Is anyone else done with Anxious People?
Some of you must have (at least mentally), prepared a list of books on your TBR for the next year.
Do share some books (3-5 books) you would like to read next year. If there are some books that all of us seem eager to read, we will choose that one as the BOTM sometime next year.
Some books on my TBR in no particular order:
1. A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth
2. The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy
3. Home Fire by Kamila Shamsie
4. Pachinko by Min Jin Lee
5. Radio Silence by Alice Oseman
6. The Brothers Karamazow by Fyodor Dostoyevsky (my classic pick I must read next year)
You must have other obligations, I pretty much do nothing else.
I thought we’d start with Colleen Hoover’s best book and based on that read other books of hers in February.
With It Ends With Us, I think there are very few who don’t like this book. So I’m glad you are added to the list of ones who like it. Hope you like it as much when you are done with it.
i always heard about Ugly Love more but omg we are gonna read more of hers yayyyy🥳 there are some parts which put me off but overall i am still addicted to the book!
I have a question though, which guy were you all shipping with Lily? Ryle or Atlas? I am more towards Atlas-Lily as they had a solid build up of friendship and emotional bonding which is interesting to read....Ryle-Lily are so far just physical🤢

the first 2 are on my never ending list too😆
I finished the shining...it wasnt as good as I expected! Maybe the movie is scarier🤔 I asked my hubby because he has watched it but he didnt enjoy it much either. Though hes a fan of Stephen King. He loves IT.😆 The last few chapters were way too violent for me and took so long to get through
I also finished Anxious People yesterday...I guess we will review it tomorrow?

Besides that, the books I really want to read from my huge pile are:

2. 1984 by George Orwell
3. Home Before Dark by Riley Sager
4. The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
5. The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

I just finished The anxious people. I will keep my opinion to myself till tomorrow.
For next year, I have decided to read books from authors that I have tried before. The famous ones obviously.
Also to try new genres. Thanks to the book club i read some books that I would never have picked on my own. And ended up liking most of them.
