This is an ff which shows the love story of Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor(according to my imagination)

Characters

Sonam Kapoor

A sweet an adorable actress. Inspite of being the daughter of a very famous actor,Anil kapoor..she is very modest and humble. She is also very fun-loving and is always cheerful.

She admires Sanjay Leela Bhansali a lot.

Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir is a major hunk. He is cool...smart and also a good actor. Many girls were after him but he was always an one-woman man and beleived that he wud find his 'one' someday.

He admired his dad a lot.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika is a supermodel and is very hot. She is just like the other models...spoilt and a big flirt. She acts as if she is very good but is actually a vamp.

Ranbir and Sonam are childhood friends

Chapter I

part 1

"Sona" called a voice from behind Sonam. It was Sanjay Leela Bhansali…her idol…her mentor…her god. "Arre Sanjay ji …aiyye Na!" She was currently working as an assistant director in Sanjay's 'Black'. She was very fervent about working as an assistant director of Sanjay. She was decorating the sets when sanjay approached her. "Sona…mujhe tumse ek bohot important baat karni hai" Sanjay said.

"Mujhse?" Sona was flushing with excitement. Sanjay nodded and took out a bunch of rutted papers from his pocket and handed them to Sona. Sona looked at him with utmost disorientation. "Yeh kyaa hai?" she asked, confused. "Khud hi khol ke dekho!" A slender smile played around his lips. As Sona opened the papers and spread them out…She saw this-

It was the script of his next film. "OH MY GOD!!!!" Sona exclaimed. "This script says.....says..." Sona had difficulty in forming the words.

"says you're gonna star in my next film" Sanjay finished the sentence for her. She was so overjoyed,she started jumping up and down and gave him a tight hug. "I don't know what to say" she said between gasps. "nothing" Sanjay grinned. "just sign the film!" Sonam shouted out in joy and started bobbing up and down. When her excitement cooled down a little,she asked "Does Ranbir know" "Not yet" Sanjay said.

"Oh please!Let me tell him!!!"sonam said "ohkay...."said Sanjay."but....calm down first!"

Sonam smiled and took out her cell phone.

Sonam and Ranbir were childhood friends. They both belonged to star families and thus,their families were on good terms with each other,thus, they were friends since 3rd grade. They also went to the same school. They were so close friends that there wasn't a single secret of Ranbir that Sonam didn't know and vice-versa. Sonam was so happy that she wanted to give Ranbir the good news herself.

Ranbir was playing soccer when his phone buzzed into action. "Oh man!!" Ranbir muttered. "I hate it when that happens!!" Ranbir gruffly walked over to his bench and took out his cell. He saw it was Sona. Ranbir picked up the phone and said "mera abhi soccer match chal raha hai...main tumhe baad mein phone karta hoon." "this is more important than soccer Bir!" Sona said. "ohkay.....shoot!" Ranbir said. "guess who Sanjay ji is casting in his next film???"Sona said with an excited voice. "shahrukh Khan??" Ranbir said quizzically. "no idiot..." Sona said. "Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor"

"WHAT???" Ranbir was literally bellowing. "DON'T KID ME!!!!"

"I'm not kidding Bir" Sona said. "yeh sach hai"

"Really??????" Ranbir was overjoyed.

"lo...Sanjay ji se baat karo!" Sona then handed the phone to Sanjay and he filled Ranbir in on the details.

That night Ranbir and Sonam's parents decided to throw a party for them.

"Cheers to our children!!" Anil Kapoor said, with his glass held high. "Cheers" chorussed the others. Ranbir and Sonam looked at each other and smiled. They felt very lucky and fotunate to have the oppurtunity to work with their best friend.

Next week was the script reading of Saawariya. there, they met Rani and Salman. Rani was very sweet to them and gave them her heartiest blessings. Salman, on the other hand, had a lovely sense of humour and made them feel at home.

The shooting started within two months. Both Sona and Bir started enjoying working with each other. Sonam always kept making Ranbir laugh by her deliberate clumsiness and her humorous comments. Ranbir always felt happy when he was around Sonam.

Thus, he started sticking to Sonam all the time. They always hung out together on weekends and either went to the Disco or to their favourite restaurant "The Park Regency"

They always had too much fun together.The shooting of saawariya finished within the next three months. On the last day of the shoot, salman came to the sets and saw how well Sonam and ranbir enacted the love scene. He joked "Arre waah!! dekh ke toh lag raha hai ke tum dono sach mein ek couple ho!"

The whole cast and crew broke into laughter except Sonam and Ranbir. Sonam and Ranbir just stood thr and blushed like hell. Both of them somehow felt very conscious....which had never happened before. In the midst of all this, Ranbir's hand accidentally brushed against Sonam's hand. Ranbir did not notice it...but Sonam did. A strange feeling rushed through her spine. She somwhow liked. She kept staring at the area where Ranbir's hand brushed her. Then she quickle pressed a hand to her head and said in an undertone"mai bhi pagal hoon"

That was the beginning.

Chapter 1-part 2

Three months passed away very swiftly. During these three months, Ranbir and Sonam started spending too much time with each other. They always hung out together and kept on discussing about Saawariya. Ranbir used to enjoy a hearty laugh or two when Sonam used to crack her stupendous jokes. Whenever Ranbir, the pessimist between the two, used to think about Saawariya being a flop, Sonam used to say"Bir..chill..jiss film mein SonaBir hain...woh film kabhi flop nehi ho sakti!!"

"Nice name"Ranbir used to say"SONABIR"

"ofcourse acha hoga"Sonam joked"after all hamari baat hain!!"

This way,they stopped the negative thoughts from entering their minds.

The d.day was approaching. Only four weeks were left for the release. Sonam and Ranbir took advantage of the little time left and set out to promote the film. They went to various shows and press meets to promote their film. Once, they had to go to a dance show called 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' where they were asked to dance. Sonam got very nervous at the thought of dancing with Ranbir.She hid her nervousness well by goofing around in the practise sessions.But, just before going on stage, she walked upto Ranbir and said "Bir, I'm nervous". Ranbir clasped her hand and said "don't worry...tum meri taraf dekhna...aur kahin nehi...nervousness chala jayega" Sonam somehow felt an urge of hugging him but then stopped herself because the director had already shouted "Lights...Camera...Action!!"

Ranbir smiled at Sonam and headed for the stage. As Sonam entered the dance floor, she noticed a tremendous amount of audience seated in the stands. She quickly bowed and went over to Ranbir. 'I can't do this" she whispered to him. "Don't worry" Ranbir muttered to her and clutched her hand quickly and swung her around. Sonam concentrated looked into Ranbir's deep blue eyes. Then, she forgot everything else. She felt as if only she and Ranbir was in the room. She swayed along with Ranbir and moved with his body. Their movements were so unanimous that it felt as if they had become one. But, unfortunately, their performance ended pretty soon. The crowd broke into applause. Sonam looked at Ranbir whispered to him "Thanks" "you're welcome babes" said Ranbir. Then, they walked upto their seats. During the whole show, Sonam's gaze kept shifting towards Ranbir. But, Ranbir was so engrossed in the show that he failed to notice Sonam's gaze on him.

That night, when Ranbir drove Sonam to her house at night. Sonam said "agar aaj tum nehi hote to pata nehi mera kya hota!"

"Sona...main toh yaha tumhe sambhalne ke liye hi toh hoon...aur main tumhe zindagi bhar sambhalta rahunga"

Sonam stared at Ranbir with immense gratitude and amazement. A slight blush appeared on her cheeks.She felt as if she was on top of the world. "What is happening to me???" she said to herself as she walked over to the gates of her house.

Chap 1-Part 3

It was 11:30 at night. Every single member of the Kapoor (Rishi) household was fast asleep in their respective bedrooms except Ranbir. Ranbir was pacing up and down his bedroom, creases of nervousness distorting his handsome face. He couldn't sleep. Tension was broiling in the pit of his stomach and squirming through his intestines. The only thought which was crossing his mind at the moment was "What if it's a flop??" Saawariya was supposed to release the following morning. His parents had tried their best to encourage him by saying that he would look good in every role but he still sensed that the pressure was on him. While pacing up and down, his gaze fell on his mirror and he was very much repelled at what he saw. The undersides of his eyes were feint with an inch of dark circles. He had not slept for the past week and his head was spiraling with thoughts of Saawariya. He was plain and simple tired. He tried to focus his thoughts by trying to sleep but all he was able to do was lie there and blink at the ceiling. Finally, he got aggravated and picked up his cell phone. He dialled the number which was at the top of his 'received calls' list. It was Sonam's number. Sonam was at home enjoying a good night's sleep, having wonderful dreams about Brad Pitt, when her cell phone buzzed into life. Her eyes opened with a shot. She picked up the phone and said "hello" sleepily. "Hey" said Ranbir in a small voice, realizing that he was disturbing her."BIR???" Sonam bellowed from the other end of the receiver ''tum abhi tak soye nehi???" ''woh...actually...umm..." Ranbir tried his best to hide the fact that he was nervous. "Tum nervous the?" Sonam completed his sentence. "Iss mein chupaane waali koi baat nehi hai!" Sonam said, reading his mind. "Woh...actually" said Ranbir "Tum hamesha gussa hoti ho issliye!" "Arre yaar Bir" said Sonam. "Tension sab ko hoti hai! Chill...kal sab theek hoga!" Ranbir somehow felt a weird and wonderful sense of reassurance at her words. "Thanks...what would I have done without you!" said Ranbir with gratitude. "Chill..." said Sonam "Dost iss ke liye hi toh hote hai" "phir bhi" said Ranbir "Thanks". "Mention not!" said Sonam, giggling.

The next day dawned in very brightly. Sonam rose early and opened her window and let the sunrays enter her room and tingle her senses. "Today's the day!" she said to herself"let's see what happens!" Miles away, in Ranbir's room, Ranbir's heart was thumping with apprehension. "Hope everything goes right' he said, with his fingers crossed. Suddenly, his cell rang. He saw that it was Sanjay. "Sanjay ji...iss wakt??" he muttered under his breath and picked up the phone. "Hello...Ranbir" came Sanjay's voice from the other side of the receiver. "Yes Sir" Ranbir said obediently. "Come to my office immediately with Sonam...we need to talk".

"We have a problem guys" said Sanjay to Ranbir and Sonam. They were in Sanjay's office. Sanjay looked concerned about something. "Shahrukh Khan's film is also releasing today" said Sanjay. "So...there are chances that his film may attract more viewers than ours will" "OH NO!" said Ranbir. "Off Ranbir!" said Sonam. "Tum hamesha negative kyu sochte ho? Sanjay ji said that there are chances that our film will be a flop...it can also turn out the opposite way!" "But..." Ranbir tried to say. But Sanjay cut him in. "Sonam has got the right approach! You should also think positive Ranbir"

But the positive thinking didn't do any good. Saawariya hit the theatres alright but people did not hit the theatres. The people went inside with expectations and came out with disappointment. People did not like it and critics recommended against it. Sanjay Leela Bhansali experienced failure for the first time and Ranbir and Sonam's dreams were shattered into pieces. People started criticizing them as well. But their families acted as their only source of support. "Bullshit!" their parents said! "You two look amazing in the film!" and their eyes filled up with tears of gratitude and love. Soon, a month went by but people never stopped criticizing them. Sonam's positivism was crushed into nothing and Ranbir...well, he felt like the black sheep of the family. But, they decided that they would fight...they would fight to make a platform for themselves in the film industry and make their parents proud.

Chapter-2

Part-1

'Trrrrrrrrrrrrrrinnnnnn" Ranbir's phone buzzed into life. Ranbir was in the middle of a soccer match and was quite annoyed by the phone call. He thought that it might be Sonam calling to embark on another one of her lectures on 'future plans' which never seem to have any definite ending. He halfheartedly walked over to the stands and took out his cell phone. He saw that it was an unknown number. He was a little taken aback but picked up the phone and said "Hello" dubiously. "May I speak to Ranbir Kapoor please" boomed the voice from the other end of the receiver. "Speaking" said Ranbir, a bit bewildered. "Oh hello sir... I'm Raghav Jain, speaking from 'Stardust' magazine." Then, it dawned on Ranbir. It was an offer. For a photo shoot. "Yes sir...how can I help you?" said Ranbir eagerly. "We want you to feature on the cover of our 'February Issue' along with Miss. Deepika". Well, it was not a full-fledged photo shoot...but it was a start! But...who was this Deepika? "Deepika?" Ranbir asked quizzically. "Deepika Padukone" came the reply from the other side. "I hope that rings a bell". Then, Ranbir remembered. Deepika Padukone was the other actress who had done her debut in the same year as he had done. But she had done her debut with Shahrukh Khan. Her film 'Om Shanti Om' and his film 'Saawariya' had released on the same date, but, unfortunately, her film was a blockbuster, while his was a major failure. "It does" Ranbir said quietly "thank you for the offer. I'll do it. When and where do I have to come?"

Then Raghav Jain filled him in the details and went on and on praising his performance in 'Saawariya'. When, finally he kept the phone. Ranbir muttered to himself "Aapse milkar maza ayega Miss. Deepika"
