No, right now she's genuinely worried because Ian never does that- switches off his phone and does not return her calls. It's unlike him, that's why she's worried and decides to ask Diane to check on him.

I recall someone wanting me to bring in Ian? I think Ryan and Sara need a little push, and Ian's presence just might provide that. Otherwise it will just be status quo with them! 😉

Yes he did, he probably saw two figures very close as they were some distance away which is why he asked about Ryan and how they got to be so close. He was alluding to their physical closeness as he's not had a chance yet to see any other type of interaction between them 😳
