Saif and Kareena them selves live in a small apartment. He himself has referred to his apartment as "small and cozy" and that if he moves into a bigger place they might lose that intimacy.

He was comparing being in Mumbai to enjoying the scenic dharamshala. Ironically he compared his OWN living situation, which I don't think people can imagine being his situation lol.

Is there a bet going on between dumb and dumber couple, that you do word vomit one day and I will do you better next time in interview.

"They are not beautiful clothes. There's probably a kurta-pyjama (ethnic menswear), but there is good wine, and there's good jazz. There's a balcony that's very small. Sometimes we have six friends, seven friends over, and they all fit in that tiny balcony and I always remember that if we move to a bigger place, that we don't forget the intimacy of this flat because the people who like each other always manage to fit in that balcony, in the most incredible nooks and crannies." - Saif

I mean sharmila lives in the Pataudi palace but Saif has been living in Mumbai for years in apartments haha. Anyone that's seen any photos of Saif and Kareena's apartment knows is pretty small and crowded with random stuff. He himself was talking about how it's starting to feel like cabins fever in his apartment during lockdown.

Hence comparing that to being able to be in a procession which allows him to travel away from the crowded city life.
I don't think his statement was meant to be derogatory at all. He was just comparing city life to being a scenic shoot like dharamshala (where he is at the moment)

Thank you for clearing that up. An no I don’t believe he was insulting anyone either. He’s talking about how anyone can get testy being in one place for long periods of time
