That was a nice difference shown today.

Despite being a deal marriage, he is comfortable enough with Sai to hold her and later massage her head.

Despite being "best friend" , he seems to be maintaining a respectful distance by just giving Paaki the tablet and offering to take her to doctor.

So true about being comfortable with the touch. It's not ott, not awkward and just sweet

About the deal marriage:: I actually don't think it is a deal marriage for him. He has married her. That's it. The 'tum chali jaana' part was said to pacify her in the car because she was just out of the hospital and upset about him saying yes to the marriage. It's just as thoughtless as the vaada made to PP to push her to marry Samrat.

He said to PP during the terrace conversation that wo Apne raaste main Apne, but he doesn't mean it. If it was indeed a deal, he wouldn't go out of his way to convince his family to accept her as bahu and keep rolling his eyes at the mention of the deal. The reason why he wants Sai to learn the 'taur tareeka' of the family is because he knows she will not be going anywhere. At some point, she will have to get assimilated into the house.
