2006 anyways was a transition year for BW, so Dhoom2 fitted right in.

Hrithik looked his hottest. (No wonder he never got rid of that hairstyle.😆)

The first 5 years was about taming the curls - from Dhoom 2 on it was mostly about letting them loose (and sometimes dyed blond). 😆 Only in War has an entirely different style made such an impact.

Agreed that the style of Dhoom 2 was forefront in ushering in a new phase in BW - for good and ill.

AB jr is supposedly playing a rough and tough cop in this movie but looks so out of shape. One of the reasons he never became a Superstar was because of his laziness. Just being a good actor is not enough, you have to be hard working.

Then he wonders why he doesn't get any credit for the success of Dhoom series. John, Hrithik and even Aamir despite being 45+ worked hard on their body to work in Dhoom series, on the other hand you see this guy walking around with a paunch.

It's excusable for Uday Chopra as he was playing a comic relief but AB jr was playing a serious cop, but still was not professional enough to work on his body to look the part.

Uday worked out for Dhoom2 - hence all the sleeveless shots 😆

The director indirectly called out Abi on that when he was getting complaints for favoring Hrithik over Abi (rumor has it much of it by Amitabh)

India Express: Q + A: SANJAY GADHVI

People were also surprised that it is so Hrithik-centric and that apparently, Abhishek got a short shrift.

I have received a lot of flak that Abhishek has been overshadowed by Hrithik in the movie. But how can I help it? Anyway, the Dhoom formula is heavily in favour of the bad guy. On paper, Hrithik’s role is 55 per cent, but with his intense commitment, focus and hard work, he has made it a one-horse race. Hrithik’s simply unbelievable in the movie and he’s gone ahead of Abhishek. He owns the film.

Uday looked pretty nice when he wore that blue suit in 'Touch Me' tbh 😆 Abhishek on the other hand looked kinda disinterested throughout.

I remember the Bachchans being salty about the film, especially because of the kissing scene 😆

And @underlined exactly. I mean lol no offence but where was Abhishek in the movie? Guy was literally the weakest link, even Bipasha in her less screen time was more fun to watch. He's not a bad actor in general but in this case, Hrithik's (and even Aishwarya's) sheer presence was enough to engulf him.

Exactly, it's amazing how the director had the courage to call the spade a spade regards of the bacchans being powerful and all.

Abi was the most boring and disinterested actor of the lot, his bad physique and unkept face, he looked sleepy throughout the whole movie. If he wanted the same adulation as Hrithik then he had to give his 200% the way Hrithik gives on his movies. Also, on paper also he was the second fiddle, so he signed the movie knowing that Hrithik was the main lead, so what's the point of complaining after the movie was made.

The droopy shoulders of Abhishek and the sleepy disinterested presence were as much a highlight as the overall magnetic persona of Hrithik in this movie. Dhoom 2 will always be remembered for these!

I thought Bipasha was pretty cute as Monali. They tried to show her and Ali as the irritating ones through Abhishek's Jai but instead he's the one who ended up seeming like an irritating jerk tbh 😆

And God, Hrithik as Aryan is a masterpiece, look at that body and all the charisma in this song

Ash and Hrithik are like Barbie and Ken dolls 😆

If AIshwarya's recent Cadbury advertisements are anything to go by, her so called acting is still at the same cringe level as 'Are you like, checking me out'...
