First of all you cant compare stardom of today to those times. There are lot of means available today to be famous and be always in public eye. But forget that fact as well... You asked. was she big deal in 80s.. well according to me she was good enough famous and made many go starstruck.. Srk also spoke about it on the show.

Why should it be? Katrina is one of our most popular actresses and quite a hardworker. But 30 years from now when they'll be talking about powerful female actors of this decade, her name will nowhere be on the list. Neelam has acted with all the popular actors of the 80s Govinda,MithunSalman Khan,Sanjay Dutt,Jackie Shroff,Rishi Kapoor etc. Anytime you needed a westernized pretty girl, a girl friend/wife to a younger son or a second lead Neelam would fit the role. But she never had the acting chops or dancing skills of Sreedevi, Madhuri, Juhi or Meenakshi Seshadri. She often came across as bland but not objectionable. It's no wonder the current audience is not familiar with her. Because she has never had that 'breakout' role which made her stand out from the crowd.

he was being sarcastic lol..which neelam failed to get lol..that was one of the funniest things on the show

I liked it, I mean it’s not some pathbreaker but it’s not meant to be, it was fun!

Chunky and Sanjay should feature more. 😆

Samir’s social anxiety was interesting to see, how he didn’t fit in so well.

Of the girls Neelam and Seema I liked best. Seema is hilarious. Bhavana was decent. Maheep in the trailer I didn’t like at all but she was alright in the show, annoying and irritating but ok for the show.

At the end we see Neelam in the zoom call saying she’s returning to acting, I wonder if it’s the show Ekta offered her in one of the episodes, cos Ekta posted a video of them hanging out at her place when the show started streaming 🤔 . If so it will be interesting.

Can anyone tell me why do they have fake accents? I get Neelam lived overseas but what about others? Why do they have this fake accent? What do they get from it?

Neelam has hers coz she lived overseas and Maheep has lived in quite some cities, born in London then loved in South Africa, Middle East (I think?) and Australia. The other two had normal accents.
