Why Rahul but not Nikki?

Rahul and Nikki both entered the BB house with a relatively small fanbase. But Rahul has now been able to create a fanbase and Nikki hasn't, despite making efforts throughout the show. What is your opinion on why this is so?

Nepotism ka kamal. Nowadays people support those who make a huge issue about nepotism 😆 At the same time Nikki lost her game in the chakkar of using Jaan on and off. Now she is back since one week and Rahul game is over since two weeks.

I really don’t think it’s as simple as nepotism. It’s basically that when show started people expected least from him and he delivered content good bad ugly.

Nikki is good but she is rude and not reliable, today she likes Abhinav in one second when just moments before she was dragging him. Rahul does not flip from friends (sadly) and has been pretty consistent. I guess mostly it’s the element of surprise, people knew what to expect from Nikki and not from Rahul.

Rahul was a well-known name. Unfair to compare Rahul and Nikki's popularity...Nikki, Jaan, Sara, Shehzaad were lesser-known names when the season started. And despite her voting disadvantage Nikki kept fighting, made clever moves, and made this far. Her efforts can not be trivialized.

may be people like his shi*ty one liners than Nikki’s. kyunki aise baatein ladki ke muh se shobha nahi dete but ladka kisi ko bhi, kuch bhi bol sakta hai mentality.

Just being a known name is not enough to build a BB fanbase though. Nikki has more Instagram followers than Rahul for example, but that means nothing really.

And Sara and Shehzaad were never tested with public votes, so its not a valid comparison. The fact remains that Nikki hasn’t somehow been able to build a BB fanbase despite being active in the show.

I agree with this explanation. I think it all boils down to the fact that people have been able to relate with Rahul but not Nikki.

Rahul has shown more substance, bad or good ALOT of ppl can relate with him, ppl like nikki r total BB materials but they can't garner votes sadly (like arshi), in one of interviews even vikas gupta talked about this and how he doesn't think nikki will reach top4 ..

One reason I feel is Rahul is lot more consistent in relations with the other contestants than Nikki. He always stands up against ones he dislikes and patches up with people he shares reasonable bond even if they had altercations.

Nikki seems unpredictable when it comes to people lol. One second is what it takes for her to change sides!

Hence, may be people find Rahul more relatable!

And its not just based on who’s a known face. Otherwise people like Asim and Shehnaz would not have been able to build a bigger fanbase than known faces in their season (Vishal, Devo).
