Storyline : From bad to worse

I am a silent member of this forum. Couldn't hold myself from writing this post being a VaNi fan.

What happened to Naagin 5? It started off so strong. I thought it would be something like Naagin v/s cheels. Seems like they forgot the entire thing. What was the point of reincarnation? The main heros are sidelined, they're more like comedians now. That bromance!? Tbh, I HATED IT. Jay wanted to kill Bani and plotted so much, how can they pull his character down like this? What is the confusion between Fake and REAL Markat? Did Veer forget about Teer?

Veer was so sassy previously, smart, intelligent but after Bani's truth being revealed as AdiNaagin his character has doomed. I expected him to be angry with Bani. Okay, he is the sweetest but the least they could show is Bani being guilty? But no, she doesn't reciprocate. No emotions, NOTHING. Haan malum hai woh AadiNaagin hain! Then what about her powers? Everyone wants her powers aisa kya hain usmein? That Markat was playing with her like a toy. What about that SHUKLA? He was plotting with Jay. Have they forgotten that as well?

The main male lead(Veer) whom I loved sm has been reduced to dust.

I do not follow the episodes regularly because of an uninteresting plot. I get scolded at home coz such shows should not be encouraged. But kya karun? I like Sharad and Surbhi.

Bani has become super irritating long back. The makers are just focusing on Bani and throwing away a good story line. The cheels have no role at all.

What started off as a love triangle revenge story has been reduced to some pathetic saas bahu saga.

Every season had a focused plot. S1- Shivani wanted to take revenge on her parents' killers. But this season, WAS THERE ANY REVENGE AT ALL between Naagin vs Cheels.

I believe it would have been better with Cheels trying to please their god by stealing Naagmani. Balwant being a mastermind. Something of that sort.

Sorry but I just feel Sharad and Surbhi are not being used at their best. I shouldn't have pinned hopes on an Ekta Kapoor's show but nvm. Just had to vent out.

Veeranshu indeed was THE USP this season, most amazing character I had come across since a longgg time on ITV!

But they ruined him to dust! It just feels the soul of the show is gone!

Feelings are mutual. This is not the same show which started three months back. Makers are just wasting the talent of Sharbhi.

I agree, I’m finally relieved they’re going to end this season soon. Just hope they make another good one in a few more years with a good plot.

They are just ruining everything with this shit fake markaat crap which if you ask if handled properly could have done wonders for the show but they just messed it up by revealing everything in a rush which was so bloody stupid. They dont reveal important stuff like about Teer's backstory, Chandrakala and Balwant's relationship, Veer's hidden powers etc, but were quick to reveal this only to realise that it has made a mess of everything.

Even Jay seems pretty much useless now, he was better off as the villain who wanted to kill Bani and kept plotting against her, what the hell is he doing now other than just interrupting every VAni moment we get and bickering and irritating Veer.
