The episode begins with Vanya at Anu’s house, Van getting reprimanded by Babuji for creating ruckus at Anu’s house. He asks Van to keep Kavya out of Anu’s house and if future he should consult Kavya before doing anything for his parents n children or poor Anu will bear the brunt of it from Kavya for no fault of hers. Baa agrees, Van glares at Kavya. Babuji asks him to let them live in peace in their house at least, they were already shamed in the locality because of VanYa.
An grabs Kavya’s hand angrily n drags her out of Anu’s house. They have a massive argument, Van is displeased with Kavya for going to his family n fighting with them over him. He asks her not to feel insecure form Anupamaa over him. She was never a threat to her n will never be. Kavya argues that he was meeting them n giving money without informing her. He says he has always been independent Van says his parents were his Gods and his kids were his heart n he was not going to give up either for any one, not even Kavya.
On reAching home VanYa have face off.
Samar n Nandini are having coffee at her place, they share a few moments of bonding. They assure one another that they will not let anything affect their friendship, whether their relationship progresses into anything else or not.
They become fast friends.
Anu n her family start planning for Pakhi’s birthday party. They are as excited as Pakhi. Pakhi requests them to invite dad too, Anu reluctantly agrees.
Toshu meets Kinjal while jogging at park. They are very happy to meet eachother. He wants to giver her the engagement ring to her but she is skeptical as her mother was insisting on sending her away to US against her wishes. Kinjal wanted to marry Toshu n settle down here. They both reach home and the family agrees to their rishtaa. Baa shows her reluctance because of Rakhi but agrees to accept Kinjal if Rakhi keeps away from their family. Kinjal agrees to help them with Pakhi’s birthday celebrations. Nandini also joins them.
Pakhi meets her dad at his office and they share an affectionate bond, Pakhi’s wants her dad to be present for her birthday party, he agrees to join her party n also for her shopping like every year. Kavya over hears this n decides to upset Anu’s party plans.
Next day the family gets ready to celebrate Pakhi’s birthday. Anu n baa keep accounts of the expenses and they plan a menu on a lavish scale, go out of the way, not to let Pakhi think they were not doing enough in absence of their dad.
Pakhi returns home feeling thrilled with the shopping on a lavish scale on the occasion of her birthday. The family is surprised at the huge number of bags Samar is seen carrying. Anu asks Samar if he managed all this within the budget , Samar assures he had got her money safe with him as Pakhi’s dad paid for the entire shopping. Anu then asks if got Pakhi the dress she had asked him to buy, Samar says that Pakhi chose her own dress but it was too expensive for their budget, so Pakhi’s dad paired for that as well. Anu feels sad she could do nothing for Pakhi’s birthday. Samar assures they were going to thro a good party for Pakhi, anunfeels happy n excited about it .
Kavya asks Van to allow her to throw a party for Pakhi in the mid day. She wanted tk do something for Pakhi as renew their friendship like they had been earlier. Her party would be at noon so that Anu’s party was not affected by this. Van agrees.

Pakhi is at VanYa’s house and is having a grand celebration with VanYa and few of her school friends. She hugs her papa happily for the grand celebrations n huge cake. At Home Anupamaa is waiting with all the decorations and eatables ready, waiting to give Pakhi her surprise, she calls Pakhi but she does not get a reply. Kavya thinks of telling Anu that she could wait all day n night, Pakhi would not go back home from this 🎉 🎊 🎈 party
