Psychiatrist have heart and mind at eight place, please don't give such wrong msg of obsession for a kid, specially when as a nation we are demanding ppl to be more vocal about taking psychiatric help..

Depression,Anxiety ,Traumas in child or Adult is a serious thing... Yeh Rishta CVS didn't had to mess up.. Seriously can't they show one proper track!

I fully agree with you, although I would add that it's psychological help that is also necessary instead of just psychiatric. In her case it's psychological because she isn't administering any medicine, rather doing treatment through therapy.

This is so disturbing for me as a counselor that they are showing a psychiatrist forgetting her job and getting emotionally attached to a kid and then, getting upset seeing the parents spending some time together.

I am so disappointed with today's episode with Ridhima imagining herself in place of Naira, enjoying ice cream with Karthik. Accepted, she was suffering from some mental stress but as a counselor, she is here to help Kairav getting close to Naira not to expect the family to adopt her as his mother.

Ridhima falling in love for Karthik is the most disgusting thing they are showing and the birth mark part is the most illogical thing ever!

I can imagine what you must be feeling. My blood boils when they show something like this , I really feel like writing a letter to cv's and ask them show some sensible stuff. And like some one said Mental health is a very sensitive issue and is not handled well at all.

Naira was never a good mother to begin with. She deprived her son of his father, a family, financial security and what not, because of her personal grudge against Kartik. Won’t get into who was right and who was wrong then but Naira should have kept Kairav out of it entirely.

Then, despite his health, she didn’t tell Kartik the truth. She would rather act mahaan and get her husband married to another woman rather than confronting him & seeking help for their son with a heart condition.

Again, she demanded for sole custody of Kairav and wanted to take him back to Goa to prove herself as selfless to Vedika.

Everything said & done, despite his flaws, Kartik has always been a better parent to Kairav. I am still amazed at the fact that he doesn’t hold Naira’s constant Goa chant against her, rather is alright with taking a secondary position in their son’s life.

Coming to the topic of discussion, it was brave & progressive of Kartik to seek professional help for Kairav. Naira’s “outsider” chant was unnecessary but glad she came on board as well.

Ridhima turning into a psycho was expected though wish they could have portrayed her as anything but a counsellor. Her imagining herself in Naira’s position was pukeworthy. Kartik is a father of two kids now & he’s certainly not the last good looking guy in the world that every woman has to fall for him.

I don't necessarily think he's been a better father to Kairav. He's been very lenient with him, despite Kairav picking up on poor concepts one after the other. He should have been far more strict with his dealings rather than brushing it off or making the matter less serious than it is.

Coming to the topic of Vedika, the fact that Karthik went ahead and got married to her, despite still being in love with Naira is deplorable. It was such a stupid track and the marriage was out to destroy several lives.

Rather than shifting the blame on one one person, both need to be held accountable where they were wrong. & Karthik has been very wrong several times. The people on this forum criticize Naira left right and centre, and while I agree with most of the points, Karthik too deserves the same treatment.

Kartik has been criticised and called out for his anger issues as well & both of them are blamed as per the tracks.

Anyhow, as a parent, he’s been lenient but at the same time there have been scenes where he’s been firm as well. There’s sorta a balance in his relationship with Kairav imo which is what he wanted Naira to do as well prior to the current track.

Tbh, Naira & Kairav’s relationship was never developed. The focus was always on Kartik and Kairav since they wanted to emphasise on the fatherly connect despite him being absent for five years. With Naira, audience was just left to assume that Kairav is super close to her. Most of her focus post leap had been on Kartik/ Vedika/ Goenka’s, while Kartik got more one on one time & scenes with Kairav.

I was just thinking about this today actually. After Aarambh’s entry, Shivangi as Naira must have only gotten a handful of scenes with him. Most of his scenes have either been with both Kartik & Naira or Kartik. When we see the characters interact, we obviously develop more of a liking towards them & their relationship. This is one of the reasons why I can’t connect with Naira & Kairav’s relationship. It’s mostly based on the years which were skipped rather than what we were shown.
