I watched K3G and realized something which I have noted every time I watched the movie. Yash and his wife didn't love Rohan as much as Rahul and bechara Rohan would even get slapped in adulthood and bodyshamed in his childhood

No parent would ever accept this openly, but if they have multiple children, then they do pick favorites and have preferences. It's natural.
If they are saying that they love all their children equally then they are lying to others and probably themselves as well.
Rahul was loved more probably because Yash and Nandini didn't want to make him ever think or feel that he's being discriminated because he's the adopted child.
Maybe they also wanted only one child, so having Rohan after adopting Rahul might felt like a burden.

Yeah I understand since my family is like Raichands too. I am the younger son but my brother is only a few years older than me unlike Rahul and Rohan
First borns are always extra special to the parents. They loved Rohan also but Rahul is that much more special because he was the first one to give them the taste of parenthood.
On top of that, the perfect child that Rahul was, any parent would fall in love with that child again and again.
I felt really bad for Rohan. No one really cared about him, except for Poo and DaiJaan. But yeah, Rahul was oh-so-charming, Nandini just couldn't see beyond him. Rohan was young when Rahul was thrown out, so they probably couldn't tell him and hence excluded him from everything.
Don't know about Nandini but Yash loves Rohan more than Rahul. If Rohan has fall in love with someone like Anjali I don't think he would have chased him out of house and being separated for 8 years long.
Yash thinks Rahul should be indebted to him and listen to him only. He even blatantly told him he did this because he is adopted.
For me, Yash always loved Rohan more than Rahul. He changed at the last time too because of his biological son since he doesn't want to lose him.
Rahul was the favorite child ! They adored him slightly more because they had more emotions connected with him and plus he was adopted and they never felt that and gave him everything. It was hurtful when the father mentioned that he is not his blood to rahul at that point 💔
Yash loved Rohan and Nandini loved Rahul

Even Poo only cared about him when she realized he became good looking so her feelings were also very materialistic whereas Daijaan loved him unconditionally.
As far as mothers go, they're normally more attached to the youngest child.
But in the film, you can clearly see Nandini was quite submissive as a wife and had a meek personality. 🥱She probably never felt very happy in her married life until Rahul came, after which she was overjoyed & became overly attached to Rahul. (quite apparent from the opening credits😆)
Yash had A LOT of expectations from Rahul (due to him being the elder child/son of the family) like..................
-- joining the family business,
-- becoming the public face of the Raichands,
-- setting an example for Rohan,
-- marrying business-partner's daughter Naina
-- gradually taking Yash's place as the family patriarch.🤔
That's why Yash cringed at the idea of Rahul falling in love with an ordinary middle-class girl, and lost it completely when Rahul impulsively got married , ruining all of his plans/expectations.😆
BUT at no point, it is implied that Yash and Nandini loved Rohan any lesser. In fact, they were quite liberal with Rohan.
Eg. Yash didn't even want Rohan to go to London just to fulfill family's parampara. Clearly, Rohan was the baby of the family with no baggage OR any hardcore expectations.
Some parents may pick favorites among their children, but we can't generalize that. They can have different expectations from their kids but it doesn't mean they intend to "differentiate" among their children.
