Regarding offscreen

This has been in my mind recently so I decided to just pour it out here. We all know there’s a lot of things happening offscreen. Good and bad. I just wanted to share my thoughts here. First, it’s no surprise that our show barely gets any offscreen promotion. Maybe if we are lucky once a month but that’s about it. And if we are really really lucky then Abrar posts a Rusha/Abrargun picture but this is a once in a blue moon case. 🤣 Anyways, what I have written below is only for some people so if it doesn’t apply to you then feel free to ignore. Also, DISCLAIMER this is just my opinion and a couple other people that I found agree with me!

Now to get on with some of the things that I have been witnessing that have been making me slightly uncomfortable to witness. I might be the minority here so feel free to disagree with me but things like the “tinky” stuff I find to be going a bit overboard. Regardless of what equation Sargun and Abrar share it is no surprise that they like to keep it private for whatever reason and I respect that. Although it is annoying that we don’t get offscreen pictures but at this point I have zero expectations regarding that. 😆 But I find publicly commenting under Sargun’s posts things like “Abu ki tinky” and etc. might make them uncomfortable. That wasn’t something either of them shared with us. Aish did in her live. They might have not even wanted us to know it so us constantly commenting that under their posts seem cringey more than anything. A little joke here and there is fine but constantly commenting that is sort of weird.

I find even things like “Abrar opened his DM option so that Sargun doesn’t get bashed” sort of LOL worthy because him opening his DMs isn’t going to stop anyone from bashing Sargun. If he truly did care, which he totally might, then he would have maybe posted a clear cut story asking people to not bash Sargun previously when that poor girl was getting bashed left and right for just breathing. That was not done. Instead a story was made by him that if we don’t distinguish between reel and real life then we should stop watching the show. That being said, you guys are free to believe whatever you want, however, the constant explicit shipping of Abrargun is sort of weird when both of them seem to be in a relationship. At least Abrar definitely seems to be in one- toxic or not. Also, it is very obvious that Abrar’s gf is nothing but toxic after all the activity she has engaged in but till how long are we going to keep saying poor Abrar is in a toxic relationship let’s cut him some slack. I mean it’s been a solid 3-4 months of us saying that. He isn’t a baby in diapers to not get out of the relationship if it really is so toxic as some of us make it out to be. I also find us giving Abrar way more benefit of doubt than he deserves but each their own. Clearly he still manages to make time to hang out with her so they still have some kind of a relationship going on. Let’s please respect Abrar and Sargun’s friendship and kindly stop interlinking onscreen scenes with offscreen by saying things like “Their onscreen scene was so powerful so they definitely have something going on offscreen.” Watch the show as a show and appreciate the friendship Abrar and Sargun share. I promise this shipping thing is not worth the time and efforts for you and your mental peace. Trust me. I have been there and done that. I am afraid seeing some people , mainly on Twitter and Instagram, being delusional so I decided to make this post here. It’s ok if you want to believe a certain something but at least don’t publicly post about it. That’s what group chats are for. 😆

I agree with mostly everything you have mentioned but I would say IF is more sane than the other the other mediums. 🤣 I don’t see much delusional people here. Mostly just on twitter and insta but I do agree that the blatant shipping some people do should be stopped. It might be even making Sargun and Abrar uncomfortable if they are really in a relationship with other people. Like you said. Let’s respect them.

I agree with the giving Abrar benefit of doubt part. The amount of benefit of doubt some fans give is 😆 He must be certainly lucky to have those fans. I used to but not anymore ever since I realized it’s me whose the real fool. 🤣

What is so uncomfortable exactly? They can’t handle the IMMENSE love thrown at them? It’s too much? this show has given them the fame their previous work HAS NOT! Part of being a celebrity means having to deal with the GOOD AND BAD!

Did you see how crazily people shipped Sanaya and Barun? That didn’t stop them from being normal offscreen. They’re literally best friends, like family! That’s how you deal with all this. What fans say shouldn’t impact relationships. If they do, then they’re not very strong in the first place.

You think every Srkajol fan who desperately wanted them married affected their friendship? My point is that a popular ONSCREEN pairing will be shipped OFFSCREEN! Even then RuSha fans Do everything with a sense of humour.

I’ve said this before. Any celeb who can’t handle offscreen shipping doesn’t really know the rules of fame. Just get on with your work and fans will eventually move on if nothing happens.

The less we say about that toxic partner the better :)

It is crystal clear that Sargun doesn’t have any issues with him so yeah we don't really have any complaints there.

Did AbrarGun in anyone convey to you that they are uncomfortable?? If so please let us know. Probably that would be more effective instead of calling out fans who are just trying to have some fun.

What you said!!! Last I thought it was a free world. Free to watch what show you want. What actors you want to ship and what you want to say.
not just srk-kajol, that way toh practically all offscreen jodi fans would have to stop if actors get so ‘uncomfortable’

and in our case, despite the teasing, the actors are doing cool and cracking jokes! Considering there’s a page called YHCtweets that most of them repost from that and that page has suggestive tweets.

yes sargun reposted. And called him a name too. She’s actually liking some funny comments. He’s no less too, what is all those mood stories about? He does stuff that gets tongue wagging too. They both know what they are doing and the implications of it and they seem to be having fun with it.

the whole drama of abrar and SS is very public. Even if anyone wanted to, it’s hard to not get involved or have an opinion. But it’s your choice not to if you don’t want to. But why preach and lecture others? Have your opinion and keep it yourself.

There’s is always going to be that one bitter person with multiple accounts who will hate on abrar, but doesn’t matter there are plenty who love him instead!!!! They tried to dampen the mood on IG but failed, then on twitter and now here. If chattering about offscreen stuff is keeping forum activity high, what’s the problem lol?

And let’s face it rusha/ Abrargun have very very intense chemistry , the best anyone has seen. So shippers will exist, making party pooping posts like this isn’t going to stop the party. There are too many shippers and you’ll want to call them all delusional??? 😂😂😂

theres clearly a lot of stuff going on that we don’t have idea about, but people are starting to notice. We can just watch what we see and crack jokes. That’s all.

As long as abrar and sargun are okay, they aren’t DMing you guys personally or their family members- then why have a problem? Just have chai and chill.

First of all I don't think this topic has any relevance on IF because nobody here is a delusional shipper, we just have some harmless shipping or fun in our ATs .. that's it.. But off-screen posts usually bring in lot of comments which can help in forum activity😆, so you are welcome to post your opinions..

However, such posts are never going to change anything.. shippers will ship & Sargun fans will remain her fans & Abrar fans will remain his fans.. If the intention of the post was to make people stop shipping or make people stop stanning Abrar..I don't think that's going to be successful😆

To make it clear, I'm not a shipper neither I fangirl any actor or actress.. I appreciate actors talent and chemistry in a show, then move on when the show is over.. But I love shippers of any FD, because they are the most fun people who keep an FD entertaining (ignoring the few extreme cases).. I agree commenting on every post of actors or supporting cast and forcing them to give off-screen content is not a good practice (What's the use of getting forced content) Healthy shippers can try to avoid or minimize that.. it's maturity but I don't think it affect actors or make them uncomfortable.. every popular onscreen jodi is shipped by fans & actors knows that and ignores it.. Actors don't live their life based on fans opinions & comments.. So as long as they are cool with each other (which I'm sure Abrargun are) & fans are just having fun, there is not much of a problem..

Hello, so nice of you to create a newbie Id on if just to indirectly mock and shade abrar regarding stuff happening on ig and twitter. Why not post about the same on twitter and ig instead? Why bring the irrelevant topic to if? No one gave you any bhaav there is it?

Also very very nice how you're narrative started with they're uncomfortable but ended with just ranting about abrar. Please go ahead and start an I hate abrar topic upfront if you want to diss him do not shroud it in the name of being a neutral , atleast whatever the "delusional" people on twitter and ig are doing they're doing it directly.

If the actors are uncomfortable they'll speak out they have their personal handles for that. If they are uncomfortable itll reflect in their scenes. And most importantly if they are having fun with all the attention and memes and what not I am sure as "non delusional fans" no one should have a problem with it.

And finally the opening dm post was mine on twitter if you had a problem you shouldve dmed me directly and I would have explained to you that sometimes actions speak louder than words when all your words are blown out of proportion and we love BOTH of them enough to read and understand their actions. He doesnt get benefit of doubt in khairat. He gets it because he does stuff like posting the DO YOU picture before sargun when everyone was tired of the MU track. And so many more things. But ok haters goanna hate not everyone can get it.

agree! They are celebrities and to an extent they should see all this shipping coming their way, mainly, with the kind of chemistry they share.

You made some good points! I do realize there are some celebs that do not mind the shipping but the celebrities that I have stanned in the past Erica, Shaheer, and Zain to name a few have actually mentioned about how it makes relationship with their coactors pretty awkward with all the shipping unless they are like BFFs then it doesn’t affect them. I was going off of their views. Thus, in my opinion, again in MY opinion, I felt like it would be better if we minimize the explicit shipping. Clearly Abrargun want to keep things private so I felt like we should respect that. I do agree that as celebs they should know these kind of things come with being famous and with sharing amazing (in Abrargun’s case more than amazing ) onscreen chemistry so I guess it doesn’t matter too much.

PS- Barun was married at that point. Not like it makes a difference but still wanted to mention it. Also, Barun didn’t make a post to distinguish between reel vs. real. 😊

I don't know what you mean when you say new account. If you look at my posts you can tell that I have posted before. This isn't the first time. My account has been around for months. I am not very active on here but I have posted before and contributed to other topics as well like the episode updates.

red- Of course not. People will be people. I was expressing my opinion and making a request. Whether people follow along with it or not is their choice. This is a forum where I believe I can exercise freedom of speech so I did.

blue- No. However, I have seen several actors like Erica and Zain who have conveyed how shipping makes them uncomfortable so when I saw some of the extreme shipping going on I included this in the post. Also, if you noticed I included words like "might" and "maybe". Also, I started of my post with "IN MY OPINION". Even made it bold and in red so that you all won't miss it yet it seems like you still missed it. Here's an advice- next time try to read something to understand and not to merely respond since it doesn't seem like you even read what I wrote correctly.

Also, if you have seen my past posts you will see that I have praised Abrar as an actor several times even particularly talking about how it was him who made me start watching the show and how he is becoming one fabulous actor. I stan him as an actor and will always wish him the best for his career. Always. Because the growth he has shown as an actor is something I haven't seen before.
