Is it just me who didn't really 'enjoy' today's confrontation.

It looked forced and too over the top. Being a rather non-TV watcher, I always find such scenes where guests loudly pass comments against someone and incite others very annoying and unreal.

But I was left a bit confused and dissatisfied with the way the entire scene played out. For almost the entire confrontation, when the family ganged up to insult Sai, Virat was siding with her. But as soon as Bhavani threatened to leave and walked away, Virat sided with PP's gyaan of respecting elders and told Sai, "Kaku means a lot to me". It took him just a few seconds to change his stand in public?

What a sudden U-turn, when you have just given a lecture on "wife's self respect"?

And Sai ran to stop Bhavani for Virat, not PP so what was the 'head nodding thank you' for PP at the end of it for?

The episode didn't really live up to expectations. The scene could have been better written to justify the situation.

I totally understand where you’re coming from. It was a truly OTT way with the entire scene, but the purpose of the scene was to show that Sai isn’t going to be quietly intaking insults ever in the house. I have been a ITV audience so maybe why I am used to seeing such kind of confrontational scenes. Personally, for me, dramatic scenes never hold much importance in itself other than showing some level of character development for the character directly involved. And here it was Sai who with her maturity stood up for herself but also became the greater person to bring back Bhavani. I don’t even expect Bhavani to change so I will never expect her to realize her mistakes. It’s about perspectives, and Virat was not completely wrong in the end either. Many a times even when it’s not our mistake we have to be the bigger person and take control of the situation. If we go with the heat of the moment things can really take an ugly turn. But what I do wish happened was for Virat to say that himself and Pakhi to not barge in with her opinion. It’s almost like he said that just to support pakhi. I would have respected his perspective more if it came out of him and himself only. Nobody asked for Pakhi’s opinion there.

The confrontation part was too ott. Though when they spoke about Kamal, Sai was right to get angry.

But the way the whole thing was executed was a bit odd to me, I mean in reception in front of all guests who fights like that

But okay for a change I liked an FL who didn't take everything silently in the name of family izzat. Although it could have been executed better

Agree completely regarding Virat like dude decide what do you want. If he didn't want Kaku to get hurt why the hell was he giving that proud looks when Sai was fighting with Kaku and suddenly when she was leaving Kaku seems to have become important to him. Or rather majers wanna show him not opposing pakhi. As soon as pakhi told you should not have done this this guy flipped and supported Pakhi🤢 and I found it very distasteful

And his last nod to her🤢 as if telling we successfully handled the situation😕 or Sai

I find this whole Virakhi interaction cringey

This man is not mentally stable he himself does know what he wants...

Sometimes it seems like he wants both ladies and he's just blurting his words has no meanings....he himself does not consider what he's saying.

He's as fake as Pakhi.

I don't even talk about today's episode..usually, I see the same episode more than once cuz they are so good and I can't get enough. However, today's episode was so disappointing at many levels. I was so hyped up, but boii it was a huge letdown.

@ Bold completly agree. Virat is in transition phase. Completely compliant, people pleaser to standing up for oneself/wife. He values his family like anything (almost blindly). He wants to stand up for Sai but does not want to break the family either. He himself nodded in displeasure when Kaku threatened to leave and understood that the confrontation is crossing the limit. Pakhi interupted later.

Rather I found that look which he and Sai shared about not stretching things too much quite deep. Sai understood him in a moment and changed her stance and managed the situation.

But it was definitely OTT drama and could be better executed.

@ bold Oh thank you for bringing that up because it was striking me as well. Their understanding thru facial expressions comes across very nicely in that scene. Even after wards the affirmation that both had and the smiles was cute. The episode definitely was weak in terms of presentation, but I don’t like to dwell on drama much. After all itv will always be ITV.

That's the summary. I am okay that he didn't want Kaku to leave along with her Makad gang - actually he didn't even care that much about the gang as much as Kaku leaving. But the way it was executed with PP butting in as the sane one and Virat going on to give Sai 'Pakhi theek bol rahi hai'.. I mean, I would have had it okay if he had ignored the Pakhi gyaan and just said the rest of the stuff about how Kaku is important and let's go and get her. Him suddenly siding with Sai all through the argument and then suddenly turning about to say Pakhi theek bol rahi hai was like finding lemon skin in cappuccino. 🤔

Exactly. He wasn't even actually looking at PP but suddenly their eyes met and he saw her standing close and looking at him as usual so compulsively had to nod in a thank you. It was a total let down. No matter how unbelievable the whole 'funny' scene with Bhavani was, I would have liked if Virat had just walked up to Sai directly and avoided that Pakhi nod.
