I thought SM was different

Hi all,

Knowing about the upcoming track I am so disappointed. I really thought SM was different from typical saas/bahu serials-but no its exactly like one of those ones. Now even with that 'big' son (who looks like KTs and Nandini's younger brother) it is just soo sad.

I remember reading one of you the threads that the show has gone the YHM track (sorry dont remember your name ) and you were bang on.

1. Preeti dresses up like Ishita (even hairstyle).

2. Nandini dresses up like Shagun-fashionable and sexy and

3. The protagonist's son dislikes the second wife - Adi hated Ishita.

I loved the concept and instead of showing how the business gets both together they will force a triangle, Preeti being insulted here and there and winning in the end. In all this her MIL will support Nandini.

I thought it would have been more mature to show how the get their SM-projects and start understanding each other as friends and then this love turning into husband/wife love.

But nahin-nothing new and I am sad.

Sorry for my rant, I am just hugely upset and have to maybe stop watching a few episodes.

But Preeti’s getup and sarees are much better than Ishita imo. Ishita used to get outdated sarees and ugly hairdo back in the day 😆.

Atleast Adi was a kid there. But here Arjun hating on Preeti is just 🤪

I want this Arjun gone for good and he better not be KT's son.

I don't get why this show is showing the FL being everyone's punching bag. It's sick. This was supposed to be a story of her growing confident and finding a place for herself in society.

I feel Preeti and KT got married too quick and it would have been better for her to date someone else before falling for KT.

I am just watching SM for Keerti and PreeKu scenes otherwise its just not the regular SM.

I just hope they get rid of this 'Nandini Mubarak to audience' track as quicker as possible.

Absolutely. preeti's sari are better but you are right her hairdo like a bird nest. -I was worried to say this in case I get trolled 😂

I second that he is old enough to be Adi's father and then to force him to cry like a kid -not done

The punching bag thing, I stg. The whole arc rn doesn’t make sense. Preeti left her son’s house, as she didn’t get any respect there. Went to kusum’s place, made an identity for herself. Every night with Kusum and Preeti seemed like a sleepover at a friend’s place. It was all so healthy. She even refused to get married to KT when her family was forcing her to, in the village. Cut to 10 episodes later, she agrees to marry a guy who she knows doesn’t love her. Hears taunts from her MIL, her husband, his ex wife, AND her kid. Guess what Preeti!? You’re back to living in a house where you get no respect. So they have successfully destroyed the motto of the show and all that character development. Clap clap!

My words and thoughts as well. I have stopped watching shows for a while as it was always the same, the last time was YHM (I was an ardent fan and stopped when it went the typical serial-type). Then I saw SM and was interested again and now seems like SM will lose some viewers for a while.

Yes I also agree..the marriage was early..

I also thought the concept of this show is different and has much scope to show other than this ghatiya saas bahu dramas...

They would have shown how they made their business to next level and how they handled the problems faced..in the process how they both understood each other..and became eachothers strength..and weak ness...then opening up about their pasts..and connect emotionally....then this Nandini track should comeup..then after marriage finally try to accept eachother as their life partner and finally pyaar hona chahiye.

This would be nice..but they hurried to marriage and started saas bahu drama
