@bold I couldn't have said it better myself. Nice observation on teh HM track being a two way street. Escaping HM was just the first step to their redemption from the clutches of evil. And we saw how their small business venture was torn down by the villages. While Anirudh will be the shield that protects them now, they need more than that to stand on their two feet. And that, my dear, can come through education. Even basic skills of language and numeracy will make them less dependent on menfolk and the world other than them. They can carve a niche for them without the need to turning to a man, even Anirudh or Saurabh for help.

I'm a way these girls are like victims of an accident, they are hurt and need crutches to walk. They fall and wonder if they are going to ever walk again by themselves but eventually they need to get over their fear and start walking without the crutches. Here, Ani and Sourabh are the crutches and the girls think that crutches won't be there forever and if they won't be able to walk by themselves, isn't it better to give up before the ultimate fall?
Its phase, they will need some encouragement and purpose before they overcome their fears.
