Kunal declared he doesn’t want to see Mishti’s face again
BM cries out to him to stop, she trips and almost falls, Abir stops her fall, she begs him to stop Kunal
Meenu says he won’t return because Mishti broke the alliance
Nidhi asks Meenu about their gifts Meenu chides her and tells Parul to manage her
Mishti apologizes to BP that she didn’t want to create a scene
Meenu taunts that she’s saying this after insulting her son in front of everyone
Mishti tells her she wanted to talk to Kunal in private
Abir asks Mishti why did she break the alliance
Meenu says because she was never serious about this alliance, she treated the courtship as a joke
Abir rebuked Meenu that he was asking Mishti so let her answer
Mishti said perhaps this courtship was a joke, she had thought she would get to know Kunal, she felt she and Kunal were similar in their choices. But they’re completely different from EO, this courtship was forced on Kunal he didn’t want to make an effort and Mishti didn’t want to force anyone else to make efforts
Mishti looked at Abir accusingly, he remembers Kunal begging him he has no time, then Abir sending flowers and poetry on his behalf, he looks guilty and steps back.
Mishti says because of her many people were troubled, some less some more (again looks at Abir) Mishti says again she didn’t want to create a scene, the way it happened was wrong but what happened wasn’t wrong
Meenu says does she mean Kunal’s heart breaking wasn’t wrong? Mishti says it wasn’t worse than spending whole life with wrong life partner. She and Kunal know each other very well now and he’s not the right life partner for her. She doesn’t remember her own parents that well but she knows they weren’t right for each other, their marriage was a big mistake and she doesn’t want to repeat their mistake
Meenu tells Mishti to stop crying as she should be grateful to Kunal for agreeing to the courtship inspite of being unwilling. Otherwise no family in Rajkot would agree to a courtship, yet Mishti rejected such a good boy like Kunal
BP says he regrets what happened, Meenu says alliance didn’t break but was broken by Mishti inspite of them agreeing to her conditions but still she rejected Kunal
BP says so that’s your main gripe that the alliance was broken by my daughter not your son. He says in a marriage the girls family loses a daughter, boys family doesn’t lose anything. Still boys family thinks they’re doing a favor by making the alliance. Meenu says this is the rules of society, nobody tolerates attitude from girl’s family. And society likes girls who are seen not heard.
BP fires back, Meenu is also her father’s daughter yet she can be seen and heard!
Meenu says she will definitely speak out when it’s her son’s matter.
Nanu tells Meenu they should leave. Meenu says of course they will leave but after they leave no other alliance will come to this house.
Abir stops Meenu that she’s said enough already but now she’s just venting her anger and frustration
RJVs leave, Mishti looks tearfully at Abir.
Mishti cries, BP comforts her, says he had said her happiness was most important to him. Abir looks back at them sadly
BM crying and breaking all decorations in the house, all of them stop her. BP asks why she’s doing this, she says it’s all her fault. Mishti asks how is it her fault? BM says because she let Naman Aggarwal win! She couldn’t stop his attempts to ruin everything
RJV house- Abir tells Meenu her upbringing won and Kunal lost. Meenu says an insignificant alliance broke, this won’t break Kunal
Abir says when an alliance breaks other things break too, today Nanko’s heart broke his confidence broke! Parul says but what is BB’s fault in this? Koshlu also defends Meenu, nanu tries to take Abir away. Nidhi says it’s all Mishti’s fault. Abir asks why, because she’s a girl? Meenu says yes, a girl cannot break off an alliance
Abir asks then why did they break Ketu’s alliance? The boy was wrong so what? They could have forgiven him as boys make mistakes! Can they go Ved’s house now and renew the alliance? Abir says all rules and regulations are only for others daughter not for our family’s daughter?
Meenu says it’s not about different families daughters, that girl broke Kunal’s heart and he’s already gone through heartbreak once. He will break completely
Abir asks Meenu if she was so concerned about Kunal why didn’t she stop him from judging Mishti for her father’s crimes? She should have told Kunal to trust her. Meenu says Mishti isn’t worthy of trust!
Abir says whatever happened is neither Kunal’s nor Mishti’s fault, it’s Meenu’s attitude problem. Mish broke Kunal’s heart but because of Meenu
Nanu tells Abir this isn’t the right time to fight but to think about Kunal, where is he?
Kunal driving stops the car, remembers Shwrta rejecting him last year, saying it was for their own benefit. Kunal thinks he shouldn’t have spoken to Mishti like that, it wasn’t his way but he didn’t have any other option, she didn’t deserve him! (That’s Kunal’s internal struggle between Abir’s and Meenu’s influence)
Abir tells nanu he knows where Kunal probably went but the problem is in their family not outside
Meenu says if she’s the problem, then Abir shouldn’t leave it incomplete , he should vent all his bitterness
Mishti tells BM that her papa didn’t win, he was just an excuse, her alliance broke when she realized Kunal wasn’t the right match for her. She just wishes it didn’t happen in front of everyone, she didn’t want to say all those things to Kunal’s mom
Abir tells Meenu she won’t be able to hear all he has to say. Meenu tells him to go ahead, she wants to know what’s so special about Mishti that he’s gone against his mom ( when was he in her favor?)
Abir says Meenu is herself a working woman but when Kunal stopped Mishti from working why didn’t she stop Kunal and rebuke him? Why are the rules of being an ideal Indian housewife different for her and for Mishti?
Meenu says Kunal wanted a housewife, what’s wrong with that? Abir says it’s not wrong but forcing your own wishes on others is wrong!
Why didn’t Meenu stop Kunal from suggesting eye surgery? Meenu says that was Kunal’s wish not hers. Abir says he can’t force his wish on other’s life, whether wife or girlfriend. Every girl is a person in her own right, she has her own will her own POV, she’s not anyone’s property! A wife is a companion who walks with you on every path! Not an animal to be led on any path you want to! Kunal wasn’t like this, Meenu made him like that!
Kunal enters the house and yells at Abir to stop! He asks why Abir is blaming them after what happened! Abir says they were all at fault so all should be blamed. But biggest culprit was their mother’s because she didn’t stop Kunal but encouraged him! It wasn’t Mishti’s fault.
Kunal gets mad that Abir was blaming mom because of Mishti. Is her friendship so important to him that he’s going against his own family? Instead of supporting Kunal why is he supporting Mishti when he’s right?
Abir says that’s the problem with boys as they’re taught from childhood that they’re never wrong, it’s always the girl’s fault and Boys think that’s the truth
Abir tells Kunal to look at it once from Mishti’s POV then he will understand. He tells Kunal he was never so self centered. Kunal says what is Mishti then, it was she who demanded courtship, nanu asked Kunal why did he agree to courtship if he had a problem with it? Abir says when it’s your own fault you can’t blame others
If Kunal felt Mishti wasn’t the right girl for him what would he do? Would he still marry her? He would reject her, but Mishti did the same and he can’t accept it because it’s just his male ego that he can’t accept this!
Kunal asks Abir is yelling at him because of a girl?
Parul tells them to calm down, not to fight, Kunal rudely tells her not to talk in between
Abir rebukes him that talking rudely to maasi won’t make him right!
Kunal tells Abir he’s wrong in going against his family for Mishti’s sake.
Kunal tells Meenu to come along, Meenu tells him Abir is his older brother, he should placate him, she cannot to see her sons fighting like this, going away from each other
Kunal says what can he do, bhai doesn’t have time for them anymore
Both brothers go upstairs on opposite sides
Meenu looks disturbed
Jasmeet gives water to Mishti who refuses it, she asks how is BM? Jas says she’s in her room, Shaurya and BP are with her. She asks Mishti why did she break the alliance? The boy was fair and handsome and good. Mish says he was good but not for her. They’re too different. Jas asked why didn’t she realize it before? When priest had come (priest for GD?)
starters were being served then she realized? Didn’t she understood when Kunal insisted on her laser surgery? Jas tells Mishti she doesn’t understand that she broke off an alliance
Mishti says she didn’t want to break it she wanted it to be the most beautiful relationship in her life and she tried her best but didn’t succeed
Varsha comes and asks if Mishti is alright. Mishti asks how are the others doing? Varsha says after what happened how would anyone be okay. Mishti says she didn’t want to reject like that. Varsha says but she did and they will all bear the consequences
Parul placing jars on kitchen shelves and almost drops one but Meenu catches it
She apologizes to Meenu (why?) Meenu tells her not to break down but to control herself. She’s always supported Meenu.
Meenu was shocked this time but she’s never accepted defeat! And she won’t lose at any cost Parul says she cannot see this, Kunal and Abir are blood brothers and ...Meenu shushes her and warns her not to say another word. She says they have always found a way out in every problem.
BP comes to the girl’s room and asks Kuhu how is Mishti? Kuhu said mish is fine. BP says the sisters love each other so much they can feel each other’s pain. Mishti is hurt today
Kuhu asks BP was Mishti right in what she did?
BP says if it wasn’t right Mishti wouldn’t do it. Kuhu asks then why are so many people think it’s wrong? BP says sometimes it’s hard to tell what’s right and wrong but then one shouldn’t listen to others but only what one’s heart wants. Because the heart never lies. If the heart says it’s right then it’s right! BP asks if Mishti is sleeping Kuhu says yes. Later Kuhu checks the bed, Mishti isn’t there.
Dhamakedaar episode with lots of drama and fights! Abir the feminist! BP the staunch supporter of his daughter’s decisions! They were such ideal men in the beginning!
