Why can't they just show a scene where Riddhima tells the truth about mother -son duo to Vihaan and asks his help for throwing them out.

Riddhima would've opened up if vihaan didn't do that divorce fiasco. If vihaan is vansh, this itself created doubt in riddhu about trusting him in the begining itself. During phase 1 kabir always made sure to keep Riddhima in good terms so always that she trust him and tells everything when needed. Kabir is quite smart when it comes to reading riddhu.
