still more personality than most other new heroines we have. and she does have dancing talent, really did keep up with varun in the Bhabhi song out now.

Spot on! About the skin colour thing.. I believe her intentions were righ. She could have worded it differently maybe but then even that wouldn't have mattered since some people find Sara breathing irksome too. With 'what is pressure?' she was trying to help girls be more confident and comfortable in their own skin. There are always going to be people around who'd make you feel bad by saying stuff and if we keep waiting for them to learn and change, it might not happen, so the truly empowering thing is to accept oneself because pressure is pressure as long as you let it be. People stop pressuring you when they realise that you aren't bothered by their opinions. And as much as we try to change the mindset, there's still going to be someone who's going to be an ignorant fool and say hurtful stuff, so we should first start by accepting ourselves keh haan main tau aisi hi hoon your opinion doesn't matter.

and put that in the trailer too. in the second half, she was decent, her parts with randeep and with kartik in the second half were watchable.

the mujhe tang karne lage sequence in the movie was crazy with the weird angles, loud music, and rapping song after that.

no one is obligated to like her but I still like her that she is bright, articulate and a bit funny.

Same. I find her extremely bright, eloquent, and witty.

I’m sure there is bias against her. I’m sure I’m guilty of being biased against her. But some things are facts and beyond bias. She handled the skin color topic and the weight issue horribly and any excuses for it are just that, excuses. Her PR has made sure everyone knows she’s a Columbia graduate, educated and articulate. An educated and articulate person should know better than to say if you don’t like your dark skin put white powder on your face. That wasn’t her showing girls how to be confident. That was her basically telling girls these societal issues and pressures are not relevant for anyone to worry about so just slap some white powder on your face and move on.

Oh and then there was her “All lives matter” Instagram post over the summer. She lived in New York for four years and yet she doesn’t know how racist that slogan is? I know quite a few Bollywood actors posted that. But this girl constantly reminds people of her Columbia NY education. She should have known better. Unless she just doesn’t care.

From her problematic filmfare photo shoot where a guy from Maasai tribe was used as a prop, her ignorant answer about skin color discrimination, her "All lives matter" post to her recent answer about less screen time ( wtf is apki aukaat nahi hoti in front of RS and Varun?!) Sara is the fakest of them all. She makes Ananya seem more likeable. The worst of all is if she was in Hollywood she would have been cancelled but Nawab ji ki beti is too privileged to see that fate in Bollywood. People are already feeling bad for her because she got into the drug mess thanks to her proximity to Rhea.

aukaat nahin, I doubt anyone expects Sara Ali Khan to demand the same salary and screen time as ranveer and varun,if she said the opposite, she would be crucified. in this actually she is absolutely right. deepika maybe should but now a newbie. she can ask for the same screen time as ishaan etc.

and likable things about her again it may seem childish and minuscule,but her simple knock knock jokes and Sara ki shayari etc distinguish her from the many vanilla cookie cutter heroines out there.
