Yeah it would have been nice if things had a natural progression through chance meetings and all.. instead of sweats interference.

very well put Surya šŸ‘šŸ¼ It was complicated from abir's pov to confess about his feelings to mishti. Majorly because of meenu, partly becuase of his own guilt and his love for nanko. but yeah it was a mess for him.

Wow for a change I actually like Jas when she said why didn't mishti understand when kunal asked her to remove her glasses. Here both Mishti and Jas were correct in their own stance

Kuhu-BP scene was also nice and loved how he explained Kuhu that mishti can never do anything wrong. I wish he had explained things to kuhu more often especially after mishbir's marriage when Kuhu was hell bent on destroying mishti's life

ps: good night Pallavi and Manju šŸ¤— Will reply to all your posts tomorrow

Yeah BP should have shown the same wisdom and support for Mishti during magazine track when he put the entire burden on Mishti to resolve Kuhu’s fights with her. Of course he knew Mishti was the mature balanced person but why should she accept the absurd demands and abuse of a narcissist?

Kunal and Meenu’s egos just couldn’t accept that Mishti publicly rejected him and not the other way around! Abir’s sensible arguments fell on deaf ears!

Jas was actually sensible back then, loved what she said that Mishti should have realized during Kunal’s laser surgery demand!

Good night, Sumi! šŸ¤—

Epi 58 part 1 - meenu saying mish wasnt serious about premarital courtship. And she took it lightly. (well, wasnt that kunal?) mishti finally tells abir that she knows it was abir who was behind all the gestures that kunal made.

mish's speech was nice. but shouldn't it be BP or BM speaking to meenu here? I mean mish was much younger to have that verbal argument with meenu.

And then finally BP intervened. Loved his dialogues. but like i said, they suited for a time 30-40 years back. I would hope today's india is progressed than that.šŸ¤“

I felt bad for BM she was genuinely looking forward to mishti's shadi

Abir-meenu argument is intense, me love it these two are so well gelled into their characters that it makes it fun to watch

Abir tried to tell Kunal during the Champaner trip also

He was going to tell Kunal about Mishti, he said someone has indeed come between us ....but as usual he was interrupted by the NGO Didi I think

But no way he could have said anything on Mishnal GD day, it would cause a furor, Mishti would be blamed as usual and Kunal would be shocked and hurt that his brother has feelings for his intended fiancƩe.

Bold: Absolutely true! He had burned his bridges with Mishti and needed to amend that first before even thinking about his feelings for her.
At first he did push Mishnal alliance because of the reason you gave (saving Nanko from BB) but later when he realized Mishti Kunal were a mismatch he should have discouraged them instead of further helping Kunal

Abir Meenu tashan is my all time favorite..šŸ˜†

Such a balancing screen presence and dialogue delivery...šŸ‘šŸ‘

For BM it was never about compatibility between Mishnal...her aim was to make Mishti safe from Naman...

And later the family where she thought Naman can't approach brought Naman back in front of her..šŸ˜•

Bold: Meenu is a shameless liar! Mishnal dates failed repeatedly because of Meenu’s deliberate planning 😈 She didn’t let Mishti succeed in knowing Kunal and repeatedly caused problems between them! God knows why Mishti didn’t break off the alliance back then! She’s always been too forgiving and kind!

Mishti always spoke her mind to elders in her family so they let her say her part to Meenu before intervening

Bold underline- Unfortunately many societies are still like that in small towns and backward places

Abir Meenu arguments and tashan always a treat to watch! Both such powerful actors

But somehow I couldn’t tolerate Meenu after Mishbir breakup. I forward all Meenu’s ugly plotting scenes in the Nannu track, cannot stand it. My mind cannot grasp a mother hurting snd harming her own son so cruelly and even plotting to kill Nannu! 🤢

Epi 58 part 2 - Abir giving ketki and ved's example was wrong becuase meenu never wanted to break that alliance either. So it was not about their own daughter vs outsider, it was about meenu's regressive thoughts about girls and their rights on the decisions of their own life!

Why did nanu have to stop abir from confronting meenu? khud toh nahi karte the, abir ko bhi nahi karne diya šŸ˜’

The voice in flashback that kunal remembered was so not shweta's. šŸ˜† so they indeed did the casting later or changed it. btw kunal at least showed remorse of the way he spoke to mish (this was what I was speaking before, that he at least used to regret but meenu? zilch, nada.)

kunal walks in as abir is making some good points ( love that dialogue that a wife isn't a pet who will follow you whichever way you go). kunal is in no mood to listen to abir

Kuhu asking Bp about what mishti did was right or wrong seemed like a reflection of writers' own thoughts and a point they wanted to bring across. which was good. I dont remember otherwise when BP and kuhu had a good talk and him making her understand some valid points.

Anyhow, so tomorrow onwards, mishbir journey starts 🄳

Bold: That was the biggest irony! It would have been better if the Maheshwaris made sure Naman went to jail for a long time for attacking his own daughter. They had enough clout and power to make sure of that! Why would a girl need to marry to be safe from her criminal father? No logic at all

yup, shaheer and rupal both being powerhouse performers made those scenes impactful šŸ‘šŸ¼

Maybe becuase BM sensed that a house where there is a lady don like meenu would be best place for mishti to be safe šŸ˜† i mean she had secret agents, access to kidnappers and so on. so maybe it was not about kunal the savior after all but meenu the don 😈

ikr? i mean whatever she was accusing mish for, it was what kunal and she did. ulta chor kotwal ko daante šŸ˜”

Mish spoke her mind to elders in her family but meenu was an outsider no? so i felt she should have stpped back once she was done making her point to kunal. she was a kid after all in front of meenu. but anyhow, BP later handled meenu.

bold - tell me about it! that meenu made no sense at all (at least whatever little sense she made in these initial episodes). she looked like a maniac, possesed mad woman in the nannu track episodes so yeah even I forward it then.
