Fikar not i bulk downloaded until yesterday Akari ke 3, 4 reh gaye hain. Honetaly thanks to all this effort you put in warna main toh beech main hi chod deti ikhate karna 😆😆 I will work upon them soon:ll abhi waise bhi bohat vella mehsoos ho raha hai esp now that gulaal is over😆

LOL true that....but honestly, the original saas-bahu template still used to have stronger storytelling compared to aajkal ke saas-bahu ones. The original Ekta shows were all very strong in terms of storylines and even female protagonists that expresses their opinions and choices way more strongly and coherently. Yeah, the shows back then used to be louder in terms of dramatic effects but basic storytelling foundation used to be strong.....But shows today have dropped the pretense of even making a bare minimum attempt at storytelling, regardless of genre....and that is why the drop in quality shows so drastically.

Aajkal ki audience is content with tokenism....whether it's token characters or token "strong" lines or token "hawt" scenes or token "chemistry"😆....bas momentarily token kuch daal do and it's enough to catch people's attention since aajkal attention span bhi utna hi ho gaya hai logon ka😆....makers are also content in only catering to this tokenism....cuz it's less work😆....win-win all around.

So yeah, yeh "high" standards humaari samajh se baahar hi rahenge....kya karein, we unfortunately have memories long enough to remember when actual storytelling still existed on ITV even with the dramatics😆.

LOL I can't tell you how hard I tried to edit her out of that handshake bit when I was gif-ing that scene.....seriously ruined such a nice scene. Thankfully in later scenes, when they showed an FB of that scene, it was Talli-less

That scene got so much better without Talli and addition of chulbuli Gulaal:) I remember that FB scene and I seriously felt I willed her out of the frame or they actually edited it? 🤣

Oh yeah ofcourse it was cuz Kesar was too distracted to remember to take it off but the point still remains that the writers kept dragging on these scenes of Talli's "dard" by showing bits like her hanging on to the engagement ring and even until the day of her engagement with Kunal, still thinking about her past with Kesar only....lol

LOL Talli discovered the letters during her usual attempts to snoop around in Kesar's room....she had seen Kesar so carefully and lovingly re-reading those letters one time toh mauka milte hi she went to his room to snoop in his cupboard....she found the letters but got distracted and didn't get time to read them....she stuffed them in a bag and uske baad she forgot all about them since Kesar announced he will marry her....lol otherwise she had been curious to read the letters cuz her friend was telling her ki Kesar must have someone in his life he is writing letters to.....but she forgot about them and only later discovered them in her cupboard again after Kesar breaks off his shaadi to her and refuses to break the DV with Gulaal....toh I think she then finally connects the dots about Kesar being in love with Gulaal since he wrote to her for so many years and that is what she goes and tells Gulaal too when she gives her the letters.....that's another funny bit cuz it comes right after Gulaal returns to her room following Kesar's confession to her....and when Talli tells her that Kesar loves her, Gulaal gets freaked out for a bit ki "Tujhe kaise pata chala ki...."....then Talli shows her the letters ki har letter pe Gulaal hi hai, khud dekh le

Oh thanks I saw Talli parts in bits and pieces only, now I know what actually happened. Kesar really freaked Gulaal out during this phase with his honesty and his challenges😆 Gulaal was so scared, bade bade vaade jo kiye the sabse, Kesar ki aur se😆 I enjoyed watching how Kesar dealt with her that time😆

I made my very first GK sig on this scene....it's one of my favs for the calm resolve with which Kesar responds to Gulaal when she again tries to tell him, "yeh pyar nahin, lagaav hai".....and he tells her ki "ab toh tu samajh hi gayi hogi ki bachpan se sirf dor hi nahin bandhi tujhse, mera pyar bhi bachpan se hi hai".....Gulaal kept getting rattled, but he kept calmly repeating his truth that he's always loved her.....Gulaal ko double jhatke lag rahe the....lol ek toh that Kesar was saying he loved her and not just since now, but since his childhood.

The best part was the proof was in her hands that time, so this time even if she said yeh sirf lagaav hai, she very well knew it was much more than lagaav. He has penned all his emotions, his doubts, questions and most importantly her importance in his life. Was it during this scene that he tells her something along the lines of, mera sach to yehi hai, baki tujhe jo samajhna hai tu samajh.

The thing after Kesars confession was he was relieved of his confusion and it was a huge burden off his shoulders. Whereas for Gulaal it was the opposite. The cat was out of the bag and she did not know how to deal with it!

You know its double whammy, as I can’t enjoy other shows as much , after watching such a masterpiece. It feels like taking a time off😆 I was on such a high last 2 weeks🤣 , now it feels like I am having after effects. 😆

Forget story they don't even try to get the "aesthics" right also pehle even when they didn't had this many resources they tried their best to make them look authentic. Matlab yeh toh koi chipping baat hain nahi ke dr and pandit ji was same no matter what show what channel it was😆 and they had to say literally same 2 lines everywhere yet they made it look thoda toh in the moment and go along with mood of scenes yeh alag baat hai ke humein hassi aa jaati thi caz of melodrama😆

What i find even more bizzare and offensive is the people who are spending their day and night bashing older shows and making fun of their content being happy with aajkal ki manhoosiyat which is way worse. Aajkal they only watxh for hero ka shirtless hona heroine changing 20 outfits in a week and doing random ohotoshoots for instance while consistently having a single expression in them all and onscreen as well regardless of mood.

Matlab there are people still enjoying aajkal ka EDKV2 ab aur kya hi boloon main kuch gunjaish reh nahi jaati and roz the letters to didi and how didi is the best thing since sloved bread make me laugh. Itna kya chatna even if you are watching for a character or actor. How hard is to call out the negatives. Main toh aone fav kitna hi hawt kit a hi khoobsurat kyon na ho ko bhi hamesha theek nahi keh sakti even if I am watching something for "hawt"walr reasons

This bhagwan banana culture is what is ruining things and the instant tagging anyone who is trying to maybe better the quality with their criticism. Har koi sirf hate karne ke liye hi nahi bolta.isi liye shows like naagins and edkv2 are thriving and stillllllll going on when they should've ended long back. I still can't believe that Sony is giving so much leeway to EDKV2 even on liv despite having nothing it keeps going on. While a BBKD couldn't even reach their main plot

P.s I did check out an episode of Molly and despite their regressive storyline I found it a better made show then anything else on colors and mujhe laga hi tha by looking at the episode ke Balaji hai and Balaji hi nikla but I just cannot watch it caz it is so disturbing otherwise but itna jaan ke felt good ke kamse kam they have gotten the aesthics a bit better then others usme toh kuch mehnat ki lagti hai isi liye just by watching a lil bit I could guess the PH woh old Balaji wala flavor was apparent. 😆

Exactly. Realizing his truth and then speaking it set Kesar free from all the confusions and doubts that had been tormenting him for 10 long years.....he achieved complete clarity about what he felt and wanted. But then the entire burden transferred onto Gulaal who went even deeper into denial when faced with the truth.....so that was the paradox....the truth set Kesar free, but Gulaal ended up being more trapped in her denials....because she wasn't yet ready to face either Kesar's truth or her own truth.

Original EK daily soaps were way way better. It lost track after a year or so, tab tak to it was watchable. Also she had good actors and the lead pair used to have actual chemistry 😆 So much word on shows not being bothered about story at all. They just go in for high drama, non sensical twists and turns


My mom watches Indiawali maa ( thats a better version of Anupama🤣) and guess what, mausijis name in it is Kesar😆 .
