Your eyes continued to tell
Never skipping a day
Never missing a beat

It's those eyes that compelled me to ask you out

Around the holy fire
When walking with you
Promising a lifetime worth of promises
I expressed gratitude
Even in that moment,

From the moment our child opened their eyes

Your eyes tell
To be able to read those eyes
I consider myself lucky
Spending a lifetime worth with you
