@bold - Actually, Ru can't even be called a family guy because he is not really giving any thought to anyone other than himself and his need to keep S (bhai ka ansh and all). The focus, at least in this track, has always been more on him choosing S over everyone rather than them being a better family for S.

All the other SP shows which are doing well (Anupama, Ghum Hai, Imlie) have FLs who are fighting back, albeit in their own way.

I just rewatched the last scene to make sure I got Ru’s words right when he was smug about putting S ahead of P even (I was 😒) and I hate Pree in that whole sequence. She’s too helpless. She really is the emoji 🥺 looking back and forth b/w Ru and M as if she’s watching the most intense ping pong match in history.

Changes are needed ASAP.. once TRP starts falling it's difficult to rise.. From next Monday atleast the should bring better episodes otherwise 2-3 weeks of bad TRP is danger for the show.. BB14 is picking up, Sathiya 2 is coming up with lead marriage & YRRKH is having fresh track.. if these 2 shows too move ahead of us then we will be on watchlist of SP..

@bold - this! Plus, lack of POV from her side doesn't help either.

Another factor might be that YHC airs right after Anupama where the FL, despite being uneducated and having a pathetic husband, is fighting back and trying to discover herself. True, it's laden with a lot of drama but they try to put forth an empowering message.

And right after that, comes YHC with its suicide tracks and an FL, despite being educated and someone who has stood up to society, is now just crying and refusing to do anything else and an ML, who despite being in love, refuses to support FL and spits fire all the time. Plus, a lot of side characters who we don't even care about suddenly getting a lot of screen time. Add to that, a so-called romantic drama with no romance between the leads. All in all, not a very mood-boosting watch.

Also - when Pree decides to stop being mute, can she please claim her position as super mamma again?? And teach everyone around her that spoiling a kid and agreeing to every whim isn't good parenting? Ru and Rajeev got no attention growing up and they're screwed up for it. Giving in to every demand Saraansh has will have the same affect. And he'll be screwed up in the future.

And no, just b/c he lives in the house, and may one day inherit everything when you all die, does not mean he can take money etc. when he feels like it. He still needs to ask for permission. There's no ifs ands or buts about it.

Proper parents are a TEAM. Kids don't get put ahead of parents. You don't raise kids while hoping to be their friend. So Ru, stop putting S in front of your wife just b/c he's your dead brother's son and you have some stupid guilt going on in your brain that makes you feel that you're loving S less if you don't give him that #1 position.

He shouldn't have that position. Be his PARENT, his guide, his protector. You don't need to keep declaring you put him first you weirdo.

And get him out of your bedroom as soon as Mahima is gone. I know he's supposed to be younger on the show but Yagya is like 12. I can't handle him in the bed anymore! Get out kid!!

And just so we're all clear, I don't want Pree in that bed with Ru either. The fire spitter does not deserve it. Unless they go the typical ITV way and she puts up a row of pillows between them, I don't want her in there with him 🤬

We do! All the confession words have been undone and we need to see Ru's regret and no, just a single gesture like feet-touching, et al. won't do! Give us proper scenes and heartfelt dialogues, not the OTT ones!

I think this Mahima track could have actually been a huge TRP booster if they had taken the time to establish the character while also building up RuSha and then slowly upped the drama. But the back-to-back suicide attempts and shouting matches, all while sidelining RuSha, were just too much too soon.
