I just finished watching both epi 2 and 3 and liked both again.....the gradual pace of the story is growing on me.....SG ko SG bolein ki Saarang? đ.....I liked the way they are building up the contrast between his life and Alia's......the way he's in the process of wanting to make his own name in life while Alia has already done that on her own merit. I liked the little scene with her dad where she smartly managed to give her dad a direct answer even though he was trying to pretend like he alone was the reason for her success. It's also cute the way she cheers up at the sight of any dessert.....her friendship with Rabia is nice.
Epi 2 was a bit slow , absolutely loved the third episode. It felt so wholesome story wise, background score( feels different and has such a comic element to it, its very refreshing) , love the family angle of ML and friends on both sides and I like how they are juxtaposing Alia- Saarang life ! ( Abhi I guess Saraang sounds betterđ )
Alia has that kid in her still deep down that did not get a chance to grow ( maybe dessert thing is done to show that)
Haan husband is cheating on her as expected.....looks to be a case of him feeling insecure since his wife is more successful so he latched on to one of her friends only. Alia has been too busy with work to notice what a robotic life she's leading with her husband.
He is such a đ€Ź, atleast her friend has a bit of guilty consciousness ( doesnât make her any better, but still) and this guy is just using her for successđ” He does seem to have insecurity issues , as he wants to get help from his FIL , but wife helping with presentation hurt his male ego.
Epi 3 has really sweet scenes between Saarang and his momđ.....the whole mandir to movie theater bit especially isđ.....I like how subtly they've woven in his mom's filminessđ....and the way all his friends support him is nice too.
I absolutely loved that whole sceneâ€ïž Especially the mandir bitsđ€Łđ€Ł and him saying maa batao ho kya raha hai, mujhe koi suspense movie jaisa lag raha hai. Rofl at the whole arrangement she has with her movie watchingđ€Ł That number 6 thing and the guy giving him tickets, ROFL it was so filmyđ€Ł Love how the comic element is subtle and not OTT. Hame to naye show mein bhi Krishna references milte rahenge( Lalla being from Mathura where everyone greet with Radhe Radheđ ) I like how in every step of the way he is refusing to get even a indirect help because of his corrupt fathers name, like cutting the line, or accepting money from sutkhors moneyđ His mom and her life fundas are refreshingđđŒ, especially the whole matinee show thing:))
Last bit was showing a play of destiny that Saarang ka destination ended up being Mumbai cuz that was the only train available at the station thenđ.
Destiny made a choice for him. đ Also I so wanted to see the lady who gave him a hand , filmy styleđ€Ł, got so disappointed when they did not show herđ
The maid scene was also so much funđ Again you see a soft side of hers, with her providing everything for the kids to study and them arguing about laptopđ
So far the build up is good....remains to be seen how they present Alia and Saarang ke interactions once they actually meet.
