Episode 53 part 1

Kuhu trying on another dupatta, Varsha comes in with Mishti’s clothes, Kuhu calls herself hot and gets scolded by her mom. BM comes and gives the pearl necklace to Mishti, saying Meenu sent it. Kuhu says she’s getting a headache from looking at the necklace because it’s so loud, as loud as Mishti’s dragon saas😆

Kunal calls Mishti and asks if she’s hiding anything from her past? Other than her liking to wear glasses, doing a job and her dad’s truth, is she hiding something else he should know? Mishti says no there’s nothing like that! Kunal says even after courtship he feels he doesn’t know her completely (Really? After only 1 1/2 dates?)

Sometimes he feels she’s exactly the girl of his choice at other times he feels he doesn’t know her at all . So he directly asked her, he hoped she didn’t mind. Mishti says it’s good you asked me directly. Kunal thanks her and says he’s coming with the GD

The Mah ladies anxiously ask Mishti what Kunal said, Mishti tells them Kunal doesn’t like surprises in life or relationships so he directly asked if there’s something she didn’t tell about herself.

BM looks tense, Varsha says Mishti already told him everything, rather he surprised her with that surgery. Mish noticed Bm is tense and asks her if there’s something about her past she should know about? BM says no but in her tension drops the pearl necklace which falls on the floor and breaks. She panics that Meenu’s gift broke, Mishku and Varsha pick up the pearls and reassure the nervous BM

Mish tells her not to worry. She thinks sometimes Kunal seems like a friend who cares for her, makes efforts for her, sometimes he seems cold and distant, not right guy for her.

Abir enters mah house with a shayari in his mind that the story of his friendship is ending and it’s time for him to move on, he wishes her happiness as he’s familiar with sadness.

Naman lurking behind mah house gate. Meenu berates Lakshman for believing Naman that he will reach mah house on time. She says Naman must reach the house or else how will she win the game without her trump card?

Abir thinks he shouldn’t have come here and turns to leave but Jas is there. He flirts with her calling her Katrina, and sweet talks her into sneaking him into Mishti’s room. Jas thinks Abir has come to give a love letter to Mishti from Kunal. Lol if only she knew......☺️

Kuhu shows Mishti she’s mended the necklace, now Dracula saas won’t even guess it ever broke! Mishti is thrilled and tries to be affectionate but Kuhu says she did this to get rid of Mishti.

Mish asks Kuhu why she didn’t get ready yet as she takes forever, Kuhu says BM told her to make Mishti ready first. She told dadi that to make Mish beautiful would need plastic surgery, but let dadi didn’t agree. Mish tells Kuhu not to make her look like a witch! Kuhu laughs and says she won’t have to try. (Kuhu mean taunts as always)

She tells Mishti to hurry up so they have to spend less time together, MishKu lift the tray with the lehenga and it toppled, the photo hidden in the clothes falls on the floor. Mishti tells Kuhu to be careful with the lehenga so the ironing is not ruined. Kuhu warns Mishti if she says that again she will pour 2 bottles of ketchup on her dress. Kuhu deliberately handles the lehenga roughly inspite of Mishti’s protests. She’s tying Mishti’s choli strings roughly, Mish tells her she will tie them herself (how will she do that?) Kuhu is fixing her dupatta and reaches out for safety pins and falls alongwith Mishti. She yells at Mishti why can’t she stand straight! Mishti noticed Kuhu’s bracelet is missing and asks where is it? Kuhu pretends ignorance, Mish says the bracelet you threw out in the garden! Kuhu gets mad accusing Mishti of following her, doesn’t she have a personal life? She stomped off with Mishti’s dupatta, Mish calls out to give her dupatta, she throws it outdide the door.

Kuhu is acting so rude and obnoxious, her jealousy is openly showing.

Kuhu was flipflopping so much during this period. On emanate she wants to help Mishti so that Mishti leaves the house soon, the song minute she is so jealous of Mishti and cannot help but be rude to her.

I just finished watching first half of this episode and I am already disturbed how mish put out with all the mean things being said to her ( i feel that slap would have been rightly placed here, at least a good reply back!) And the same girl became so bold to break off her rishta with kunal so she knew how defend herself. Then why couldnt she ever do the same in front of kuhu? 😕 Also, like BM said, mish should have called her from the hospital. i dont understand why she called kuhu? or was it because she loved getting insulted by her like that? 😔

Anyhow from that to kunal-abir convo. @Abir continued to support Mishnal alliance- Kunal seemed to have badly affected by shweta and now the fear of failing in a second relationship scared him Abir, being the protective elder brother he was, thought to take care of him that time than to tell him mishnal werent right for EO.

kuhu shamelessly dreaming about her sister's fiance is beyond me honestly.

Mishti should have called BM from the hospital instead of meanie Kuhu. Maybe she thought Kuhu would give her better advice about beaut, looks etc but BM BP had the right to know about the surgery

Kuhu is the most unstable, volatile character, she keeps on making about turns every 2 minutes!

exactly! He just wanted to get married, didnt matter with whom. As long as the girl listened to his demands and obeyed his family. I have heard, boys in 90s used to have that mindset

Bold: Did you watch the show Indian Matchmaking on Netflix? I’ve heard a lot of ranting about it. The trailer is quite revealing. Nothing has really changed in the boys’ mindset from the 90s. It’s still the same. Marriages are messy, specially arranged marriages! But even love marriages end up badly, if expectations are too high disappointment is also heavy. But at least you’re choosing your own destiny not allowing your parents or a matchmaker to choose for you.

yeah exactly. it was so unlike mishti, who stood strong against kunal, meenu, mrs parekh etc. so she knew how to defend herself. But when it came to kuhu's taunts all she managed to say was "yeh kaisi baatein kar rahi hain tu?"

My friends made me watch a couple of episodes and I cringed while watching First I thought it was all fake, then I got to know it wasn't (at least thats what it is supposed to not be).

I have seen my cousin sister getting into a love marriage against family's wishes but so far its tunred out good. (my relatives used to say she will end up getting divorced very soon🤔) And my other cousin got into arranged marriage. But yeah during her arranged marriage we did see some funny expectations from boys and their families. 😆Nothing as extreme as that show though 😃 I think they just added some masala content or it was not what middle class families experiance.

@Marriages are messy and bold - so true. Whats important is, the expectations should be set right from both sides. And those two people willing to be with EO no matter who says what. 👍🏼

Epi 54 part 1 - nanu, mamu and jugnu tried to locate abir using nanu's phone which was in abir's bag. they find out he's at bus stand.

kunal and meenu look for nanu but jugnu tells them they already left. 😒

Mish is looking for her diary when she stumbles upon the GD phot of kunal and shweta. mish is shocked to see the photo and on the back of it it's written kunala nd shweta GD may 2018 (why doesn't she question, how that photo got in her room btw?)

BM wants to talk to BP abt naman and how they should tell about it to kunal but hide from mishti (hain? how was that possible?) anyway, does anyone keep the subtitiles on? I do and the translations are hilarious. like, they translated BM calling to BP as "ji" to "dearest" 🤣

Abir is at the bus stand with 2 diaries (didnt he realize he picked 2? or he thought mish gave him 1 pe 1 free?) he got on the bus. Nanu and mamu were following the bus and as they almost neared, their car broke down 😕 (they could call a cab and follow no?)

Epi 54 part 2 - Abir finally opened the first diary and realized it was mishti's. He started reading (haww buri baat abir, kisi ki personal diary nahi padhte 😛) khair so he realized whatever she likes about nanko, it is actually him in the disguise of nanko.

Rajvansh fam arrived for GD (how did nanu got there with meenu and kunal? didnt they leave separately? 😲 and when did nanu and mamu got time to go back and change? )

Kunal gave an apologetic look to kuhu (for firing her from job?). Kuhu is looking for mish who is dubstruck due to kunal's past suddenly coming in front of her and how. and as usual kuhu started with her 'demean mishti everytime' class.

Abir is elated and excited with the realization that mish might actually like him and he started telling about it to other passengers on bus top 😆 one of the girls compared his story to kuch kuch hota hain, and him to shah and mish to kajol (di aapka shah is aapka srk again 😆) and she tells him to win over 'villain kunal'. And our hero is back to his dilemma "nanko ka dil kaise todun?" dhat tere ki!

Kuhu and mish descending from the stairs (how many entrances and exits maheshwari sadan had? 😲 they obviously didnt enter from main door otherwise everyone would have seen no?) Nidhi mami priases mish and puts on kajal ka tikka on her 😳

kunal and mish finally alone and she asks him how is he? and he asks her the same and she looks disturbed (my heart goes out to both of thm here actually, in fact all 3 of them kunal,mish and abir). A big storm is awaiting for them which is gonna change their dynamics forever
