I'm sorry Arpita, but I disagree that a leap is going to help in anyway. Even I can't stand Saudamini/Betty. But leap or no leap, we are going to have to put up with Saudamini and her cheap tricks in the future too. And I don't think an adult Bondita is going to make her improve on her tricks much. Even then she will be no different from the current Indian Television evil Saasumaas/Buajis/Nanads. It will be all be just old wine served in a new/different bottle.
Copying and pasting from another post where I had quoted someone agreeing with them about not wanting a leap for now.
This is one of the most unique couples on Indian Television and if handled properly (which they have done very well till now) the journey of this relationship could become one of the most beautiful, pure and iconic journeys towards love
Before the leap they need to show their bond growing and strengthening till it becomes unbreakable. Without it, post leap it will be no different from other shows where two strangers get married and start their journeys together. It's only through hardships Anirudh-Bondita's relationship will grow. Also if they show Anirudh falling in love with Bondita post leap without showing growing progress in their relationship, it will look superficial and more like attraction rather than the deep pure bond he experiences with her. I'd rather wait a little longer before the leap.
This is just my opinion and it is not just because of Aurra. But no matter what we feel a leap will surely change the aura of the show for better or worse or may remain constant. I respect your opinion and understand your reasons, but I just feel differently about a leap right now. Please don't take any offense. I hope I didn't hurt you in anyway. We can agree to disagree, right?
I completely agree with you Leanne. While Saudamini track is redundant and annoying, it is not reason enough to skip through so many impactful tracks that could come out of Bondita's education, her preteen years and adolescence. Aurra cannot be on the show forever. It's a fact but her part seems far from over. And like you said it's not just about aurra. It's that so many good messages can be passed onto viewer via important events like menstruation. Makers should not gloss over them and declare a leap. There is so much left to explore.
