i just simply love ke itne confusion main bhi they were straight about their feelings and emotions i loved his direct i didn't get it and i wanted to see you as sarpanch the very fact that he was angry in confusion kaafi hila hua trust yet something from inside him knew gulaal couldn't be wrong as in he was burning inside with the whole how could she yet a part of him was nah and she is the right sarpanch . in his mind despite her flaws or mistakes she was still better than dusyant who was the bigger culprit lol

because it never was and agar hota bhi tha toh never on the same days in every show . the funny part is they expect viewers to watch it 3 times a day and give them trp and when they don't manage it they panic. takes me back to the weekly assignments during IB era yeh hafta NDE ke naam every show will have same NDE. ab toh shak ki gunjaish hi nahi hai

and yeah i'd better save my popcorna nd champagne for things that are worth it then waste even that on this bakwaas. lol preeti ji toh paaki dhobi ka kutta ho gayi hai har jagah se laat khati hain but somehow yeh progressive hai.

This is what I always used to tell you about the intensity of emotions b/w GK.....Kesar ka turmoil in this phase as he feels confused over whether or not to trust Gulaal.....Raman poisoning his mind by insinuating an illicit relationship b/w Dushyant and Gulaal and Kesar feeling more confused by that cuz no one gives him direct answers to clear his confusions. When he questions Gulaal, she ends up giving him generic answers, not realizing what he's thinking about Dushyant.

THIS SCENE OMG i will type a separate post for the whole thing but i couldn't help but post this just amazing amazing stuff. raman ke words ghoomooing in his head everytime he starts softening somethign happening that pushes him further and brings the doubt harder in his mind har baat pe shak samne aata hai kisi baat pe trust na kar paana oh boy. poor kesar. Gulaal ke sensors are also on all time alert. what sometimes makes me angry is it's not that she is unaware of the intensity in his feelings but the way she negates everything every time and acts as if kuch hua hi nahi ends up giving hawa to the aag inside him more her casual behavior about it though ab uske sensors kaafi strongly jagrut ho gaye hain😆 she needs to stop brushing it aside or eel guilty about his feeligns for her . she is pushing her love aside too in her guilt of sorts ke talli ka kesar so she doesn't even allow her to feel anything. she keeps suppressing her emotions even more now that everybody keeps mentioning their actual rishta and ab kesar ka har action pe alarm hoti hai but she goes ah no nothing yeh sahi nahi hai. khud se hi bilawajah guilty feel karti hai. like the other day when he aise hi said ke gulaal bhi toh iski zindagi ka hissa hai ab gulaal bhi har signal ko aur hi intensely leti hai. also the chunni i was so mad at her behan kabhi toh apna soch liya kar. ab itna saaf saaf toh bol raha hai banda. the best part is ghussa utni shiddat se nahi aata warna you know my ghussa caz one can understand her reasonings the fact that pov's are given the introspection are given the meaning behind every action is given makes it so bloody amazing. baaki you know am bad with words khud se so i would love to read tumhare essays and discuss about certain scenes on scene to scene basis. :)). this scene was so bloody amazing i can't i watched it like 3 times since and now am gifing too . i loved how kesar finally let some of the things out some of the sawaals despite the fear of what jawabs he will get and that could also mean that he might end up losing her forever the thing that holds him back that despite all the shak and ghussa he still can't even imagine to let her out of his life. i also loved the scene after with mothabha where he is trying to hide that he is drunk oh man what acting there just the fear the way he moves his eyes around covers his face.

the other thing i absolutly love is that yahan koi dumb clueless nahi bhaitha except talli lol they all understand ke har kisi ke dimaag main kuch apna chal raha hai har ksii ke kichav ya behavior ke peeche reasons hain. the way tension surfaces when dushyant and kesar are aamne samne oh boy Goosebumps i enjoy it sooooo much

this is the stuff one calls spine chilling and popcorn worthy

Her "Teri pareshaani kya hai" was a brilliant setup for a scene that will come up soon with Kesar saying, "Meri pareshaani tu hai".....but in this scene, Kesar's just bubbling with anger and hurt that Gulaal chose to dismiss his suggestion and put forth Dushyant's name....it was a problem for many levels on Kesar....1) He wanted Gulaal to get that respect and position as the Sarpanch cuz he puts her on a pedestal....and 2) Gulaal chose to not only decline that position, she declined it for DUSHYANT....a person Kesar currently hates.....so it was a double blow for him and that is why he was so riled up in confronting Gulaal there....Gulaal meanwhile had no clue why Kesar was THIS upset😆....cuz she has no clue that he knows the truth about Dushyant killing Vasant. exactly this and this is why he can't understand her he is failing and all this makes his belief stronger that gulaal might be part of it it makes his doubt stronger and raises his fear ke if it is indeed true toh he might lose her which he can't afford for his own sanity.

Kesar ki zidd still feels childish cuz he's unable to have a full open discussion with Gulaal about all the questions swirling in his mind....so he chooses to focus on some bits, but doesn't get to the full picture....which is why others around him think he's still a confused kid. i totally understand all that is going on in his mind it's not easy questions to ask it is not at all something one can have a conversation just casually and break whatever little they are building again. i don't mind his zidd and it isn't childish as such caz kesar bohat mature ho gaya hai but i meant childish as in sometimes how he akdoes it is not childish in a spoilt brat way this time his zidd ke peeche karan hain and i totally understand why he behaves the way he behaves.

He will eventually confront Gulaal with the full truth about Dushyant....but Gulaal will retreat into mutinous silence then....which will further fuel Kesar's anger and hurt.....zidd toh dono hi karte hain😆. Gulaal could have given him a direct answer when he asked her....but she still didn't....because she felt more offended that Kesar was questioning her rather than clearing up his confusions and questions about why she supported Dushyant despite knowing that he killed Vasant.....her own pride kicked in by then😆.

Re: the letters scene....yep it's the "jawaab se darrta hoon main" scene that I used in my VM as well....it's the most angsty of all the letter scenes and it shows the depth of turmoil in Kesar's mind.....his desperation to get his answers from Gulaal but his fear that those answers may take her away from him.oh boy that is a classic scene again gold level

Mainly cuz I wanted to contrast these two bits😆.....when you watch in a flow, you realize even more that this question from her ultimately culminates in him answering it when she least expects it.....lol

This scene is a hall of famer in the Gulaal storyline....I think I've tried to gif it like 5 times but I never feel I've done justice to it😆.

Re: the scene....yeah, maybe it's that very directness that was such a unicorn in the business of ITV that drew me to them too....Kesar actually was a jumble of contradictions here....he was direct with her about some things but not about his larger issues which he couldn't bring himself to confront her about for quite a while.

But yes, your point is bang on....despite all his confusions about Gulaal, he still wanted her to become the Sarpanch....he always put Gulaal on a higher pedestal than everyone else, except for maybe Vasant.....and by this phase, he had started mellowing towards her again briefly after all his initial rude behavior with her....but then her choosing Dushyant for Sarpanch just threw him off all over again and the storm began raging inside him again.

You've reached the Pareshaani scene and that's obviously one of the pinnacles of the show.....but if you can imagine, it gets even more volatile after that in some ways.....in this scene, we see Kesar's extreme vulnerability and he's still confused enough to be thrown off by her in the end as she asks him to let her go....but you'll see a whole new Kesar after he confronts her about Dushyant....and the ultimate change after he confesses his love to her.
