Last minute zeetv changed and gave the award to that new couple (who didn't even last half a year and the guy turned evil so they wasted that award) only to promote that couple because their show was brand new, and zeetv tend to do that a lot where they even give new couples and characters who are completely unknown to audience a popular award nominations only just for sake of promotions and often give brand new unknown couples and characters awards to help promote the show to audience. 😆

New shows' pairs getting nominated for best jodi doesn't make any sense. "Best" in term of chemistry, storyline, development - which needs a lots of time at least a year.

How come they be the best if its just been few weeks?🤢

In Purab Disha days after dp . I episode is of 30 min , 8-10 min are wasted in ads. Then let us consider 1 episode of 20 min originally. During Purab Disha days roughly 10 min of screen space was given them continuously for 6-7 months , and in roughly remaining 10 mins , on alternate days Pranbir was given screen space of 5-7 min and Abhigya was given 2-5 min screen space , while on other alternate days Pranbir was given 2-5 min screen space ,and Abhigya was given 5-7 min screen space.

Me neither. What I meant is makers should have ended Purab character rather than showing Aliya getting the guy. That left a wrong messege.

I think the actors must have decided to stick to the show for the leap only if Purab Disha story would have some masala. Hence the twist was necessary.

Same happened with Ashvik. Ashvik were to quit in 2013 but somehow Ekta convinced them and that is why Arbi separation was brought in again so that they could focus on their story.

Most actors usually don't stick around for 20 ye leap involving characters so in order to lure them in they got DishaPurab. But of course writers had amnesia so they abandoned that track midway.

I can't believe they actually left so many tracks midway from that Rishi angle to Purab Disha. Hua kya unn dono mein pata hi nahin chala🤣
