tum janti ho, jisse pyaar karti ho. Prarthana karti hu, apni akal lagao didi.

Highlights - Nayyy!!!👎🏼

Adi Naagin Bani - Yaar, mujhko samajh nahi aata, ki kab mujhko Bani as Adi Naagin pasand aayegi. Main kitni bhi koshish karu, mujhko nahi jamti re woh. Ek to dushman ko zinda chod diya. Upar se uske alag tante hai, kabhi Stambhi uski madat karta hai, kabhi Chandrama. Yaar, phir choda kyun usko zinda. Maar dena tha na. Isse kehte hai, "Aa bail mujhe maar". Khair, pani se bachane ke liye hilltop pe le gayi. Ghar kya plane crash ke time maa chod ke gayi thi, flight se koodi maarne se pehle??😆Waha high tide aa gaya, pani se bachane ke liye boats use kar rahi hai Naagin behna??🤪 Yeh hai tumhari akal ki daud. Tera dimaag kya Mohenjo Daro ya Harappa ke khudai me se nikla hai kya be, antique piece hai, museum me daal de na, agar istemaal nahi hota🤪. Now, this is the cherry on the cake. Samundar ke lehar ko nigal gayi, like she swallowed an entire wave of water. Ye hai Naagin ka kaam?? Bhai, why is this woman so lame. Why is Adi Naagin so lame and dumb? Hey bhagwaan, ye season me to Naagin mere palle padne se rahi.

Cheels - "Cheel Cheel" ka bg tune badal do re, aur naya bg tune maine socha hai, "gutargu, gutargu". Kyunki yahi karte hai ye log. Achanak Ballu ko yaad aaya ki haan be, Chandrakala meri biwi hai, woh Markaat hai. Shukla ka ata pata nahi tha. Koi iska kaam tamaam karega for Gods sake😡. Pawan to kisi kaam ka hai nahi. Daksh to aur kya bolu aur Ponky...beta bahut hasi aa rahi thi OMG twins ki haalat dekh kar. Bani abhi aankhein dikhayegi, tu dubak ke chup jaayega baap ke peeche, aaya bada. Sirf Veeranshu and Tapish hi sensible lagte hai mujhe. Inn dono me kiska genes hai be, maa baap to aise soorma hai jinse sirf Jai paida ho sakta hai inka naam roshan karne ke liye. Nahi, sach me ye "Gold Standard ke Genes", kaise aaye Tapish aur Veeranshu me??😆

Theories and Observations

Makers ka naam badal ke Stalkers rakh do. Continuously they stalk us and our discussion boards here. And they have incorporated that in the episodes, our complaints about Bani, complaints about Veeranshu losing his edge as sanki Cheel, complaints about the budding bromance. They have taken note of all that. So thank you makers for listening to us. Aur since aap log itna sun hi rahe ho, to ek #VAniInPool love confession bhi de hi do😆. The last two times they were fighting by the poolside, iss baar ek love confession wahi pe de hi do. Aur ye sirf meri nahi, pure forum ki maang hai. Sukhada, Nina, @RaniZelda, Lavi, I need you guys to back me on this, please.😆

Okay, so regarding Bani understanding of how to help Veeranshu, I have two theories in mind. Ek to ye that this will happen with Bani realizing that there is an external force at play, but not knowing who and how and maybe Tapeera comes into play here. Arre fast track love ka experience hai re😉. And maybe Meera will help here by explaining that har baar gussa aapko help nahi karta, pyaar karta hai. Agar usko Veeranshu ko bachana hai to ussi pagalpan aur sanak ke saath dil se apni baat bolni padegi aur Veeranshu ko pukarna padega, tabhi uska hypnotism toot sakta hai. Or, the useless Nagmandir ke waasi ke paas jaati hai and phir wohi scene play out hota hai. And they explain to her what happened, which is rather unlikely. So I would place my bets on the former. In both cases, pyaar ka ikraar and jazbaato ka izhaar is inevitable.

I think it's time iss Shukla ki bali chadhe, kyunki bahut din ho gaye hai iske baare me soche huye. I strongly feel that Shukla was also involved in Monil's death, not Bani. Since makers have heard us discuss these loopholes, I think it's time Shukla is exposed. Cause Teer's death is still a mystery, and so is Monil. Dono ko proper closure milna chahiye. And ab Shukla ko phir se equation me ghusaya hai, to iss baar Shukla ki katne ki baari hai. And Jai iski bali chadane me koi sankoch nahi karega.

Bani ke parents ke baare me bhi khulasa hona chahiye, like uske parents ki death Balwant ke haatho huyi thi. But ye log iss baat ko bhi shayad Chandrakala pe hi daal denge, Balwant pe nahi. Kyunki Balwant ne to apni family ko bachane ke liye band kiya tha uss aurat ko. Ye log to ye bhi dikha sakte hai, that Balwant ne majboor hokar maara Adi Naagin ke parents ko kyunki kalmuhi aurat ne usko blackmail kiya Veeranshu ko lekar or some jazz like that.

Honestly, there are some things I want makers cum stalkers to show us😆:

1. Main ek baar chahti hu ki Bani and Balwant ek team me kaam kare. Bina kisi ladai ya jhagde ke. Please ye Chandrakala waise hi tackle ho sakti hai. Bani ko samajhna hoga ki woh akeli usko handle nahi kar sakti. Woh uska maar sakti hai, lekin usko trap karne ke liye Cheel ki chalaki bhi chahiye, isiliye ek team pe to unko ek baar dikhana chahiye.

2. Main actually, Veeranshu and Bani ka cosmic connection bhi dekhna chahti hu, that why are they meant to be and why did they cross paths as Aakesh and Naageshwari. I would actually like to see Bani and Veeranshu in another janam as other characters but not in the future, in the past. A story of another life in Satyug, because it was the longest yug. It would then link Aakesh and Naageshwari and then Veeranshu and Bani. A past life that triggered these recurring births and why they are a cosmic couple. Also, Cheel Rajkumar and Adi Naagin ke ye jo invisible powers hai, mujhko woh bhi dekhna hai.

3. Jai ki achche se thukaai at the hands of Adi Naagin or Cheel Rajkumar or both together.

4. Satyug ki kuch jhalkiyaan taaki jo missing links hai story me, woh sort out ho sake. Like Hriday Chandrakala ka beta tha? Aakesh kaisa tha aur powerful kyun tha? Is there a story even before Aakesh and Naageshwari, like another birth or another life? Did Shakura have any Satyug connection, since he was a being who has lived eternally. Like short glimpses, which maybe Bani finds out to know more about Chandrakala to tackle her.

Although, Bani as Adi-Naagin, mera forever hope juda rahe ga usse ki some day she'll manage to become that Adi-Naagin we're all wanting to see. Anyway...

1. Meera as Vaaridhi. Concept bohot accha tha but I wish they would explore her more as that but seems they're not going to do that and will end that part over there. Tapish aur Meera ka toh pehle se hi sabh fast track pe chal raha tha. So, no surprises there.

2. Jay as Villain. I don't know what is planned but even I'm expecting him to keep his villainy intact. Chalo Shukla dikha toh sahi screen pe. Jay seems actually like he could be Balwant and Chandrakala's son. I don't see what Jay achieved by telling everyone that he is Veer's half brother. Koi fark toh nahi pada. Yeh Chandrakala ka ghar toh hai nahi ki woh haq se keh raha hai ki yahan reh sakta hai and all. Woh to Balwant aur cheels ka ghar hai.

3. Bani ka haal. This is like a taste of your own medicine to Bani. At least Bani ko chamka toh sahi ki Veer apne aap mein aisa behave nahi kar sakta. *Thank you, Bani, thank you. Aapne fandom ki laaj rakh li. Warna madam mercury se bhi jaldi react karti hai Veer ko galat samajhne mein*. Low key I'm going to enjoy Bani facing this angry Veer. Bani had always seen that calm, collected and loving Veer. I know he's in control but somewhere it is bringing out that Aakesh inside him. Mujhe genuinely aise laga that it is bringing out the inner obsessive and super possessive Aakesh jiski zid hai Nageshwari. There is love but its more like wanting to possess her for himself. Aisa ki puri duniya main Bani sirf use dekhe. Its that demanding side of Veer. Mujhe legit early episodes wali vibe aayi where Veer seemed more like Aakesh.

I like the idea that Bani has to deal with something that she had never faced before. Veer as her enemy. You can't extinguish fire with fire. You need to get water to extinguish the fire. So, dekhna yeh hai ki madam ka bulb kitni jaldi jalega on dealing with Veer.

4. Cheels. Yeh jhol kuch mujhe bhi samajh nahi aaya. Yeh Tapish aur Veer aaye kahan se in lafantaron ke beech? Soft-spoken Tapish and usually cool tempered Veer. Konsa sone ke ande dene wali murgi hai jisne in dono ko banaya. Considering Chandrakala and Balwant can only bring koila. Not capable of creating this 'golden standard genes'. Baaki saare cheel useless hai yahan pe. They do nothing but rage, complain or create a chorus.

Things I liked in the episode. Saturday ka toh episode tha hi. Almost all vani scenes were amazing. Sunday ke episode mein. I liked their teasing conversations. Pehli baar their teasing conversations felt like couple stuff. Tapish saying "Waise toh tu tedha aadmi hai. Naak katayega kya?" I am sort of curious to see ki Bani kya gift laayi thi Veer ke liye.

Yeh jo connection hai Veer with the moon. I wish they would think more of this connection. At night the brightest thing in the sky is the moon. Its the same. Veer is also the only one having brightness in him among the pool of darkness which Cheels live in. Just like moon doesn't have its own light but rather reflects the sun's light, Veer also reflect bani's light. Jaise chaand mein daag hote hai Veer ke character mein bhi hai thode se dark parts. Chandrakala is also attached to the moon. Like she wants to own the moon just like how she wishes that Veer would do what she asks him to do.

I wish so badly that they show something of Aakesh and Nageshwari. Something. Dheeraj Dhooper and Hina Khan ki kya superb chemistry thi. As good as Sharbhi. The reason they were fated to meet.

I'm wondering ki kahin the new entry is related to Jay. Matlab maybe itne phone calls Jay usi ko kar raha ho.

Saturday ka episode dekhke toh mujhe wahi waali feeling aayi thhi ke bani behen agar pani se khatra hai toh boat mein kyon le jaane ki koshish kar rahi ho sabko. Cheelon se kaho udaake le jaaenge ya jaise dwipi ne bola thha... Gaadiyaan nikaalo by road nikal jaao... It really felt like aa bala pakad mera gala

Jab Bani behoshi mein haath aage kar rahi thhi naa tab I was like veer bol bani please veer bol aur usne kahaan. Mere dil ko itna sukoon mila hai naa by God.

I have said this on other threads as well aur main phirse kahungi ke mohit ke potential ko utilize kiya jaaye. Jay ko thoda substance diya jaaye... Following the story, kuch na kuch gadbad jhala karne ki teiyyari mein hai woh. I really want to see a jealous and power hungry jay. Aur mujhe yeh samajhna hai ke Jay aur bani ki equation aakhir hai kya? Why did she say ke woh dost hai... Ok... If she does not know ke veer ko cage karneka aur shakura ko laane wala kaand Jay ne kiya thha toh she should know... She should know about jays brahman hatya wala paap and well she knows that Jay ne uska roop lekar veer ko stab karne ki koshish ki... I want her to be Adi Naagin and do justice on that front.

Kal veer ko mu bani ki tone ke chakkar mein hi hua hai agar woh thoda strictly ya thode gusse mein bolti ke woh shaadi shuda hai and that he has to stay away from both of them... Mu nahi hota but I understand... Mu hi chahiye thha makers ho aur sahi bhi hai... Ab Bani veer ke liye mehnat karegi.

Even I feel ke veer ko uss purple light ke possession se bachaane ke liye bani apni powers toh use karegi hi, uske saath dil se usse pukaaregi... Tab woh theek hoga.

I really want to see more of cheel clan. Ponky toh theek lekin daksh ko kya ho gaya hai... I really liked Ballu and veers bonding... Writers please cheel clan ko utilize karo. Teer's death should also get closure... Ballu veer se kitna pyar karta hai... Teer se bhi karta hoga naa. Yeh angle pe kaam karna chahiye.

Another thing that I loved about yesterday's episode was... Bani is so much in love... Veer actually made her want to be with him. Jhukne lagi hai woh veer ki mohhabat ke aage.

Personally speaking, I felt that this sea thing was very open-ended. So, there is a chance that Meera may come to her all-time father Stambhi for help, and she may acquire powers as a shapeshifting Sea Goddess to help Bani and retain it as well. I think there was a reason Vaaridhi was introduced, so I feel makers are testing to see how we like it. I for one would like to see Meera as Vaaridhi, the Sea Goddess or shapeshifting Sea Goddess who can stay on land as human and also in water. They should explore it.

I am up for seeing Bani as Veeranshu's Bani and I hope she understands that Veeranshu cannot be dealt by Adi Naagin, infact she can be dealt by Bani, his wife. Ab tak laaj rakhi hai jaise ki samajh gayi Veeranshu me koi problem hai, jo uske gharwale bhi nahi samajh paaye, to aage jaake bhi laajh rakhe. Gusse ke aag se nahi, pyaar ke pani se jeetna hoga Veeranshu ko. Shiv bhi jab raudra hote hai, tab Parvati bhi unki pratikriti Shivling pe pani daal ke unko shaant karti hai. I for one think, the "bharpayi" is Bani confessing her love and Veeranshu doing "bharpayi" with a lovely date.

Moon has played a very important role in this series. Initially, Veeranshu was referred to as the moon. Jai had a problem transforming in moonlight, Naagins obviously have their moon quirks. Chandrakala became kalmuhi because she demanded the moon from Shiv. The moon controls the sea and its tides which led to Vaaridhi, moon is something that is the battery recharge for Chandrakala. I mean moon has a huge role here. I think since Chandrakala is half serpent and half Cheel, the moon isn't her weakness, but strength. Serpents are weak in moonlight, but Cheels aren't. So that is why maybe the moon makes Chandrakala and Veeranshu strong but saps the power of Nagas like Jai and Bani.

I wish so badly that they show something of Aakesh and Nageshwari. Something. Dheeraj Dhooper and Hina Khan ki kya superb chemistry thi. As good as Sharbhi. The reason they were fated to meet.

I agree to all the points mentioned by you - Jai ko itni jaldi nahi thokenge kyuki woh end tak rehne wala hai shayad,, I don't understand on what basis he is staying in the Singhania mansion unless Chandrakala has some share in the property & business. The makers should not have made Veer & Jai as step brothers - period.

Bani pe Adi Naagin bohat haavi hai,, kuch minutes ke liye Veeranshu ne tevar kya dikhaye,, madam jhatpat aa gayi Adi Naagin ke roop mein,, koi isko samjhao ki har problem ka solution Adi Naagin banna nahi hota. I loved Veer's floor mat point & how he mentioned that Bani clearly didn't defend him in front of Jai - how insufferable she is - sab Jai ne bola, meri galti nahi thi, waah re waah. Woh khamosh thi aur yehi sabse badi wajah thi Veeranshu ke gusse ki.

I don't think Adi Naagin can fight with Veeranshu even if she tries to, kyuki Maarkaat amma ne bhi Bani ko bohat baar patka hai, ab toh Veer ke paas Maarkaat ke powers bhi hai since he's under the effect of a spell, toh uske powers bohat zyada honge. In the precap, he tells Bani that he's more powerful than her - it is actually Maarkaat speaking through Veeranshu. Let's see Veeranshu kab iss spell ke effect se bahar aata hai. Promo dekh ke thoda idea mil jayega. Last but not the least, great review ! 😊

I have said this on other threads as well aur main phirse kahungi ke mohit ke potential ko utilize kiya jaaye. Jay ko thoda substance diya jaaye... Following the story, kuch na kuch gadbad jhala karne ki teiyyari mein hai woh. I really want to see a jealous and power hungry jay. Aur mujhe yeh samajhna hai ke Jay aur bani ki equation aakhir hai kya? Why did she say ke woh dost hai... Ok... If she does not know ke veer ko cage karneka aur shakura ko laane wala kaand Jay ne kiya thha toh she should know... She should know about jays brahman hatya wala paap and well she knows that Jay ne uska roop lekar veer ko stab karne ki koshish ki... I want her to be Adi Naagin and do justice on that front.

Hum log to kabse intezaar kar rahe hai. Pata nahi kab ye nazara dikhega, ki ye Adi Naagin apni justice ki dukaan me Jai ka bhi khaata khole. Isse plain bias kehte hai aur kuch nahi. Aayi badi insaaf ki devi banne.

Kal veer ko mu bani ki tone ke chakkar mein hi hua hai agar woh thoda strictly ya thode gusse mein bolti ke woh shaadi shuda hai and that he has to stay away from both of them... Mu nahi hota but I understand... Mu hi chahiye thha makers ho aur sahi bhi hai... Ab Bani veer ke liye mehnat karegi.

I really want to see more of cheel clan. Ponky toh theek lekin daksh ko kya ho gaya hai... I really liked Ballu and veers bonding... Writers please cheel clan ko utilize karo. Teer's death should also get closure... Ballu veer se kitna pyar karta hai... Teer se bhi karta hoga naa. Yeh angle pe kaam karna chahiye.

My hopes with the Cheels are really dropping day by day.

Another thing that I loved about yesterday's episode was... Bani is so much in love... Veer actually made her want to be with him. Jhukne lagi hai woh veer ki mohhabat ke aage.
