Omg dude!! Tell me about it. It still pisses me off 😡
They ruined 8 seasons of character growth of Jon Snow by not letting him be the one to take down the night king ughh!
Actually, there were supposed to be 10 seasons originally. Season 8 would have been only about the night king, season 9 about Cersie’s downfall and 10 about mad queen Dany but D&D ruined it all by rushing the series.
D&D no longer wanted to work on got as they had been burnt out and production was too tough and too long for them and so they wanted a change in scenery.
Plus some actors (mainly Sansa and Arya waali actresses) wanted to quit and transition to movies (like how Jennifer Aniston wanting to leave Friends and do movies was a major reason for it ending).
On top of that D&D were offered to run the Star Wars movie series after part 9 ended which they were really interested in doing. So for all the reasons above mentioned they rushed season 8 and destroyed the whole legacy of the show lol
Aur phir they got fired from Star Wars due to all the fan backlash they received 😂😂. Khair they still ended up with a good deal since Netflix has signed a $200 million deal with them to create shows for Netflix lol.But nonetheless I’m still pissed as hell with them for ruining Got a show I had been following since when season 1 aired (cuz I had read the books earlier). Morons ruined 10 years of my investment lol
Anyways, I’m hoping this spinoff will be good cuz the creator of this show is the guy who directed Hardhome, battle of the bast*rds and the winds of winter (some of the best got eps ever).
Yeah I heard about this! I am on reddit for GoT, if you ever joined not sure but a very solid community. They ruined everything, I was not convinced how Dany just suddenly lost her shit, it made no sense and D&D deserve to get fired for the shit they pulled. Cersei literally died due to a roof collapsing on her after ALL that.
I think it will be good no doubt but what's the point if there is no pay off. They should have contracts in place knowing exact seasons in mind so storyline is crisp.
