The report quotes a source explaining that Atrangi Re has got a lot of humour and it’s in a zone that Rai has not attempted before. Sara has got a sort of double role in the film and there are two stories running parallel. The film is set in the heartland of the country and will be shot in Bihar and Madurai. However, the screenplay follows a non-linear narrative of two romantic relationships set in two different timelines.
