One of my most favorite songs! I watched the movie last year because I was revisiting all my old regressive favs. Despite the few severely problematic moments I think it holds up better than its contemporaries.
Why does the lady always has to a suffer in the snow with bare shoulders and midriff and flimsy costumes, while the guy is covered in jeans and full sleeves...
Always felt bad for the heroines from Aradhana’s Sharmia Tagore, watching her lay in the snow in just a saree while Rajesh Khanna, crazy as his outfits were, was fully protected...
What do they do for warmth while filming? The hugs from the heroes couldn’t be enough, or does a peg or two helps?
the simplicity in the way the song was shot was great...

In some scenes looked like green screen. But I agree that women has to wear skimpy clothes even in coldest of coldest weather. While men gets to wear something to keep warm.
But what an amazing location. Wonder where it’s shorted.

IMDB says “While shooting the title song the temperature was very low and after every scene Aishwarya Rai had to run and cover herself with a shawl.”

Aradhana song where Sharmi and Rajesh sing and roll in the snow - he in a thick suit, she in a thin sari, even drags herself thru her butt and bare hands at one point, hope she was wearing a butt warmer...

Yes definitely without a doubt the song is shot at that amazingly breath taking beautiful location. But at very few places it looked to me like green screen especially when camera is zoomed to upper half. But I am no expert so just assumptions.
my cover version of this song
